FA Cup 4th Round Live!
Wahay! It's 4th Round time in the FA Cup and I couldn't be more excited. We start early with Stoke v. Citeh. Then there a load of interesting ties at the 10am EST hour. And we wrap it up with United v. Fulham at 12:30pm EST. If you're not watching the Cup and blogging on the LOB tomorrow, you're officially a numpty.

Morning, boys - it's bloody early but I'm back with a strong cuppa to watch the early one between Stoke and Citeh. Join me, eh?
Ruh, roh, Shaggy - it appears that there's no telly coverage of the early one. I'm off to look for a dodgy link.
Ok - here's a working link:
http://www.thefirstrow.eu/watch/165373/1/watch-stoke-city-vs-manchester-city.html
Here's the team news out of the Britannia this morning:
Stoke City: Sorensen; Shotton, Shawcross (c), Huth, Wilkinson; Kightly, Whelan, Nzonzi, Etherington; Walters, Jones. Substitutes: Nash, Owen, Crouch, Adam, Whitehead, Upson, Jerome.
Manchester City: Pantilimon; Zabaleta, Kompany (c), Lescott, Kolarov; Milner, Garcia, Barry, Silva; Dzeko, Tevez. Substitutes: Hart, Sinclair, Aguero, Rodwell, Clichy, Rekik, Lopes
Good morning, BD. I am not a numpty. I am here to join you for the fourth round of the FA Cup
Stoke vs Citeh is on FSC+. I am off to fix a strong cup of coffee.
Blimey - I've just noticed that Villa were knocked out of the FA Cup yesterday by Evil Millwall 2-1. How is the headline this morning not "Lambert Sacked" after a Weekus Horribilus for the Villans that's seen then knocked out of both the League and FA cups by Bradford and Millwall and giving up a 2-0 lead in the Brummie derby to only draw against WBA?
Morning, MUR - of course you're not a numpty. I knew you wouldn't let me down even though it's the very wee hours in Harlingen.
I'm giving Rupert Murdoch the middle finger this morning. I don't subscribe to Fox Sports Plus. I don't need to - I've got Fox Sports Bite Me!
Ta, BD. It's 6:40 and still dark, but we normally get up at this time.
Nice One, BD. He deserves the middle finger and more. He deserves a hazardous kick
Wonder if it's "Kick a Ballboy" Day at the Britannia?
BLOODY HELL! The Brittania is half empty for a repeat of the 2011 final
Teams coming out at the Britannia now. This appears to be ITV coverage that I'm watching with Gareth Southgate, Lee Dixon and Monkey Boy Reid in the studio.
They can kick the Citeh players fine with me. Did you get the email from me showing which matches Hazard will miss? On "gardening leave" through the end of February except for the Europa League matches.
Extraordinary given that they're required to give 10K seats to the away side and Citeh have brought all 10K. Couldn't Stoke fans fill up the rest?
There is only one announcer on plus and I am not sure who he is?
I think the empty seats were Citeh fans. It was primarily one section.
I did, mate, but I got back late last night and didn't have the strength to respond - just crashed.
Citeh have Frankenstein in goal. He was horrible in the Charity Shield. Stoke should test him early with plenty of crosses and long shots. He is good for a drop or two.
They're off from the Brittania!
We're off from the Britannia....
The only way Hazard can play at Citeh is if Chelsea draw at Brentford tomorrow and win the replay. I don't expect that
UWS is obviously still tucked up in bed this morning. Or off walking the dog, so to speak.
I don't think Chelski will miss Hazard that much - he's been out of form since his early season run.
When we chatted Wednesday, do you remember me predicting a Millwall victory?
Probably so. I wonder if he will be sold at the end of the season.
Huth with a bit of a hoof - boom boom.
Too cold to walk the dog. He is probably tucked up on a warm morning
BOOM BOOM HUFF HUFF!
I do remember that, MUR - and I don't think I disagreed with you either. How is Lambert still in his job this morning? What is Randy Lerner doing?
Overcooked cross by Ryan Shotton. His forte is long throws.
Slightly warmer here today - we're at 16F now and it will get up to a balmy high of 24 this afternoon.
You stated that you think he's on till the end of the season. In that case Villa must be favorites for relegation.
Sorry to hear that it has been really frigid. Hope you have been staying warm. I will not state the state of our weather. I will keep me mouth shut on that one.
Oh, yeah - no worries on that score. This apartment is easy to heat.
Sorensen pushes a shot from Tev around the near post for a corner.
Will have the LUFC blankie on tomorrow morning.
A Citeh short corner as Jerko mis controls, but Citeh win a free kick
The free kick from Kolorov is blasted well over.
David Platt seems to be sharing an inside joke with Roberto on the bench.
We had to turn on the AC Thursday afternoon for the first time since Christmas Day. It ran yesterday afternoon too for a few spells.
Not a lot of quality on display so far in this first ten minutes.
I noticed that too. The previous too meetings between these clubs at the Brittania have finished 1-1. I wouldn't be surprised if the same happened today
No argument here. It might open up, but I was expecting a cagey affair.
Well it's clear that Stoke have set out mainly to frustrate Citeh and nick a goal from a set piece.
Sorenson's goal hasn't really been threatened yet.
Sorry for my absence. The morning coffee kicked in. Did I miss anything
Just that one save from Tev and that was routine
You wouldn't need the Leeds blankie if you were visiting this weekend
Not a sausage, mate. This one has been incredibly dull. The coffee is the only thing keeping me awake.
Dzeko with the first real half chance for Citeh - shot blocked by Shawcross.
Oh - Silva hits the post with a lovely curler. Stoke fell asleep at the short corner.
Morning Fellas
I have your link on but I can't seem to close the damn commercial on the screen.. can't find the close x
elictrifying run down the left by Tev as he easily skipped past Shawcross , but Jerko took too long to shoot and hos shot was blocked and as I typed a shot from Silva came off the post from a short free kick. Nice curling effort.
Found it
Good morning, UWS. I am watching on plus. Sorry I can't be of assistance.
There's a link that says "close" at about 10 o'clock on the screen, UWS. Click on that.
How is Paul Lambert still in a job by the way
Morning, mate - how was your week?
Will anyone be up for the early West London Derby tomorrow? Kickoff at 6 AM CST
Oh - some crazy ping pong stuff in the Stoke area but Tevez shanks the final effort. Citeh starting to turn the screw.
Curling effort by Tev was wide off a great Citeh passing sequence.
Yeah - I should be around for that one. All eyes on that cracker at Elland Road tomorrow, though.
I just turned on a SS link... better than the match!
Even though they will do their best to ignore the FA Cup
http://www.thefirstrow.eu/watch/165370/1/watch-soccer-saturday.html
Plus is showing Norwich vs Luton at 10 AM. The second consecutive East Anglian Derby for the Canaries. It used to be a top flight derby
The match at ER should be the top one. I will definitely support you for that one.
It's Brighton v. Arsenal on FSC and then some Lancashire side against Fulham in the late one.
We have been asking ourselves the same question about Lambert, UWS. We think there's something in his contract that he's on till the end of the season, so I guess they will be in the Championship next season.
They're talking about Leeds Spurs
We had Spurs in the 4th round two years ago and performed heroics to get a draw at Shite Fart, JB earning a penalty late on and then cooly slotting it home.
That Lancashire side play the away leg at Craven Cottage next Saturday!
http://www.dailystar.co.uk/football/view/295204/Don-t-Becc-out-of-big-deal/
Stoke finally have a set piece oipportunity
Yes - I can only imagine that Randy Lerner has guaranteed him that his plan is to give him until the end of the season.
Shawcross bundles in a rebound but he is flagged offside.
Bugger... Stoke have a goal correctly chalked off for offside
It's in the back of the net as Shawcross bundled home , but the offside flag went up . The original free kick from Etherington was not cleared
What's your opinion of the Wilfred Zaha move to OT, UWS?
Hope Becchio doesn't go. I was thinking he might go to Sotton since they just hired an Argie gaffer
He won't play for United till August because he was sent on loan to Palace till the end of the season.
It's just a matter of time, now. If the player wants off then it's difficult to hang on to him.
I didn't see where Kompany fouled Jones.
Decent volley by whelan that's not far off. It all started with a long free kick
The transfer deadline is Wednesday , so I think Becchio will be at ER through the end of the season. I was just thinking that there would be an Argie connection at St. Mary's
Kompany hobbles off. Will that be it for him?
I don't really know anything of Zaha... never seem him play
They're talking about Becchio right now. THey are surprised he is wanting to go
It was an awkward landing on his ankle.
Looks like Kompany rolled his ankle there - that can be painful.
Well - as long as the club doesn't have real ambitions to push on, we're going to lose our best players.
Merse thinks if Cardiff buy him, they would be stonewall to go up
Jeff says they have turned down three offers from abroad
Zaha will probably be a replacement for one of two UWS favorites. Either Nani or Valencia. The wily SAF is keeping them on their toes and telling them to shape up of ship out as a replacement has already been signed.
I agree with Merse.
Lescott concedes a corner.
I guess he will. I don't think we really need a winger!
I am just not a fan of Valencia this year... he's been pants!
The corner from etherington is headed away. Time for a long throw.easily cleared
Mancini rolling the dice by not sticking someone on straight away.
I agree - you've got Ashley Young, Nani, Valencia, Giggs - even Wellbeck can play wide.
I think he was signed as SAF wants to get rid of both Valencia and Nani and sees him as a ready made replacement. I agree that a winger was not our priority
We need a central defender or three!
Nice ,teasing cross fropm Tev , but Kolorov and Jerko fail to connect. Cithe back to eleven players as Clichy is on for Kompany
Citeh have converted to a back three now that Clichy has come on.
His first action is to concede an unnecessary corner.
Frankentstein with an odd punch from that corner by etherington.
A like the post made yesterday. Great picture! Nice being the gaffer!
I wasn't sure which one of you guys was who!
Both looked a bit out of shape
Not too impressed with MUR owning a BLUE ball!!!!!
One minute of stoppage time as Stroke finally play the short passing game before coughing it up. Citeh do the same.
THis one's petering out - and so am I. Off to spend a few minutes on the magic couch.
We had a kickabout and were a bit shagged. Elizabeth brought the ball.
Half time... love to see City be knocked out
Halftime and 0-0. I think one goal will settle this tie
I've got four bloody windows open on my computer!
BBC, LOB, SS and the match
It's a catch 22. If Citeh get knocked out they only have to concentrate on the league.A tough call.
That's a lot of windows. Then why own a MAC!Three is the max for yours truly. I only have LOB open at this time.
Fa Cup highlights have been played To Beethoven's Fifth! LOVELY!
The second half is underway from the Brittania
Javi Garcia is down injured. it appeared that he fouled Glen whelan
No It was Whelan. Is he off. It was a two footed lunge. No action from Webbie. ODD!
Jerko had a shot deflected for a corner then Barry shot over from the corner.
Whelan fouling Javi Garcia: Garcia scored his first Citeh goal at the Brittania earlier this season while Whelan is a Citeh reject intent on leaving his mark
Fred is posing more of a threat to my English muffins than either team is to a goal threat
Tame effort by Kightly straight at Frankenstein.Naughty by Ryan Shotton on Tev and he is booked. it was not as bad as the foul by Whelan
Horrible cross from the LUFC Academy. He has done naught today
Bob will be hoping for the same tomorrow.
Whelan takes a short free kick and a cross from Kightly is headed out for a corner. Shawcross is called for a foul
Miles over from Kolorov. That would have been fine in rugger, but this is footer.
A draw suits me as that is an extra match for Citeh
UWS and BD are not missing anything. it's been a horrible second half. Even worse than the first
nice cross by Jerko and Kolorov volleys wide.
Whelan straight at the Transylvanian keeper from long range . It all started with a short throw.
Citeh with their second change as Aguero is on for Kolorov. Mancini going for the win
I'm back from a lovely half-time power nap. I do see that I've missed nowt.
Oh - Barry was nearly in there but Sorenson did his job.
Nice long ball from Silva for Barry as he was through with just Sorensen to beat, but he miss controlled and the Danish keeper easily gathered.
Hey Boys,
I am back from clearing the driveway of a couple inches of snow and taking the dog for a walk
Welcome back, BD. Back just in time as that was the best move of the second half. You missed NOTHING!
Welcome back, UWS. Hope you warm up. You missed nothing other than Mr. Overrated not knowing how to trap a ball.
Kightly to come off for a bit more firepower up front. Cam Jerome to come on. Stoke going for it.
Cameron Jerome on for Michael Kightly. Frankenstein gathers a Stoke cormer
I am now on Skype with "EX-Chelskilad"
He says hello to everyone
Citeh too as Aguero came on for Kolorov.
Hello ex Cheklski Lad. What will be his new name?
Useless LUFC Academy corner. Bob will hope to type the same tomorrow!
High and wide from Tev
Tev tries one but it doesn't curl enough.
A slightly better match since BD and UWS returned.I did expect a cagey affair.
Bit of a shock from Tony this week giving up on his beloved Blues. Ask him if he's a Spurs fan now?
Walters heads over as wilkinson did well to keep the ball in play and get in a cross.
This one feels like a 0-0er. I don't know why Citeh want the extra match.
I think he is disenchanted with some of the goings on that have given them negative publicity. Wednesday must have been the straw that broke the camel's back
Credit to Stoke for making it difficult for Citeh. perhaps a late winner in the works!
Citeh scored around this time in the 2011 Final
Dean Whitehead on for Wilmkinson and Peter Crouch on for Kenwyne Jones and that is the final throw of the dice from Tony Pulis. Like for like as both changes were probably made due to fatigue.
Curled just wide by Jerko as it was deflected for a corner.
Head tennis in the box and finally cleared from the corner.
Have Citeh made any changes since that early one that was forced by Kompany's injury?
Clichy wins a corner off of Cameron Jerome. Nioce possession.
Yes. Aguero came on for Kolorov.
Into the side netting by Aguero and it's another corner.
Shawcross and Dzeko now having some words.
Citeh upping the tempo as they have one change remaining.Sorensen fumbles the corner from Silva as Stoke clear and LUFC Academy is booked for a foul on Etherington
Milner gets a yellow card. Took one for the team there. Robbie Savage got into some trouble by advocating the professional foul on the program last weekend.
Citeh appear to be going for it. Stoke playing for the draw.I guess they are hoping it goes to pens at the Etihad.
Poor by Robbie Savage. That's the last thing we need to hear after everything that has been going on this season.
Does Robbie think it's worth to play the remainder of a a match a man down?
Oh - Crouch had a chance there but didn't get over the header. Case of "White Men Can't Jump" there.
Headed over by Crouchie from a cross by Ryan Shotton.
BOOM BOOM ,BD! Wesley Snipes would be proud.
Aguero took too long to shoot and his shot was easily blocked by Shawcross.
He was commenting on a Championship level match - I forget which - where a player had a chance to break up an attack that led to a goal and didn't. He thought the player should have fouled and taken a yellow "for the team." He didn't consider it cheating. Loads of fans called in to complain.
Citeh lolok to make their final change as Rodwell is about to come on. Another Young Jack
GOAL! Zaba puts the knife in!
GOAL !!!! 0-1 CITEH AS ZABALETTA SCORES WITH A GREAT FINISH
The best move of the second half, through Silva and Tev. They got a bit lucky when the ball clipped Dzeko's heel and broke for Zaba to stab home at the back post.
0-1 Citeh!
Mancini immediately responds by putting Jack Rodwell on for Tev to hang on to this lead.
Dzeko kicks the ball away and gets a yellow. Silly boy!
I knew that goal was coming.... Tony told me... he's a minute ahead of me!
Are you guys watching FSC's FA Cup quiz?
Gareth Barry has gone down after an off the ball incident.
I am doing well on the predictions, predicting a Millwall victory and a late winner today
No - I missed the quiz, UWS. Watching now. It's Waldo, Warren and Rob Stone having a chat now.
Oh - Cam Jerome had a chance there but panicked and blazed over.
A late long throw for Stoke.Headed down by Crouch and miles over by Cameron Jerome. five minutes of stoppage time.
Tony answers your previous... he's a NOTHING FAN
He does like Spurs because he likes the way they play
He also likes the manager
He has a soft spot for United because of me but he gets irritated by SAF for being too powerful
I missed the quiz too. I must have been fixing brekkies. Fred thought it was for home. Just like the Potters he lost out
Fergie has called David DeGea's critics "idiots." Your thoughts, gents?
How about Cambridge United or Braintree Town? More grass roots!
Tony is always welcome up to Yorkshire to support a club with real tradition and sportsmanship.
He's trying to"protect the player." A lot like Raffa on Wednesday
Warnock and sportsmanship???
Here's the quiz
1. What year did Giggs score that goal against Arsenal?
2. What former manager of Macclesfield has won the Cup twice?
3. What team outside the top tier was the last team to beat Chelsea?
4. Who's last minute goal prevented Oldham from making the Cup Final?
5. What player on Everton was the last player to win the Cup?
Great tackle by Sorensen on Aguero,. Citeh deserve their win. They have been the better team and were more positive
Well put MUR!
Watching the Evil Millwall goals. Nice effort from Danny Shittu who apparently isn't that shittu.
On FSC, there will be a classic Match of the Week tussle between Norwich and Luton!
Citeh have won... bugger!
That's it and as in the 2011 final Citeh defeat Stoke 1-0. A similar match too.
I will watch both matches!
