Thanks for the thread MUR
COME ON NoEnders!!
I actually would like Brentford to go up instead of WBA
We are off Griffin Park
Just blow up ref!!
Bugger... Brentford take
I sent a text to Bob in our thread but it wouldn't deliver... I sent him a separate one
Back from lunch...PNE with a free kick....nice save!
I have Brentford on my telly
I will watch the New/Tot and Burn/Wol on the computer
HT
Bees are buzzing
1-0
The 3 Prem matches have started. Again, I am watching the Newcastle and Burnley matches
D Silva gives City the lead after 6 minutes.... zzzzz
They are going to win by 5 or more for a third straight game...just after United got the record for 3+ in four games... City will be that!
Swans take the lead at the County Ground
Good afternoon Dave . Back from picking up Elizabeth at the grocery store and from doing diaper duty
Cheers Dave. Glad to post
I changed my mind am watching Citeh vs the Cherries because I want to see goals
In the top two divisions four one nillers and three nil nillers
Late by Gundogan on Dan Gosling
Liam Kelly booked for holding Jesus off a long throw from Ederson
Sorry. Lloyd Kelly
Hi David... I am here
Solanke wins a free kick off a clash of heads with Gundogan
You watching City?
Good afternoon, Dave
That's the one match I am not watching
Citeh making me drowsy . Easy to do in this heat and humidity
Forest tie it up
Forest ties it up vs the Swans
That's a huge blow to the Swans
I am texting Bob updates from my computer...easy to type
Get the ball in the box PNE!!
Josh King shoots wide off a bout of head tennis in the Citeh box
Decent effort... saved...could have made a better chance I think
Ben Mendy has a cross cleared by Thomas Jefferson Lerma for a Citeh corner
Stoke get a much needed equalizer at Ashton Gate
Corner headed away by Steve Cook
Time for drinkies at the Etihad
Stoke five points clear and surely all but safe
Play resumes at the Etihad
Sonaldo scores for Spurs
Spurs take the lead at SJP
Spurs up to seventh with that goal
Wigan.... will be safe if the season ended right now
Drinkies at Griffin Park
David and Bernie Silva will get Silva medals in the Prem this season
Phil Foden with a shot that lands in Row H off a pass from Ben Mendy
The Cherries making a contest of this. Probably their best performance against Citeh since being in the Prem
Otameni fouls Solanke after Mendy gifted possession
Ederson does well to turn around a deflected free kick from Stanislaus . Tipped on to the post then off his head
Cross from Dan Gosling headed on by Josh King then off Solanke for a goal kick
A superb description by Jim Beglin that Citeh have been pedestrian
GRRRRRRRRRRR!!!! tHE FIVE SUBSTITUTE rule will continue next season. That makes sense due to the restart , but no need for next season
I just saw that
OH! Josh King with a slide rule pass to Gosling blocked by Edersopn then a close range effort by Solanke blocked by Otamendi for a corner
Not pleased with that decision.
City... Two nil
GOAL !!!~JESUS PUTS CITEH TWO UP GETTING PAST TWO CHERRIES PLAYERS IN THE BOX THEN SCORES WITH A GREAT FINISH. NICE SLIDE RULE PASS FROM DAVID SILVA
According to Tom, Cherries have been the better team
Thomas Jefferson Lerma with 39 bookings in two seasons. COR! That must be a record
An LOB blogging duo of Dave's stoppage time minutes at the Etihad
swans retake the lead
Swans now lead 1-2 at the City Ground
Cherries have been better in spells , but overall Citeh the slightly better team
Citeh two up at the half . A lead which flatters them
Now off to SJP. Spurs still one up
Spurs take their lead to HT
Spurs one up at the half
Now off to Turf Moor. It's 0-0 at the half
a chance for Preston... weak effort
Free kick chance for PNE...comes to nothing
Bummer.... still....the Baggies are the ones that have to worry
Sterling on for City...if your'e resting him... why not rest him
Bloody Pep
Several minutes into the second half
Pep will face his old mate on Saturday in the semi . Hope Pep loses
Great goal by Richie!
Toon tie it up vs the SPurs. Good news for United
OH! Josh King scores at the far post off a pass from Stanislaus, bit it's disallowed for offside. The replay shows he might have been on. VAR checking
Looks on and level. Should count
It's disallowed. Offside by a tenth of a toe.
Forest ties it up vs the Swans . Now Desmond
Kane scores for Spurs
Charlton takes the lead at St. Andrews and go above on goal difference. Both teams four points clear of the drop zone
Wonder if I should switch to the match at SJP
I just switched over
Shelvey booked for a late challenge
Spurs up to seventh.
COME ON YOU TOON
These offside decisions are ridiculous!
No way this is why it was brought it
There should be and 'too close to call' rule. On field decision stands!
As I have said before, are they checking the other part of the offside rule... when the ball is kicked? Is it when the ball is touched? Indented? Leaves foot?
It should not be called by a tenth of a toe nail
Drinkies at SJP
Joe Linton on for Dwight Crystal Gayle. Like for like as play resumes
Agreed about the offside decisions. That's hardly conclusive and takes away the advantage to the attacker
Shot from Lazaro finds the side netting off a nice Toon possession
Pen for City?
Tom texted
VAR takes it away
Shelvey straight to Lloris off a long Toon possession
Harry Kane and Not Abel to escape for using his fair Scharr of an elbow on the Toon Player. Sonny will not be pleased
Lamela wins a free kick off of old mate, Bentaleb
Schaar down off that earlier Kane challenge and sonny thinks he won't be Abel to continue
Wolves take the lead
Great volley!
Wolves takes the lead at Turf Moor
Raul Jimenez with the goal
St. Max with a long range effort well over for the Toon
I don't want to see City score again...let them just win 2-0
United's new record would be safe
Ben Davies booked for a foul from behind on St. Max , who went on a long solo run
One of the Longstaff brothers on for Bentaleb
Free kick headed away then shot from Almiron lands in Row K
Definitely want to see United's record unbroken
Cherries score
Cherries pull one back at the Etihad, trailing 2-1
David Brooks with the goal
Kane scores his second...nets the rebound from a Lamella shot
Seems to have hurt himself
May have hurt his shoulder...seems ok
GOAL !!! SPURS TAKE A 1-3 LEAD OFF A BREAK STARTED BY HARRY KANE. PUT THROUGH LAMAELA , WHOSE SHOT WAS SAVED BY DUBRAVKA AND KANE HEADED IN THE REBOUND
Now Kane is replaced by Vertonghen as Spurs have clinched a win
5 added minutes at SJP
Into a quintet of stoppage time minutes
Schaar down left again , holding his shoulder and surely must come off
5 at TM too..Burnley going the wrong way!
Wood misses a chance!
Play still stopped. There will be a ton of stoppage time
Did Wood learn that at ER???
Play resumes at SJP. Toon will play the remainder of the match with ten men
Penalty to Burnley... Of course... VAR will check
It's over at SJP as Spurs win 1-3 and are now in seventh place
Now switched over to Turf Moor
VAR checking for offside..no...now it is a pen

Great pen...upper 90
GOAL !!! CHRIS WOOD TIES IT UP FROM THE SPOT.NOW 1-1 AT TURF MOOR
Good result for United
That's good news for United
City win 2-1... Tom thinks Bournemouth were the better team!
All over at TM.. 1-1
It finishes 1-1 at Turf Moor
Arsenal Liverpool up next
I will be around for the first half but have to pick up Kath after that
Nuno the Saint fuming. The announcer said the decision was harsh on Wolves was
Brum ties it up late vs Charlton as it finishes 1-1. Brum all but safe as they are five points clear. Charlton only safe by a pair of points
Forest vs Swans finishes Desmond, which is a setback for the Swans playoff hopes
I have turned it to Peacock and I will have Gold on too so I can see if anyone is behind
guard of honor again....how many times do they need to have it done!!
Why not do it every game next season!
Teams out at the EM. Yet another guard of honor for Pool. I don't remember teams ever getting this many guards of honor
Gold way ahead of Peacock
I'm on Gold. I checked out Peacock and in terms of footie it has what Gold has. Just the extras with movies and TV shows, etc.
They're off from the EM
I have turned off Peacock...and we are off
Liverpool will collect the Premier League Trophy at their last home game against ChelseaI(no way they want to lose that match)
A podium will be built on the Kop
Aubama being rested for the cup semi
Fireworks being shot off outside the stadium
Saka wins a corner off of TAA as Alison just fails to keep it in play
Pool counter off the corner
Sounds like a bunch of morons are outside the stadium . They need to be at home
The Ox wins a corner off of Sideshow Bob
Rob Holding fouls Mane off a long spell of Pool possession
Poor free kick lofted in and easily gathered by Martinez
Ridiculous crap from Arsenal keeper...almost a gift
Modern Day football
Horrible clearance by Martinez off of Bobby Chompers and off the stanchion. The Gunners got away with one there
Mane!
One nil
GOAL !!!MANE OH MANE POOL TAKE THE LEAD
Arsenal with a chance... what an atrocious cross by R-N
Long Gunners clearance was headed on by Fabinho. Bobby Chompers played Andy Robertson down the left and his pass was easily tapped in by Mane
Now Pool have a corner. Van Dijck heads straight to Martinez
Ox wins a corner against his former club
Corner headed on then out for a goal kick, cuing drinkies
Drinkie poo....this crap has to stop!
It is a tactical time out...we are in the NFL
Play resumes at the EM
agreed, Dave, Knowing the footie powers, this nonsense will continue
I can't believe it is allowed for Chelsea to have TWO days extra rest than United for the semi final
Just like the 5 subs as you said earlier
Agreed. I don't get it. Who exactly does the scheduling? What's with these horrible decisions?
GOAL !!!! I MISSED IT BUT READ ABOUT IT IN LA CAZETTE
Van Dijck , of all people caught faffing about , under pressure by Reiss Nelson . A Gunner rounded Alison and easily scored. Didn't see it but read about it in La Cazette
Now 1-1 at the EM . Steve and Simon must be delighted. Must win for the Gunners to have any hope of finishing in the top seven
Doing the laundry and miss the Arsenal goal
Just saw it...of course...they are stunned it's a VVD mistake!
Andy Robertson with a cross headed out by Rob Holding for a Pool corner
Corner headed over by Mane
That was an absolute howler. Might as well have been Dick Van Dyke back there defending
I am off to pick up Kathy
I'll be around tomorrow
See you then
Cheers Dave. Great chatting. Look forward to chatting tomorrow. Enjoy the rest of the day
GOAL !!!GUNNERS TAKE A 2-1 LEAD THANKS TO ANOTHER HOWLER. I MISSED THE HOWLER FROM ALISON OFF A POOL THROW BUT READ IN LA CAZETTE THAT HE PASSED TO A GUNNER WHO PASSED TO REISS NELSON, WHO EASILY PAST IT IN THE CORNER
Into a pair of stoppage time minutes
The Gunners have come from behind to lead 2-1 at the half thanks to a comedy of Liverpool, errors, which amuses Steve and Simon, but not Pool fans
Thanks for keeping the home fires burning on the LOB today. I'm looking forward to joining you chaps here tomorrow for the Elland Road fiesta against Barnsley.
