I thought at least the 2 Daves could use a little cheering up and some of these quotes and actions are corkers. At the least you'll leave this post a little more knowledgeable about the Independiente player pictured here with the most excellent name since Major Bat Guano from "Dr. Strangelove" and possibly the reason his supermodel girlfriend left him. She should have just paid attention to his last name and saved some time.

The Guardian hacks missed the real story here - that Assman's girlfriend has run off with Blackburn Rovers' schemer David Goodwillie.
