The Title Decider!
A very good Wednesday afternoon, chaps! I hope you're situated in a comfortable chair and are preparing to watch what appears to be the key match in deciding this year's Premier League title. It's as simple as this - if Man City win at Old Trafford today, they're just about assured of winning another title. However, their Manc cousins can be the spoilers today (and I hope that they will be, as I've got a nice spot at the Cottage just ready for another trophy).
Join me for what should be an absorbing affair. Come on, you Reds!

Afternoon, chaps! They’ve been playing Manchester derbies since 1881, the year Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson first met and Pat Garrett killed Billy the Kid. And there has never been a United-City duel in a context exactly like today’s. It should be a cracker!
United make five alterations to the side that was spanked at Goodison Park on Sunday and has also switched system, with the following lot set to be deployed in some kind of back-five makeup. Darmian is making his first league appearance since January, seemingly as a central defender. As for City, De Bruyne is missing through injury, as expected.
United: De Gea; Young, Darmian, Smalling, Lindelof, Shaw; Pogba, Perreira, Fred; Lingard, Rashford
Subs: Romero, Dalot, Mata, Matic, Sanchez, Lukaku, Martial
City: Ederson; Walker, Kompany, Laporte, Zinchenko; Fernandinho, Gundogan; Silva, Bernardo, Sterling; Aguero
Subs: Muric, Danilo, Sané, Mahrez, Otamendi, Jesus, Foden
Referee: A Marriner
Roy Keane has lashed out at Paul Pogba after his diabolical performance against Everton at the weekend:
"I don’t believe a word he says ... he’s a big problem for United.... He’s a talented player but you need to be more than talented. The really top players make their team play better and he doesn’t do that. He plays for himself.”
I couldn't agree more.
Hello Bob
Not feeling confident.
I am rooting for United because a Top Four spot is still a possibility.
If Wolves can beat Arsenal tonight and United win... three wins at home to Chelsea, away at Huddersfield and home to Cardiff and it would be ours
Teams coming out
Hiya, Dave - fortunately, current form goes out the window when it comes to a derby like this one. What do you make of Keano's comments?
A win would put Liverpool in the driver's seat BUT they could still blow it
COME ON WOLVES!!
Still nil nil after 15 minutes
NBC... worse than Fox... getting every ounce of $$ thru commercials.
I'm giving up on the link now; they're requiring a Flash Player update that I can't do without administrative approval. I'll probably pedal home at half time.
Wolves 0-0 Arsenal
Arsenal have had 83.1% of the ball so far at Molineux. Wolves have completed 12 passes in the opening 10 minutes.
Why can't Wolves play like that against United!! 4 out of 6 points in the league and knocked us out of the Cup
Off we go
Sorry mate
Did you try to watch in Chrome and not Explorer
These blokes already having a love fest for City
Let me try in those. I usually use Safari.
Come on, you Red Devils!
The extra men in the booth just talk too much
United have already played better than at Goodison
Arsenal well on top at Molineux
United have a free kick..go short, back and then all the way back to De Gea... I HATE IT
Sounds like United are dropping deep - don't like it. You're at home! Theatre of Dreams, boys!
Free kick chance to City...partially cleared
Goal kick
Couldn't agree more Bob
Come on WOLVES
Wolves have their first chance... just wide
United are behind in Goals to Chelsea and Arsenal
United are +15, Chelsea 25, Chelsea 21
A hammering of Chelsea would help on Sunday
Kompany in the book for a block on Rashford
United free kick... they go sideways!!
More love fest crap from these numpties
Good to have Kompany in the book early doors.
Who are the numpties this afternoon?
Sounds like United have improved and are pressing a bit more.
The City Loving Trio
You should hear Arlo as City go forward
YES!!
WOLVES TAKE THE LEAD!!
oooh... nice move by United... nice chip over the top by Pogba to Lingard who volleys it just wide
Nice move
You've got it all to play for now!
City have a shot saved by De Gea and Untied break and Rash almost gets in
TWO NIL WOLVES!!!
If it stays the same at Molineux, the top four is in United's own hands
A shot from Etihad by Rashford...dipped over
Wow! What's happening to Arsenal?
Sorry Steve but.... LONG MAY IT CONTINUE
Why are these guys saying that City have not created much at all
United have a chance to break 2 v 2 blown by Rashford
Arlo gushing at a Walker run up the wing....he never touched the ball
THREE NIL WOLVES!
The radio says City have had better chances... totally disagree
HT at Molineux
3-0 Wolves
Helping United's gd fight
Perhaps City aren't walking on water like they think they do?
3-6 as it stands
Spurs 70 +30
Chelsea 67 +21
Arsenal 66 +22
United 65 +15
A win would be brilliant!
United need a goal right about now.
Young has to stop giving the ball away trying to kick the ball down the line
I'm listening to OGS being interviewed right now - bloody hell, his English is perfect! He almost has a Manc accent. Astonishing!
far too many times, the dribble forward is kicked too far ahead of them!!
COME ON... BASICS
At least United aren't being overrun. After the weekend, everyone assumed that Citeh would muller them. Not happening. Sounds very tight.
Sterling dribbles in the box....saved by De Gea
Agreed
Every time City do something these guys go gaga
"they draw you in"
They just passed the ball and was fouled...that was it
AGAIN... Pogba kick the ball too far ahead when the break was on... City get a chance hit wide
Basic dribbling!!
It has happened for United at least three times so far
Rash, Per and Pog
Pep has kittens because United didn't kick the ball out of bounds when a man was down...WHO CARES!
United do kick it out
Second half underway at Molineux
Almost half time at OT
It is half time
So far, United have been the better side in my book
If they weren't, I would say so
That suits me just fine.
I'm off home now to enjoy the second half.
Arsenal have a tough match at King Power
So if the score stays the same
Liverpool need to win their last three matches to be Champs
Huddersfield H
Newcastle A
Wolves H
Could they still blow it
The Champions League semi first leg is just before the trip to SJP
We are off for the second half
City break fast early...United survive
Rash and Pog short pass in the box... Pog's shot is blocked at his feet
Fernandinho might have to come off
Sane to come on... uh oh
City should have scored there... too much passing
Bugger....one nil city
Of corse Arlo having kittens
United have to do better than they have done this half
Not good defending by Shaw
De Gea wasn't brilliant there either
Bugger! I've just got home in time to see Bernie Sanders slamming home an opener for Citeh. Kate is cheering because she doesn't want the Shield in the house. Grrr!
Oh - Aguero hits the post!
BLOODY HELL...Did Lingard whiff there!!
Oh - Lindy! How did you miss that one?!
He did whiff at the back post
Good response from United now - keep it up!
Lingard tripping over himself
Lingard turned away the first time and then wasn't hungry for the ball
Now the three numpties want players to get red cards
A loss here isn't that deadly with the score from Wolves
Arsenal will still need to drop a couple of points and United need to beat Chelsea
A loss here and an Arsenal win would have been deadly
Hopeless by Pogpants again... just faffing about with it in his own half and loses it
Pogpants had a chance to burst in the area... he didn't!
Free kick to United just outside the D
Shocking behavior from Arlo and co.
I hope Fred doesn't take it
He took it last week and it stunk
Pogpants over it too... the way he is kicking it... into the wall
If you're world class....SHOW IT
Dangerous free kick now - into the wall.
Straight into the wall
PATHETIC
Arsenal get a goal back
Young follows the hopeless free kick with an atrocious attempt of a cross
It had to be saved from going out for a throw in on the other side of the pitch
Arsenal have ten minutes to get two more...bloody well hope not
Two nil City
City break from more pathetic United passing
Fred's pass was ok if Pogpants actually went for the ball
Really poor from De Gea.
De Gea was pathetic for that goal!
He is just thinking of Real
If United beat Chelsea, they would still be behind them on GD unless there is a 7 goal swing and counting
A four nil win would do it!
I'll wake up...13 goals concede since we have last scored from open play. I can't remember the goal
More cheering from Kate - she's a traitor.
Perrera off for Lukaku
Watch for more miscontrol
De Gea has been awful for weeks now
Has he decided to go to Madrid?
Coming to the 90th minute at Molineux
We have been outscored 7-0 in the last two matches.... that is our goal difference
Not good by United again... Lingard looks clueless out there
What's Lindy playing at - terrible positioning.
1 of the 4 added minutes
United need a goal because we are behind in that category
Bloody hell, Chunk!
Pathetic effort from Lukaku
United players are just not that good
I just want top four so we can attract some better players in.... they won't come with EL
Why are they playing Rashford? That was a decent ball. Lukaku just fluffed it.
Wolves win 3-1
I wouldn't care if any or all of these players leave
They are just pathetic
Rashford has been pants
So has Lingard
So has De Gea
Of course there is Pogpants, Smalling, and co
7 losses in 9... lucky to win the two we did
Why has this side stopped playing? You lot were doing great under OGS. Now that they've made him permanent, they've stopped playing.
And yet, if you spread OGS' tenure over a season, you lot would be third.
Stupid foul by Shaw... JUST IDIOTIC
Sanchez and Martial coming on with ten minutes to go
I would take off Lingard and Rashford
Lingard and Darmian are being replaced
I would too. But why bring Alexis on - he's pants!
What's with Le Saux reading an obituary for United - you lot are in sixth! Other clubs should be so lucky!
Top Four is still not over
We need to beat Chelsea H, Hudders A, Cardiff H
We need Chelsea to drop a point vs Watford H, Leicester A
We need Arsenal to drop a points vs Leicester A, Brighton H, Burnley A
I could see those two dropping points... I just don't know if United could win three in a row
This was not the result I was looking for. Grrrr!!!!
That does still seem on, but you'll need to get back to winning ways, just like we will.
Sorry mate
Of course, with Pool put me thru in the 70s and 80s
18-7 behind in the title race
Now it is 18-20.... don't want the floodgates to open
Bad couple of weeks for both of us
The crowd has left at OT
This team doesn't is atrocious
These players were atrocious for Jose and now doing the same under Ole
Disgusting player attitudes
Hopeless from Pogpants - he's infuriating.
Game over
Bloody useless
City three games away from the title again
A really disappointing evening at OT. Citeh are back in the driver's seat.
Take care Bob
Nice chatting with you
At least Arsenal lost
Enjoy the rest of your evening, mate. Cheerio!
