Thanks for posting the line-ups, UWS. I'm not happy at all about the conservative approach that Sabella has opted for. Why leave the talents of Gago and Higuain on the bench in favor of destroyers such as Mascherano? Surely Argentina can roll these Bosnians.

I was about to note that the Argies looked a bit short, and that I did not see them being much of an aerial threat on set pieces. Now it's 1-0.

That's a lot of own goals for the tourney so far. It's as if Chelsea were playing (especially during Mou's reign, it seemed that every second goal they scored was a deflection own goal).
Now a chance for Bosnia to respond.
Pijanic has a free kick headed away for a corner that is cleared.
Unfortunately, this is a rubbish group. There is no need for Bosnia to even tie this game, so I am not sure that falling behind will necessarily draw them out more.
The ESPN crew especially Casey Keller were numpties today. A definite OG by the Honduras keeper.

Bosnia almost in there… why wasn't #11 following up
Gooner has just gone to check the sausages, saying "don't let them score again while I'm gone" and the Bosnians promptly launch a long ball that Hajrovic nearly got onto.
Misimovic fouled just outside the box by Masch after Mihalovic chipped the ball over the defense and the keeper did well to block from Jerko.

Pjanic does well to dispossess Messi there. Still no real magic from the little man.
Is it too late to change my pick of Argentina in the final? They look very tentative for the moment, and have great difficulty advancing the ball with much purpose. Messi is dribbling way too much. The defense was very static on that dangerous chance a few minutes back.
I wish he had the rest of the World Cup off.

I cannot believe how many crosses I have seen this tourney that manage to squeak through the crowd and hit the ground. It really shows the new mentality of the defenders who are focused foremost on obstructing their opponents. Often this leads to noone being responsible for actually heading the damn thing out.

The most damming indictment I can make of Argentina is that they are playing like England at the last few World Cups.
They all look unfit, slow and out of ideas.
