Lakenheath Old Boys
We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

The team news is in at Loftus Road, and Chris Samba is straight into the QPR side, even though he's not fully fit:
QPR: Cesar; Fabio, Samba, Hill, Traoré, Wright-Phillips, Derry, Mbia, Townsend, Taarabt, Mackie. Subs: Green; Park, Granero, Jenas, Ben Haim, Zamora, Bothroyd.
Norwich: Bunn, Martin, Johnson, Bassong, Turner, Snodgrass, Holt, Pilkington, Hoolahan, Garrido, Tettey. Subs: Camp, Whittaker, Howson, Jackson, E Bennett, Becchio, R Bennett.
Our fair Luciano starts on the bench behind the likes of Wes Hoolahan. What's the point of that?
Norwich start in 14th, relatively safe, while QPR must win this match in order to increase the pressure on those clubs around them.
QPR get us going on this early morning. Andros Townsend starts his first match in the Premiership. Both players are involved early as Taraabt has a go from distance.
Oh - Norwich went those. Snoddy does Traore and whips a great ball in to Hoolahan at the near post. Couldn't control it.
Townsend does well down the left but can't find a QPR striker. They do seem to be missing a big target like Loic Remy, who's out injured today.
Oh - Taraabt bursts through a couple of tackles and fizzes a shot just left of the post. Something out of nothing.
Looks like Pilkington has done his hammy - might be an early introduction for Luciano.
Taraabt wriggles his way into the Norwich area and then feeds Mackie who pulled his shot rashly.
First chance for Chris Samba to come up for a corner. He is a threat, but that near post corner won't really do the job.
Pilkington is still hobbling about trying to run off his hammy pull.
PIlkington finally comes off but it's not Becchio on. Bennett instead.
QPR are at least winning a few corners but they haven't got the deliveries right. I seem to remember Samba scoring quite a few from corners at Blackburn.
Oh - Hoolahan with a good ball in and Snoddy gets the header on it. He never really played through the center like that at Leeds but he's Norwich's top scorer this season.
Oh dear - SWP should have done better with that chance. He sliced it horribly.
Route 1 from Norwich there and Grant Holt nearly gets in. Mbiwa holds him back and gets a yellow card.
Snoddy takes the free kick but gets it all wrong - well wide.
Michael Turner has had to come off for treatment on a bloodied nose.
Decent chance for QPR to swing a free kick in to the big boys now.
Good delivery toward Samba but Norwich had three defenders on him. Out for a corner.
Nearly half-time now at Loftus Road. Nothing really solved for either side. A point's okay for Norwich who will stay just below the middle of the table but not enough for the Rangers.
Norwich get us started in this second half. Both sides seemed to play not to lose in the first half.
Oh - great free kick in from Taraabt but with no real center forwards about today, no one was on hand to nod home.
Oh - Julio Cesar saves brilliantly at point blank range from Hoolahan. The big keeper kept his side in it.
Oh - QPR just about survive again. Great defending by Fabio and then Samba. Norwich turning up the heat just for a few minutes.
The ineffectual SWP coming off and Bobby Zamora to come on.
And Zamora has had a very quick effect. Goes down under a challenge from Bunn. Soft but it's a penalty.
Taraabt to take a vital penalty here...SAVED!
Oh dear.
Brilliant save there from a good penalty. Bunn did really well. That could be a big point of the QPR season.
Michael Turner hacks Mackie on the edge of the box and Taraabt has a quick opportunity to make amends.
Oh - just over from Taraabt.
Oh - Taraabt did really well to get a shot off and Bunn could only parry it as it swerved toward him. Mackie couldn't get on to the rebound.
Sixty minutes in now and still no Becchio.
Snoddy to swing a corner in...and again.
Fans not happy with some rugged Norwich tackling. Tettey picks up a yellow.
Oh - Grant Holt saves off the line from Samba's header.
The booked Mbiwa has been replaced by debutante Jermaine Jenas.
Norwich could still nick this one and that would be a disaster for QPR.
Fifteen minutes left now....
What on earth is Tel Ben Haim doing at QPR? Honestly!
Unless there is one moment of magic here, this one is destined to be a 0-0 draw.
Oh - Snoddy rips one that just goes wide right. The resulting corner is cleared out.
Zamora picks up a great free kick - Turner gets a yellow...finally.
Jenas takes and there was a suspicion of a handball in there. Could easily have been another penalty.
And now another booking - Bassong. Norwich certainly have been rugged today. They've earned their point the hard way.
And there it is - Luciano Becchio's Premiership debut. Unfortunately for Norwich rather than for Leeds. Still - love the guy - wish him well.
Norwich now have the full LUFC complement. Jonny Howson on for a late cameo.
Into stoppage time now...
Well - that's it. Harry Houdini has been winning some points for QPR but they're still rooted to the bottom. They needed three points rather than one really.

The new look Newcastle have made a quick start here and the fans are enjoying a good booing session at Demba Ba.
Some quick goals in the Premiership. Benteke has scored in the first minute for Villa against Everton at Goodison. Could be a vital goal for the Villans.
Reading have also taken the lead early on at the Madjeski.
Not a Big Club have scored early on against Brighton.
Lovely - Hull are 0-1 up early on to Evil Millwall.
Burnley are also 0-1 up early on at Posh.
Charlton are 0-1 up at high flying Palace - more good news for us.
Leeds have had the quicker start at ER according to the SS reporter. We need a goal!
Oh - Santon volleys sweetly just by the post. Newcastle nearly 1-0 up.
Everton have equalized at Goodison.
Barnsley are now 0-1 up - lots of away leads in the Championship.
Derby have taken the lead against Huddersfield.
Gary Caldwell has put Wigan 1-0 up over Soton now.
Sunderland have a chance to get back into things at the Madjeski through a penalty. Gardner to take...1-1!
That drops Reading back down into the dropzone again.
Oh - Demba comes really close to scoring against his old paymasters. Great save by Krul.
Jordan Rhodes has scored for Blackburn against woeful Bristol City.
Bolton are now 0-1 up at Watford. A lot of the top clubs in the Championship struggling today.
Brighton are now down to ten men!
Not a Big Club have also scored a second goal!
And Derby are now 2-0 up through Jamie Ward.
Demba Ba is now struggling off after having been kicked in the head by Coloccini.
Watford have leveled it at Vicarage Road.
Villa continue to lead at Goodison Park through that Gabby Ag goal.
Loverly - Ipswich have taken the lead against Boro. Wahay!
GOAL! Jonas Gutierrez has opened the scoring at St. James' with a lovely header from Santon's cross. Good goal!
1-0 Newcastle!
Looks like Demba Ba is going to be unable to continue. Fernando Torres to come off. Ba is getting booed off.
Brum have taken the lead against Forest - lovely.
These excellent results now have us in 10th, only five points out of the playoff spots. A win might have us only three out and with a match in hand. Cor!
We're back on for the second halves now. Hoping for a goal for the SuperWhites at Elland Road soon.
We're back on for the second halves now. Hoping for a goal for the SuperWhites at Elland Road soon.
We're back on for the second halves now. Hoping for a goal for the SuperWhites at Elland Road soon.
Wigan, Villa and Newcastle all winning - not a good day for QPR.
Ian Dowie still thinks we're making most of the running.
GOAL! What a cracker from Lamps!
1-1!
It's his 10th goal of the season. He's scored at least 10 goals in each of the last 10 seasons. As a midfielder, that is an outstanding effort. Great strike!
Wahay - the Tractor Boys are really doing us a favor. 3-0 up now!
Brighton have got one back against Not a Big Club.
Nearly the hour mark - surely time for some changes at Elland Road. I'd like to see the look of this new kid Habib Habibou. Steve Morison not even on the bench!
Wednesday have scored again - 3-1!
Wow - Villa have scored again. 1-3 at Goodison. What a great result for them!
Derby now 3-0 up over woeful Huddersfield. Great idea to sack Simon Grayson, obviously.
GOAL! Chelski are in front now - Mata!
Great left footed strike when the ball came back out to him from Torres.
Big ruck in the center circle now between Cashley and Cisse. Yellows all round.
On the replay, Cisse clearly put his hands up and should have been sent off. Lucky boy!
Oh - great run by Oscar and he served one up for Mata. Ballooned this one over.
Oh - great run by Oscar and he served one up for Mata. Ballooned this one over.
BUGGGGGGEEEERRRRRR!
Cardiff have gone 0-1 up at Elland Road. Campbell with the goal.
That drops us down into the lower half. 13th.
Posh levels it against Burnley.
We need two quick goals now. Come on, you Whites!
It ends one-nil to Arsenal. Even the worst efforts of the Stoke linesman couldn't lift the orcs past us. I can't believe that after that performance, our boys were lining up to shake his slimy hand.
But goodness triumphed with Poldi's Jeff Cameron deflected late free kick. I'd have liked to see Wilkinson pick up a yellow much earlier than he did because he tattooed Theo all-game long until late when finally he got a yellow. Case in point that Stoke truly is evil, Michael Owen punched Arteta after a tackle. I've never seen him react that way, but half-a-season in Mordor will have its effects.
Nacho's debut was very good, but late on he looked tired. I hope he can pick up his fitness a bit. Diaby had a good 65 minutes too. Wilshire and Giroud were great too.
