We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

Evening, MUR - it's been an extra long but productive day of meetings teaching and IKEA assembly. So, I am feeling rather Belizey to be in your company and looking forward to a cracking match. Bring it on!

Trevor Lennan booked for a foul on Landy. Initially , I thought it was poor by U.S. players asking for a red , but the replay shows that they had a point. Lennan is a lucky boy.

Orio fumbles the corner , then they block to shots before the ref stops play as Trapp is down injured as he blocked a shot with his abdomen.

So what's your feeling about this performance, mate? Can anything be learned from it or is it just a one-off against weak opposition?
Despite the score , I am sort of disappointed with the U.S. performance. For large spells of the match Belize were actually competitive.
That is true - and giving up a free header for their goal was unforgivable.

It's over and the U.S. defeat Belize 6-1. Despite the core I am not convinced.
