Time to Stop the Rot, Brian!
After four losses, including a 6-0 drubbing at the hands of local rivals Not a Big Club, it's well and truly time for Brian McDermott and his Leeds side to pull their fingers out and stop the rot. Unfortunately, we're hosting top of the table Leicester City at Elland Road this morning. That means that we'll have the television cameras on us. Join me on BEin and here on the LOB for all of the scrutiny this morning from 7:15am onward.

Good morning Bob. I have the telly on BEIN. You and Brian might be interested to note that they are showing an infomercial on non surgical hair re-growth.
Morning, MUR - I really appreciate you waking up with the chickens this morning to follow the match with me. I'm about to turn over to BEin right now.
The teams about to head out of the tunnel now:
Leeds - Kenny, Byram, Lees, Pearce, Warnock, Kebe, Brown, Austin, Stewart, Varney, Ross.
Subs - Peltier, Murphy, Spitty, Wootton, Poleon, Cairns, Mowatt.
Leicester - Schmeichel, de Laet, Morgan, Moore, Konchesky, Knockaert, Drinkwater, James, Dyer, Nugent, Vardy.
Subs - Hammond, King, Logan, Mahrez, Wasilewski, Phillips, Wood.
Cheers mate. Fred is up too. Already had his brekkies.
The Brian McDermott Hair Loss special is over and now we've got the teams in the tunnel at Elland Road. Wahay!
Who's Fred supporting this morning?
Your Whites will need to beat an old friend in the form of Kasper.
This announcer sounds as if he's never watched a footie match before. Yikes!
Not sure. He's on top of the cabinets staring off into space.
At least not an English mate. Probably Latin footie.
MOT!!!!!!
Super Kev on the Foxes? He's a good luck charm for teams seeking promotion.
Yeah - maybe he's usually on the Mexican footie coverage.
Thank goodness - it's an English commentator.
The Foxes may be top, but I don't see this team surviving in the Prem unless they make a ton of signings.
Crikey - I totally missed Bobby Collins passing. A moment of applause for him now. He was an Elland Road legend and some other legends, including Jack Charlton and Eddie Gray are on hand for the memorial.
A deserved moments applause for the great Bobby Collins. Former LUFC greats applauding.
I wish that team were still on display.
They're off from ER.
COME ON YOU WHITES!
The Whites get us underway. Come on!
I don't blame you. Both of our Uniteds are seventh!
Rudy Austin tries an early pop from distance but got it all wrong.
Rudy Austin with an early effort well wide. Good idea.
Brian taking notes!
Disgraceful!
Kasper getting some stick. Bob will enjoy that
Konchesky could get an early card there for hauling back Kebe. Should have been but it's an early bollocking instead.
Konchesky should have been booked for pulling back Jimmy Kebe.
I heard that.
Michael Brown's 37th birthday. He keeps going!
Michael Brown arrives late for the first of many times this afternoon. Not far away from an early card either.
Michael Brown getting stuck in on his birthday. A mark on a Foxes player or two would be a perfect present.
Oh - Vardy had a chance there but it's straight down Kenny's throat. Called back for a foul by Nugent anyway.
Oh - Ross hits the post after a lovely move and cross by Varney. That would have been the perfect start.
OH! Ross should have put Leeds in front as he headed on to the post woith a free header off a superb cross from Varney
I don't see this Foxes team surviving in the Prem. Do you?
Oh - now it's Vardy who hits the woodwork! Cracking start to this match.
OH! Now the Foxes could have scored as De Laet played through Vardy and his shot came off the post.
De Laet showing what he learned at the MUFC Academy.
Kebe wins a free kick. Warnock to take.
They'd need to invest and I think they've got the money behind them now to do so.
Oh - now Ross has a lob cleared off the line by James. And Kasper saves the second effort.
OH! Ross had a chip cleared off the line after a poor punch from Kasper then Kasper turned away a shot for a corner. The header from the corner found row L
The Foxes have a corner.
Then they might survive or a change in manager like they did at the Palace.
Varney wins a free kick off a long free kick from the back.
Poor free kick from Stewart and the Foxes win a free kick.
Ross is clearly trying to lead by example as the new captain at Leeds.
He is off to a good start
Oh - Kebe finds the side netting with a header. We've certainly had our chances this morning.
OH! Jimmy Kebe has a header land into the side netting off a great cross from Rudy Austin.
A better looking Leeds so far.
I'm really liking the look of this academy prospect Cameron Stewart.
Oh - Ross was clean through against Kasper but almost had too much time and Kasper was able to save. That should have been 1-0 Whites.
OH! Had did Ross miss that. A poor back pass from Konchesky gifted Ross a chance and shot against Kasper. Then the rebound from Varney was blocked.
Dyer wins a corner off of Austin.
The corner is headed away , but the Foxes enjoy a spell of possession.
The Leeds blankie seems to be inspiring a more lively performance this morning.
The teams met in August at the Crisps and the Whites gained a creditable 0-0 draw. That match was also on BEIN.
Well done Leeds blankie!
De Laet tries an audacious chip that sails well over the bar.
Oh - Kebe was in again but was perhaps a bit too unselfish as he tried to square it. Corner.
Oh - Lees with a free header but over the bar. Mistimed his jump.
OH! Jimmy Kebe could have passed to help put Leeds ahead as he was through after Ross won the ball in midfield and put Kebe through. The corner was headed away then Varney put on a great cross that was headed just over by Lees as Kasper missed the cross.
I think you are better off with paddy Kenny in goal then Kasper.
Sunderland vs Sotton has just kicked off.
I agree - Kasper is certainly no Premiership keeper.
SuperKev is up and warming himself.
He needs to at his age. Agreed about Kasper.
This referee is letting a lot go as Ross is manhandled.
Oh - Knockaert found a few yards in front of the box. Piled his shot over the bar into the empty seats.
an early goal for the Saints at the SOL. Jay Rodriguez with the goal
The Saints keep rolling on.
Michael Brown getting stuck in. Bob wouldn't have it any other way.
Only ten minutes left and I'm shocked that we haven't seen any goals yet.
There weren't any goals when the teams met at the Crisps in August.
Another nasty one from Brown and shockingly he still evades a card.
A birthday present from Mike Dean?
Almost into stoppage time now in the first half.
Must be, mate. Must be.
One minute of stoppage time
It's 0-0 at the half as Leeds have done well against the table toppers.
Peep peep - the teams troop off for a well deserved break. Certainly an improvement over last week but we're still only drawing.
Morning Boys
I don't have BEIN so I won't be able to comment on the Leeds match
I will say Sotton are all over Sunderland!
Back in a tick after throwing some laundry in.
My local NBC station is doing it again
I have college basketball on instead of the 12:30 match
Nice… microphone picks out SHIT being yelled!!
Commentators comment about it too
Back from a trip to the loo and am watching Sunderland vs Saints while it's halftime at ER.
Good morning UWS. Looks like the Saints are dominating, as you stated.
Are the Black Cats thinking ahead to their match on Wednesday?
Did you read some the Jose's comments this week?
He just needs to SHUT UP
I did not, but he normally makes idiotic comments. Trash talking ahead of tomorrow's match?
That should have been #2
They really need to get more goals to get what they deserve from this match
The saints should have been two up. Lambert disposed Wes Brown and put through Jay Rodriguez whose effort was easily saved by Mannone.
Jose has 'inside information" at Old Trafford
He also mentioned Rooney joining again
He will never quit Chelsea
Two nil… very very very deserved
GOAL !!! LOVEREN PUTS YTHE SAINTS TWO UP FROM A CORNER BY STEVEN DAVIS. GREAT VOLLEY.
GOAL !!! BORINI PULLS ONE BACK FOR SUNDERLAND ALMOST IMMEDIATELY.
Sunderland a goal back… they don't deserve that
The whole match could change now
Borini chested down a pass from Adam Johnson, turned, and shot into the corner.
this is the fist time Sunderland have done anything!
Jose is full of crap. He's just trash talking. He doesn't have squat.
I have switched to BEIN as the teams are heading out of the tunnel at ER.
Morning, UWS! Great to have you on board this morning.
Fans singing MOT. I second that
Leicester about to get us started again in the second half. MOT!
The second half is underway.
COME ON YOU WHITES!
No changes at the interval. Makes sense - both sides had their moments.
Knockaert deservedly booked for a trip on Warnock after Ross did well to backtrack and win a tackle in defense.
Mike Dean has decided to use his cards this half then. Knockaert the first player into the book.
Wes Morgan seemed to smack Varney straight in the face. Yellow for him too, and a free kick chance early in the second half.
Wes Morgan booked for an elbow on Varney's cheek just outside the box.
I have moved to Tom's laptop
I hope it works better than last time
He goes back to school on Tuesday
The free kick from Ross is headed out. The Brown has a long range effort tamely to Kasper
Oh - Brown manages to get a shot off - a rare goal-bound effort from him but easily gathered by Kasper.
Wishing Tom a successful semester.
Sounds like a plan, mate. Say 'hi' to Tom - hope everything's going well at Cortland.
Surely Brown wasn't expecting to score on his birthday!
The table toppers are clearly rattled.
The Leicester boys certainly putting themselves about in this second half.
Got a Soccer Saturday link going
Pass it along then, eh?
According to my calculations, Michael Brown was born the day we arrived in England.
Do you guys know where these damn invisible commercials are on the First Row link
Do you guys know where these damn invisible commercials are on the First Row link
Oh - James curls one a bit too close to the post for my liking.
But for a poor touch by Vardy, he could have been through off a pass from Nugent. James shoots wide from 25 yards out.
I have the same problem when I am on First Row.
Decent effort by Lambert
Southampton should be more than a goal ahead
Decent effort by Lambert
Southampton should be more than a goal ahead
HT at SOL
Super Kev now with his ninth club. Almost enough to be a pro golfer!
Did you see my comment that my NBC channel is doing it again for the late game
You double poster!
Tom Lees catches it in the chops from Lloyd Dyers. The Foxes have been rather naughty this half.
Saints lead 1-2 at the half at the SOL.
Off the loo
James has a shot deflected for a corner.
Poor corner from Knockaert, but he gets it back and his cross is errant too.
Sterling defensive work as usual from Rudy.
De Laet hobbling for the Foxes and may be replaced.
Another poor back pass from Konchesky, but Kasper rushes out to clear.
Wasilewski is on for the injured De Laet.
Time for a change or two now as Kebe lets one go under his foot.
Cameron Stewart has a shot deflected for a Leeds corner.
Michael Brown down injured off another typical challenge. Not the happiest of birthdays.
Now his birthday is a month away?
Kapser punches away the corner as Ross and Konchesky were shoving and pushing each other
A quarter of this match remaining now. Come on, you Whites!
Now it's Vardy into the book.
Vardy booked for a foul on Brown. Usually, its' the other way around.
Stewart has a shot deflected for a corner off a nice pass from Austin.
I just noticed that the top three championship teams all face Yorkshire clubs today.
We're off at SOL
Vardy off now and Super Kev making his debut for his 9th league club.
Super Kev makes his Foxes debut as he's on for Jaime Vardy.
still goalless?
The announcer busy with Super Kev trivia. Last scored at ER in 1999 in a 2-1 loss and the oldest player to ever make a Foxes debut.
IT still is.
Byram booked for a foul on Knockaert.
22K today - not a bad attendance.
VaRNEY WENTDOWN RATHER EASILY AS HE WONA FREE KICK OFF OF WASILEWSKI.
THE final roll of the dice for Nigel Pearson as Andy King is on for Lloyd Dyer.
Yes. A decent attendance.
This one smells like a 0-0er now after that initial exciting start. I suppose I can't complain given the opposition and our recent form.
Decent break by Southampton
I would love some these attacking players at OT
OH! The subs combined as Andy King was inches over off a pass from super Kev.
Ping pong in the box off the corner from Knockaert and over by wes Morgan
Spitty and Peltier coming on for Kebe and Varney. Fairly attacking move.
Liam Moore down for the Foxes , who have used their allotted substitutions. He collided with the post off the corner
Lee Peltier on for Jimmy Kebe and Spitty on for Varney as Brian makes a double substitution.
BUGGGGERRRRR!!!!
Nugent has stolen it for the Foxes. GRRRRR!
DAMN IT! DAVID NUGENT APPEARS TO HAVE WON IT FOR THE FOXES.
We'll stay 11th but Hudders will have a chance later on to leapfrog us with a point against QPR.
We've got a few minutes now to grab an equalizer. Come on!
We're piling on the pressure now.
Sorry mate
Brian not looking well pleased with that. It'll be our fifth loss on the bounce.
Fabio Borini has got a goal back for Sunderland.
definitely an undeserved lead. Liam Moore, who had been injured, made a run down the right. David Nugent turned Tom Lees as he got the pass and scored with a nice finish past Paddy Kenny. HIs 17th League goal of the season and thirteenth in the last thirteen league matches.
Four minutes of stoppage time now. Grrrr!
Four minutes of stoppage timer.
It's Leeds time.
Cam Stewart trying to fashion an opening but nothing doing.
Sunderland get it in the net but the flag is up
Borini didn't know it
Cheers, mate! We need the full-on mojo.
Oh dear - Warnock has ballooned that free kick well over the bar.
Correct decision
Sorry Bob, but Leeds can take a great deal of credit from this performance despite the score./
I took nearly three hours to break the deadlock between these two teams.
I will; it's a better performance for sure but still no points. Grrr!
a Poor touch from Spitty and that should do it. It does as it's 1-0 to the Foxes. An undeserved win for the league ladders . Sorry mate.
I have witched to NBCSN for the match at the SOL.
Midway through the second half and the Saints still lead 1-2.
Sorry Bob
Johnson ties it up with a cracker
GOAL !!!! ADAM JOHNSON SCORES WITH A STUNNING STRIKE TO MAKE IT DESMOND.
Keeper should have saved that!
Sunderland should be way behind in this game!
Sunderland could go up to 15th
They were doomed a few weeks ago
A great strike, but Boruc should have done better. The move started with the keeper. Alonso played Ki down the left. His pass went behind Colback, but made it to Johnson, who scored with a wonder strike.
