Transfer Deadline Day!
It's Transfer Deadline Day in the UK, with clubs making their final moves for this January transfer window. My beloved Leeds United have already made two significant moves, bringing in Leipzig striker Kevin-Jean Augustin on loan and buying 19 year-old winger Ian Paveda from Manchester City. I'm hoping that we'll be able to hang on to LUFC Academy jewel Kalvin Phillips and perhaps add a defensive midfielder to our increasingly thin senior squad. What about the rest of you, FB footie fans? What would you like for your teams to do today before the window closes?

I'm following the day's events on the Guardian blog here:

So far it's been a relatively quiet day. The big deals have been Arsenal signing Cedric Soares from Southhampton and Sheffield United signing Richairo Zivkovic on loan.
All eyes are on Old Trafford who look set to grab Josh King from Bournemouth today.
Drees Mertins is another unsettled player who could quite possibly end up in the Premier League this spring. He's an exciting player and would definitely light up the league.
Not been a big window so far for Premier League clubs to get top targets over the line, has it? Are deals at the top end just much more difficult to do now than ever?
United about to complete a loan deal for Ighalo. Are we that desperate that we need to resort to signing journeyman players.? Bob's United signed better players than the two Daves United did
It's been an extremely quiet day considering it's deadline day for this transfer window
The Hammers signed talented youngster, Jarred Bowen, from the Tigers for $33 million. Spurs did fantastic business by signing Steven Bergwijn, a talented Dutch international, from PSV. Villa signed Borja Baston for free from the Swans
All of the above clubs signed better players than United did. Ridiculous.
The Foxes signed Wolves defender, Ryan Bennett, on loan from Wolves while the Evil Blades signed Sander Berge for a club record 29 million from Genk.
I was happy with the signing of Bruno Feranades , but today all these clubs signed better players than we did
