We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

Congrats, Gooner! The English clubs did us proud this week. Now, how exactly do the footie intellectuals such as Simon Kuper explain these results?
Well done Gunners! They really out in an excellent performance against Barcelona and deserved the victory. My only concern is that Barcelona did score an away goal that may prove to be the difference over the two legs. Either way the Gunners can be proud. This match and the match vs AC Milan show that the EPL is the top league around.
As I said in my email... win the damn tie!!!
