Lakenheath Old Boys
We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

Morning Boys
These two games are the reverse fixtures of when I was stuck in the middle of a hurricane.. here's to not losing power today!
I'll take the same score in match #2 though!!!

sanj06 on Twitter: "A few years ago City v Spurs was your average Premier League game! Now it's England's newest 'Big Match'. How times have changed."
Remember that Adebayor is ineligible for this match for actually being a Citeh player
Morning, Dave! I'm back in Blue Devil HQ this morning. I'm happy to be back even though we left 85F temperatures and flew back into 25F last night in Buffalo. Brrrr!
I'll take 16 goals again this morning. What a cracking day to come back to.
As the table stands right now
Citeh 51
Utd 48
Spurs 46
Chels 41
Arse 36
New 36
Pool 35
I do want Spurs to win BUT if they do, they will be ahead of United!
Welcome back to the Frozen Tundra
Morning
I hope these matches are good today
Especially the second on on the Fox Network. They did show the Chelsea Liverpool match on tape delay earlier in the year. This one is live.... be exciting!
FSC's show is starting.... I hope they don't drown out the crowd
The preview show is over and we're going to get five minutes of match preview on FSC now.
From those line-ups, it looks as if both teams will be going for it from the off. I hope so.
"Blue Moon" is over and it's time for Spurs to get us underway at Eastlands.
There will be the highest attendance at the Etihad today
AWAY WE GO... no hurricane please!
Glad to see Spurs didn't change their shirts just to change their shirts!
I agree - no need given the contrast.
I was listening to Five Live before the match and it hasn't turned off. The BBC hasn't got the rights to the match. I am going to keep in on for good listening
I am listening to the commentating of the 8-2
Slow start to the match
VDV had a chance to put a free kick in the box and they try a stupid short one!
Very cagey - I was hoping for different.
Me too
Clichey in the book for a deliberate handball from off the pitch
Hopefully, that can come back to haunt him
Tottenham have settled the better and controlling the ball
They are a good team
SAF said they are playing the best football in the league
Aguero with Citeh's first shot.. blocked
Aguero pulls the trigger and it's deflected out for a corner.
Atrocious corner.... have you see a corner hit right to the wall?
Oh dear from LUFC Academy there. His weakness has always been his final ball.
Where's the quality, mate?
Great play from Bale... his cross wasn't brilliant but could have been dangerous... GET MEN IN THE BOX
Exactly!
I want to see that from the team in Blue and Black later on today
Quality and PACE!
Who do you want to go to Wembley midweek?
Did you know that if Liverpool make it, it will be there first visit to Wembley since 1996!!
ooh, Citeh's best chance!
Nice pass but two players go after the same ball... keep it boys
Citeh starting to get control of the ball
Corner to Spurs... Short one!!
WHY?? They get a throw-in... that worked!!!
Already a quarter of the match done.. not much happening
How about Galaxy Boy, Keano, scoring two yesterday against one of his old clubs
Great run by Aguero and it is well defended by Kaboul and Silva drags a shot wide
Still, neither keeper has had to do anything
I've completely tuned out the Carling at this point after that drubbing at the hands of some wanky Manc team back in the fall. Who's in it other than Pool?
Nice one
Semis First Leg
Citeh 0 Liverpool 1
Palace 1 Cardiff 0
USELESS CROSS AGAIN FROM SPURS LEFT!
Lennon needs to take on Clichy more.. he's on a yellow.
Take him on with pace and make him challenge you!
Not much of center midfield pair for Citeh
Barry and Milner!
Nice save Brad... first of the match
Spurs crossing has been atrocious!
VDV has two pops but both blocked
I can't believe that Chelsea have 41 points. They have been hopeless
Free kick chance for the Spurs
Given that, I'll have Pool v. Palace - you?
Kaboul and VDV standing over it... Kaboul goes for power and almost kicks it out of the stadium
That free kick from Kabboul is still orbiting the solar system as we speak.
Me too
Of course, I'd like to keep Citeh busy on weekend in February and have to make up a fixture some midweek night
It just passed my house!
Five Live said there is some bloke on the field wearing completely different boots on each foot
Let's try and spot him
Spurs left back?
I'm game for that one.
It looks to me as if it's Assou Ekotto. His right boot has a lot of red on it - not so with his left boot.
Yeah - you got it before I did.
That's a very flash move for a left back, I ask you!
Citeh have lost their swagger at the moment.. I need them to lose more points during this stretch
pwnoble on Twitter: "Things I don't understand: What has happened to Nasri? Why is Lennon highly-rated? Gareth Barry plays for the league leaders?"
No added time for the first half?
There was a yellow
Coming up on half-time now. A bit of a bore - I should have stayed in bed to be fair.
Howard blows up 5 seconds after the 45
Very disappointing half... I 'll take this score.. I guess
Former England left-back and BBC Radio 5 live pundit Michael Gray on why Tottenham defender Benoit Assou-Ekotto is wearing a different coloured boot on each foot: "When you go out there you try on different boots and wear what feels right. He probably just wants to be comfortable. But his feet look like a rainbow."
Five Live says that this would be the best score for United
Super Bowl Sunday has Chelsea v Man Utd on Fox. This sport of ours is slowing going mainstream!!
United arriving at the Emirates
Out on the pitch up North
Away we go.. definitely want to see Spurs goal and then Citeh having to go after the equalizer
We're back on and I'm hoping for better than that first half dross.
Shadow is dying to go for a walk.. I have to take him out for a bit. I'll be back
Cheerio, mate. I'll chat with you later.
Great cover from Milner - LUFC Academy - as Bale was streaking through.
Great turn of pace by Aguero and he's impeded by Parker. Parker's booked for his efforts.
Before I go, FIve Live are talking cricket.... Geoffery Boycott is a big UNITED fan!
He's a Yorkshire lad!
GOAL! Nasri breaks the deadlock for Citeh!
Of course it's David Silva who pulled the strings there. He ran at the Spurs defense and then threaded a gorgeous pass through the middle to an on-rushing Nasri who just blasted it past Brad.
1-0 Citeh!
Lescott - 2-0!
This match has been turned on it's head in two minutes. The corner came over and Spurs made a mess of it. No one attacked the ball to head it out, Parker came off the post to try to help out and all the Citeh center back had to do is bundle it over.
GOAL! Defoe pulls one back! Three goals in about five minutes.
Route 1 there from Spurs. Kaboul chipped a long ball out. Savic made a hash of the header that fell on to Defoe's path. Defoe merely had to round Hart and slot home.
2-1!
Now it's Dzeko pulling a great save out of Brad. This match has finally sprung to life.
And here comes Balo! Wow!
Nasri wins a corner off Ledley King now.
Wow - Bale launches a special one and it's Desmond!
That came out of nowhere. Lennon ran at Lescott and then slid the ball over to Bale on the edge of the box. Bale curled one first time with his left peg beyond Hart's grasp.
Where are you, mate? You've missed four goals on your walkies!!!
Some twenty five minutes left and this one could still swing either way.
Balo has come on for Dzeko and now VDV trots off for Livermore.
Spurs have got to stop conceding these corners - they're rubbish at defending them.
BLOODY HELL.. I COME BACK AND IT IS DESMOND!!!
Citeh were two up???
United fans will certainly take this result.
Just looked at the goals... great goal by Bale
STRUTH!!
IT WAS HOPELESS WHEN I WAS WATCHING!
Defoe's finish was cool too
Woof - Lescott sticks his elbow straight into Kabboul's throat and might have got a red card.
There were four goals in NINE minutes!
56, 59. 60 and 65!
Honestly, Dave - can't you just stick Shadow out in the backyard to do his business?
I know.. we need a damn fence!
Again, this match was hopeless in the first half!
Defoe should have gotten that across!
I was thinking, while I was freezing on the walk, I hope we have normal commentators for the match this morning on Fox... don't be using some Yanks!
Mario picks up a quick yellow card. His reputation proceeds him.
10+ minutes to go
Keep it the same or Spurs winner please... CITEH... NO
This far better than El Classico!
Did you see any highlights of that?
I think a couple players are going to be nominated for an Oscar
Teams are in for the Emirates match
TH 12 not involved at all
Scholes on the bench
Walcott and Chamberlain both in the starting line up
Balotelli kicks Parker in the face. It was accidental at first but maybe he added it bit to the kick!
Rio isn't involved either
Bloody hell - Balo should have gone off for that one on Parker!
The radio thinks it was a stamp by Balo
They think he will charged after the match
Come on Spurs... keep it tight
Could be a great weekend for the Arse with Spurs and Chelski drawing, Newcastle losing and Pool drawing.
on comes Pinear for Lennon
What a hopeless career move he made leaving Everton
Shut it Dahlgren! We need a Arsenal loss!
Did you know Roon hasn't been booked all season?
Watch him get a red!!
Into 4 minutes of added time
COME ON YOU SPURS!!
OH MY GOD!!
DEFOE INCHES AWAY!!!
Oh - how did Defoe not stick that one home. And he's hurt himself trying to score.
CITEH MUST NOT SCORE!!
I'm just saying....
It reminded me of the Gazza chance against Germany in Euro 96
Citeh do not deserve this!!
Come on Spurs
30 seconds
BLOODY HELL... IT IS PENALTY!!!
UNBELIEVABLE!!!
OH MY! Balo goes down and it's a penalty! A last ditch chance for Citeh to win it. Terrible decision from King.
I think it was!!
THEY DON'T DESERVE IT!!!
Last kick of the game....BALO scores!!
RIP OFF
It's Balo....scores!
3-2!
This is the sort of result that turns seasons. What a second half!
I AM GUTTED!!
SPURS DESERVE AT LEAST A POINT!!
I agree!
Citeh were struggling
It's over!!
BUGGER BUGGER BUGGER
I agree - it really did seem like a score draw.
That's it - Balo has won it with that penalty decision and conversion.
I'm off to throw some laundry in before the big one.
HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN OFF!!!
So, the first round had 15 goals
#1 of today.... 5 goals!
There is a long way to go but that could have done it for Citeh and cooked it for Spurs
Breaking College Football news

United's bench is one that could change things by coming on
This is a must win for United
We are currently SIX points behind Citeh
Hopefully, the bench won't need to change anything
From JJ, annoyed Manchester United fan, via text: "Balotelli should not have been on the pitch. Since coming on he ruined that game. Unlucky Spurs!"
From Gutted Spurs fan, via text: "It's all very well enjoying Balotelli's idiocy but when he kicks someone's head whilst they are on the ground you have to question him."
Get Morgan off the set!!!!
Injured Manchester United striker Michael Owen on Twitter: "Frightening. What a game. Shame about the result! Now it's our turn and the pressure is on. I fancy us."
Injured Manchester United striker Michael Owen on Twitter: "Frightening. What a game. Shame about the result! Now it's our turn and the pressure is on. I fancy us."
Lovely to see the ATE TWO shown again!
Appy Arry aint that happy on Five Live
He says that Balo kicked Parker in the back of the head
Bob must have a lot of laundry!!!!
Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson speaking after seeing Premier League leaders Manchester City snatch a last-gasp win over Spurs to extend their lead at the top of the table: "What we've got to do is to make sure we keep on City's coat-tails. So many things happen in football and so we just have to make sure we do our job properly and keep on plugging away at them."
Alan Green thinks Defoe's miss was the worst of the season
Back in August... Citeh did their bit and United bettered it.... same again
Now they're interviewing SAF..... go to the stadium soon please
I thought Jonesy was going to be fit but not involved at all
Piers just said something nice about SAF!!
GO TO THE STADIUM!!
IT IS ALMOST 11!!!
Rio answering Piers twitter!
Tears for Piers
I hope Piers has got nothing to say at half time!!
Teams in the tunnel... Fox going to commercial
Four wingers on show today... let's get some attacking football for the American public
GO TO THE STADIUM!!!
So, where is the coverage! I'm not seeing it on FSC, ESPN2 or Fox Soccer Plus. What are you watching?
FOX NETWORK!!!
NFL FOX
Get with the program ROBERT!
Oh - duh, I've found it. It's on the regular Fox channel. WTF?
I'm glad that I missed Piers Morgan. What a tosser!
First ever live match on network TV
Finally at the stadium
As I said earlier, the Chelsea v United match is on Fox on Super Bowl Sunday
Marks Hughes in the stands
Here we go
COME ON MAN U
COME ON MAN U
COME ON MAN U
Martin Tyler and Alan Smith.... lovely.... keep your pro-Arsenal comments to yourself!
We're off
I see that Fox needed to keep it to themselves until kick off because they have the Sky feed
Please be a good match ... with goals
Struth.. where was the United defense... COME UNITED
RVP was wide open at the back post... don't you think he should be marked at all times!!
Jones is playing
Who isn't playing from the list I found before?
Why pick this one?
Hopeless by Nani.. there was chance there to attack!!
Huh?
Sorry, I don't understand your question. I'm still playing catch up here.
oops, he was on the list... my bad
"why pick this one?"
Ramsey with a shot easily saved by Linde
Well - it's 2nd v. 5th. This morning's was 1st v. 3rd. It's not exactly the best match of the season. Why not show the Manc Derby as the first one, e.g.
History I would guess
The first one they showed, on tape-delay, was the Chelsea v Liverpool match
Knock it off Giggs
Hopefully, they will show the Manc derby !
NOt pleased with United's start
We have to be dangerous and keep possession!!
Not doing either!
Useless pass by the Useless Walcott
Bit of extra noise in the Library today, no doubt from the away support.
That was an interesting effort from Valencia.
Not a good display so far for the american public...typical
USELES CROSS BY NANI
Some desperate defending by ManYoo and Jones is down hurt.
