It's All Happening This Weekend
Step right up, LOBers, for the greatest show on earth. As each weekend ticks by, the domestic leagues get more exciting. This morning, we got the fight for the Premier League title, the Championship title and the FA Cup on tap. It all starts in a moment, with a key match between current table toppers Norwich City and QPR, who have just sacked The Wally with the Brolly. It continues with the usual 10am fixtures, including my beloved Leeds United visiting Birmingham City. And finally, we wrap up at the end of the day with Citeh's FA Cup semi-final against Brighton. Join me for a cuppa this morning, won't you?

Teams coming out at Carrow Road now:
Norwich manager Daniel Farke has picked the same starting XI for the eighth consecutive game, so he has. QPR’s caretaker manager John Eustace makes five changes.
Norwich City (4-2-3-1) Krul; Aarons, Zimmerman, Godfrey, Lewis; Trybull, McLean; Buendia, Stiepermann, Hernandez; Pukki.
Substitutes: McGovern, Vrancic, Leitner, Rhodes, Klose, Hanley, Cantwell.
Queens Park Rangers (4-1-4-1) Lumley; Rangel, Furlong, Lynch, Bidwell; Cameron; Wszolek, Cousins, Freeman, Eze; Wells.
Substitutes: Ingram, Leistner, Scowen, Manning, Osayi-Samuel, Hemed, Smith.
Referee Scott Duncan.
We're away and QPR are on the front foot. If they could just nick a draw here, all bets would be off.
Timo Pukki, the Canaries' leading scorer, bursts through and tests Lumley from an acute angle.
GOAL! That didn't take too long. A great cross ball from Godrey to Aarons who found the Argentinian schemer Guendia in the box. Easy finish into the bottom left corner.
Norwich 1-0 up.
QPR's caretaker manager John Eustace looks a bit shellshocked. His team would seem on a hiding to nothing this morning.
(Sigh).... Stieperman makes it 2-0 and this one seems lost.
Dreadful defending from QPR there. Geoff Cameron should hang his head in shame. And goalkeeper Lumley will want that one back.
Norwich have opened up an eight point lead now with us in second and a ten point lead with Sheffield United in third.
Norwich are slicing QPR open at every attack.
Morning Bob
All eyes on the Championship today....and the Cup semis....I am going to have the Leeds match on AppleTv and not the Newcastle/Palace match
Just tuned it in... WHAT THE HELL ARE RANGERS WEARING!?!?!
Blue and white hoops don't clash with yellow and green!!
Canaries should have been three up there!
Morning, boys - how are you?
Hope Leeds can do their job at St Andrews.... Blades have a tough one at Deepdale.... FINGERS CROSSED
The commentator described QPR's kit as "garish" at the beginning of the match. That's putting it mildly!
All we need to do is keep up with Sheffield United from here on out. Norwich are running away with the title at this point. I can't see them dropping five points.
QPR forced to make an early substitution. Nothing's going right for them today.
Oh - the dangerous Buedia nearly squeezed a third in at the near post. Lumley just kept it out.
Decent hit from Angel Rangel. Krul saved at the post.
THREE NIL Canaries.... this could be a cricket score!
And Pukki makes it 3-0 after some suicidal defending from QPR.
Morning Bob
I'll take Norwich AND Leeds going up... a gap is going to grow today
Bolton host Ipswich today
The match was in doubt because of "critical failure of the stadium's IT system"
The match is going ahead
What a nightmare season for the Tractor Boys... going down AND Norwich going up
QPR's bench is wearing GREEN what the hell!!
Half time at Carrow Road. Sadly, this one is over.
We're back on at Carrow Road at the start of the second half. This one seems over.
I am off for walkies... Shadow won't leave me alone!
Walking in the SNOW.... got a few inches yesterday!
WOW! Nothing here, mate. Enjoy your walkies with Shadow.l
QPR giving it a go here, and why not?
Oh - Krul has to save sharply at the right post. Nearly a goal back for Rangers.
Oh - nearly a fourth for Norwich. Just deflected over the bar from Stieperman.
Wow! Buendia has been sent off! Norwich down to ten men!
Come on, QPR! Four goals in the last fifteen minutes. Is that too much to ask?
Delia Smith is enjoying the proceedings in the stands.
(Sigh)....Pukki converts Norwich's fourth.
I am back as Pukki scores the Canaries' fourth and now gets a standing ovation being subbed
Welcome back, mate. How was the walkies?
Pukki becomes only the 14th Norwich City player to score 25 goals in a season. I'll bet Justin Fashanu is another.
Oh - Osay-Samuel had a chance for a consolation goal. Blessed it wildly over the bar.
Kate is horrified by Pukki's goal celebration of picking the wedgie out of his bum.
Norwich are TEN points clear of third. Surely they are up....their run in is good
They win
Have you told Kate of our times at Carrow Road? Especially the Vill match
Turne on NBCSN for the build up to the Prem matches but will put the Leeds match on the telly at ten
Norwich wrap up a 4-0 win. I was always dreaming to think that QPR might help us out. No matter - we just need to win.
Wednesday play Villa today
Brucie vs the team that fired him
Villa on a big roll....five wins in a row... in the top six
Brucie unbeaten in the league with Wednesday
Problem with ESPN+, it is delayed by quite a lot... I get updates on my phone before I see it
I'm back for the big one. No - not the Premiership. Those matches are all a bit rubbish today, with mostly mid table sides competing. It's Birmingham and Leeds and it's on the Plus. Come on, you Whites!
Just saw that the Bayern/Dortmund match is on regular Fox
Wow - when was the last time that happened?
Good Morning, Bob and Dave. I had a late lie in , nut am ready for the matches on Plus
In case. you're wondering, it's the Toon vs Palace on NBCSN. The winner should be all but safe
Premier League
Morning David
Welcome back, MUR!
A visit to St. Andrews against former Leeds boss, Garry Monk.
COME ON YOU WHITES!
I agree with you about the ESPN+ coverage, UWS. I fear more and more of the coverage moving to streaming outlets.
Cheers, Bob and Dave. Glad to join you for the morning action.
I agree. I've been telling everyone that. It seems that television may become obsolete in the future.
I am going to tune in the Prem match on NBCSN website
Coverage of the Leeds match just starting!
Wahay! The coverage has started on the Plus.
Of course, Brum in relegations trouble because of the nine point reduction
COME ON LEEDS
Teams coming out at SJP
Back from the bog in a match Leeds must win after the earlier result.
The team news out of St. Andrews:
Leeds United: Casilla, Ayling, Cooper, Jansson, Alioski, Phillips, Klich, Roberts, Hernandez, Harrison, Bamford. Subs: Peacock-Farrell, Forshaw, Roofe, Dallas, Berardi, Shackleton, Clarke.
Birmingham City: Camp, Pedersen, Colin, Kieftenbeld, Mahoney, Adams, Jutkiewicz, Dean, Maghoma, Gardner, Morrison. Subs: Trueman, Roberts, Vassell, Mrabti, Jota, Davis, Harding.
Of course, Leeds taking on their old boss
Great to see Kemar Roofe back on the bench for the first time since January. I wasn't sure we'd see him for the rest of the season after his knee injury. Jack Clarke on the bench as well.
Still like Gary Monk despite his decision to leave the club.
Leeds wearing yellow and blue....a traditional away kit for them
Actually Leeds original colors until Revie came in and changed them to Real Madrid wannabes
They're off from SJP.
Brum played well at the Hawthorns last time and took the lead twice... but still lost 3-2
COME ON YOU YELLOW AND BLUES
My link at SJP hasn't started yet...now it has
Former Northern Ireland international, Lee Camp, starting in goal for Brum, while current Northern Ireland international, BPF the reserve keeper for Leeds.
Talksport is around the grounds right now
So I'll keep that going on the phone
We are off in the Second City
We're about set to go here - come on, you Leeds boys!
They're off from St. Andrews.
Well...now we are
Fred wants to know if St. Andrews is a football stadium or a golf course.
Bournemouth take the lead early vs Burnley
FORE.... goals for Leeds today/
Pass it back across the goal!!
Bamford puts through Tyler Roberts and shoots over from an impossible angle. Should have passed.
Oh - Tyler bursts through but then tried a shot from a narrow angle when he could have pulled it back.
LOL! Ashley Barnes has stuck a header in his own net to put Bournemouth 1-0 up. Burnley in real trouble now.
Almiron wins a Toon corner off of Obi Wan Bissaka. Corner from Matt Ritchie has Runned On and Headed well wide.
Bright start from us.
Wednesday take the lead vs Villa on Saturday
How hilarious. That would clinch safety for the Cherries. Eddie Howe had an unsuccessful eighteen month spell in charge of Burnley
The title run in will be close... very ironic that Liverpool still have to play Leicester and Newcastle... managers.... Rodgers and Benitez... two ex bosses
Battle of former Cup semi hosts
I think Cardiff are too far back. There is a five point gap... two wins is tough to get
Chances at both ends at Deepdale
Lets hope the late loss at home last week took the stuffing out of the Shelf Utd
Cardiff away to the Seagulls and Burnley this month. They need to win those to have any chance of staying up.
I miss those days of the semis being at club grounds
Leeds dominating, but can't get a shot off.
Luton already in the lead
They'll be in the Championship next season...they were non-league not long ago
I've lost the feed; desperately trying to get it back.
Rotherham take the lead at home to Forest
Back on with the match - phew!
Newcastle getting in each others way.... weak effort high
The Toffees vs the Gunners is the only Prem match tomorrow. That looks a decent one. We play there on Easter
Glad you got it back
Thanks, mate!
Runned On has a goal disallowed for offside. Was by inches . Unlucky as a great cross was headed on to him
Leaders Orient lost midweek and now losing again..can Salford still do it? Salford winning so they are now back on top! They had fallen quite a bit
As it stands, they are two points up but Orient have a game in hand
Only one goes up automatically
Who do Leeds have Easter weekend?
I miss the Premier League Easter fixtures on Sat/Mon
Tractor Boys with a relegation six pointer at Bolton. Doomed even if they win
Stoke take the lead at Ewood
Stoke had had FOUR straight nil nil matches
Derby take the lead at Brentford
Guaita saves a near point effort from Ritchie
I think Leeds play at the Bees on Easter Monday on Plus. Forgot who they play on Good Friday
Ex Leeds man Chris Wood equalizes for Burnley
Hibs won 1-2 at Hearts in the Edinburgh Derby. Was that posted?
We've got Wigan at home on Good Friday and then Brentford away on Easter Monday.
Potus with a tackle for a Brum corner
Chris Wood ties it up for Nurnley at Dean's Court
Jutkiewicz heads safely over from the corner.
Burnley now have the lead...NBC are at the wrong match!
Damn - Ali is wasteful when the attack seemed on.
Ashley Westwood now gives Burnley a 1-2 lead.
why?
Six points for you lot next season!!
Tat would put Burnley on 36 points, eight ahead of Cardiff .
Nice moment for the two fallen Leeds fans who died in Istanbul.
You keep ignoring my updates....AGAIN
Villa tie it up at Wednesday on Saturday
Fans commemorating the fans passing away in Istanbul in the CL Cup semi
Let's hope - but I'd rather see them in the Championship. But I don't like Cardiff either.
Huddersfield 0 Leicester C 1
Tillieman (sp?)
I like that Brum free kick - straight out of play. Lovely!
Reading take the lead at Hull
UWS will be pleased that Pompey have taken the lead at Wycombe as well as Richard Burton taken the lead vs BArnsley
That Thielemans (sp?) is a decent signing for the Foxes.
The ball is in the net but fortunately Adams had already been penalized for a shirt tug. Phew!
Notts C have take an upturn as of late
They are tied with Yeovil for the last drop spot... both nil nil right now
Brentford tie it up vs Derby
Close , UWS. Just forgot the s at the end
of his name
PLAY UP POMPEY..after winning last weekend in front of 80,000 fans
Gary Monk could use a better razor. Shocking shagginess.
Sol's lads one point behind Notts and Yeovil. One of those three will stay up.
Luton in the lead vs the Tangerines
With Barnsley losing Sunderland and Pompey only two points behind them Sunderland have two games in hand and Pompey have one
WOW ! Rochdale takes the lead vs the Black Cats. That moves Dale out of the drop zone.
Glad that things didn't go Leeds way right away because things seem to change
Last week, Leeds fell behind and Sh U went in front... it all changed 180 degrees
Sunderland are losing
Pompey now third
Notts C take the lead...out of the drop zone
Notts County in the l;ad vs Northants as are Morecmabe and Wise at Sol's lads./
OH!!!! Bamford seemed sure to score there. Hit the post instead.
oooh...off the inside of the post!
How did that not go in??
How did the rebound not come back to him!!!
And now Brum have scored - what a terrible minute for us!
Millwall take the lead vs WBA
BUGGER..... Brum take the lead!
Still early
BUGGER ! CHE ADAMS GIVES BRUM THE LEAD SECONDS AFTER BAMFORD HAD A HEADER OFF THE INSIDE OF THE POST. MAGHOMA WITH A RUN AND PASS, JUTKIEWICZ. LET IT RUN , AND CHE ADAMS BURIED IT IN THE CORNER
Notts County out of the drop zone for the first time in ages.
So we're only a point above Sheffield United now. Come on, boys - let's get it back!
Desmond at Brentford
Lamps team can't keep a lead
Swansea take the lead vs Boro
Bugger Blades take the lead
Remember, things always change!!
Pablo tries a shot from range - blocked out.
Even worse!
Ipswich take the lead at Bolton
Tractor Boys in the lead at Bolton. Too little, too late?
Salford still in on top at tiad Stone's as Wrexham vs Braintree a. Halifax on top at the Orient Express. Slaford also top of the pops as things stad
Wigan take the lead at Ashton Gate
Tangerines tie it up at Luton , which doesn't mean too much
Our passing isn't good enough today. Come on!
Swans two up vs Boro
This weekend I am a big Everton and West Ham fan!
Table topping Abe Lincoln in a real lead at the Fake Dons in a promotion six pointer.
Sol's lads tie it up vs Morecambe AND Wise.
Oh - Che Adams was nearly in again but Kiko did well.
Abe Lincoln a win from clinching promotion in only their second season back in the Football League. Sol's lads to become the first newly promoted side to the Football League to go straight back down?
I'm sure you are, mate.
Come on, boys - let's get it back before the break!
GOAL !!! No it's not . Or is it? James Thomkins volleyed in a corner from Milovojevic. Disallowed because MacArthur was in an offside position , blocking the keeper.
Palace think they have taken the lead... flag up... no goal
Plenty of time mate... plenty of time!
Again, things will all change...MARK MY WORDS
I hope, mate - I hope so!
A pair of stoppage time minutes at SJP
One minute of stoppage time to come.
Ipswich double their lead at Bolton
Tractor Boys two up at Bolton
Brum, to their credit, are working really hard.
should be a L1 Fixture next season
Sadly, still thirteen points from safety
Northants ties it up at Notts County
A minute of stoppage time at St. Andrews. It's 0-0 at the half at SJP
Oh - Ali had a half chance at the back post but he got it all wrong.
HTs all over the place....I promise everything will change
Notts County back in the drop zone, behind Yeovil on goal difference
A really frustrating half comes to an end. We'll need to be much better in the second half.
Brum one up at the half
Forest are all square at Rotherham
COME ON LEEDS ! TIME FOR A COMEBACK! MOT!
Second half underway at SJP.
Come on ESPN...is it back?
inner of this match pretty much safe. Even a draw is a decent result for both
Finally they are back
Leicester double their lead early in the second half
Vardy with the goal
One change for Leeds at the interval - Stu Dallas has come on for Gary Gardner.
David Davis on for Gary Gardener for Brum and Stu Dallas on for Jack Harrison for Leeds. Second half underway from St. Andrews.
Pompey two up!
Ali talked his way into the book after the Brum goal. Must be fluent in English or is it sarcasm?
phew...Casilla saves Leeds... center back was useless there!!!
Great close range block by Casilla from Jutkiewicz for a Brum corner as he drove past Min i Cooper
Oh - Kiko has to save sharply as Jutkiewicz is in on goal.
