Thank Goodness It's Saturday
After a long workweek, I'm looking forward to settling in for some of the good stuff. The early matches are all in the FA Cup 2nd Round and the Football League, so the Premier League matches don't get started until 11am because of the six-hour time difference between us and Blighty. The USA match is Man Citeh v. Fulham, but I'll be watching my beloved Leeds against Bournemouth on Peacock. The late match on NBC at 1:30pm is Everton v. Leicester.
Join me, won't you?

Morning, chaps! I'm settling in after my morning routine of feeding and diaper changes. The twins are having a nap, so it's footer time.
One element to watch today is that here are 11 Premier League footballers who are just one booking away from a Premier League suspension and also harbouring hopes of going to the World Cup.
Those to watch: Chris Mepham (Bournemouth), Aleksandar Mitrovic (Fulham), Alexis Mac Allister (Brighton), Amadou Onana (Everton), Diego Dalot (Manchester United), Thilo Kehrer (West Ham), Fabian Schar (Newcastle), Gabriel Jesus (Arsenal), William Saliba (Arsenal), Rodrigo Bentancur (Tottenham) and Harry Kane (Tottenham).
After the late miracle at Anfield last week, the mood around Elland Road is much more optimistic. But that hides the reality that we're still in a relegation battle, as we've struggled to pick up wins against the likes of Bournemouth, today's opponents. Three points today will continue the momentum from last weekend and will leave us in a comfortable mid-table situation going into the World Cup break. Come on, you Whites! #MOT!!
The Leeds side for today's match:
Meslier (GK), Koch, Cooper (C), Aaronson, Roca, Summerville, Harrison, Adams, Rodrigo, Struijk.
Subs: Klaesson (GK), Ayling, Firpo, Llorente, Gnonto, Gelhardt, Greenwood, Klich, Joseph.
In the other matches, I'll take a home win for Citeh, who have Haaland back on the bench, over Bournemouth; an away win for Brentford over Forest, an away win for Brighton over Wolves and a draw between Everton and Leicester.
Lots of injuries around the league that's affecting the World Cup, which of course has no preparation time.
Ben Chilwell has been ruled out, while Son Jeung Min and Alexander Mitrovic are questionable.
In the Championship, Sheffield Bloody United have tonked Burnley 5-2.
Wolves have appointed former Spain and Real Madrid manager Julen Lopetegui their new manager. I would have preferred if they'd waited until after our League Cup match this week.
I'm onto the Peacock link now - cracking atmosphere at Elland Road, as usual.
It's Remembrance Day season of course, so we've got a ceremony at Elland Road before kick off.
We're all set to go now - come on, you Whites!
YESSSSSS!!!!!!!
Crysencio Summerville has won us a penalty in the first minute!
And Rodrigo has dispatched it! 1-0 Whites!
That's Rodders' seventh goal of the season and three in three now.
Bugger! Tavernier has equalized in the sixth and we've got a right old ding dong going on here.
Bournemouth can now swing a free kick in - mark 'em up!
Training pitch routine got Solanke in and he earns a corner.
Oh - now it's cleared off the line by Pascal from a header from Lerma.
This is exactly the fear that I had about this match. That we would go balls out in attack and leave space behind.
Bournemouth have another free kick out wide left now - I don't like how many chances we're giving them.
Goalscorer Tavernier tried to punk Meslier by swerving one in but the French keeper plucked it out of the air easily.
Oh - Tavernier is in again but Meslier saves.
Bollocks - Bournemouth are 1-2 up now.
Really poor defending there from Rasmus Kristenson.
JM does like his acid wash jeans, doesn't he? Child of the 80s, no doubt.
Struijk wins us a corner there. Come on!
Bournemouth try to break but Meslier saves brilliantly again at the feet of Lerma.
Oh - Kiefer Moore should have scored there. Right in the middle and unmarked. Crowd starting to get anxious about this shoddy defending.
Oh - lovely move by Aaronson but it's cleared at the backpost.
More shoddy defending from Koch and Bournemouth are nearly in again. Corner.
Jack Harrison has been really out of sorts today. He'll need to come off in the second half - lots of options on the bench. Gnonto might be the go-to.
Nasty clash there between Kiefer Moore and Robin Koch - they should be okay to continue.
Good Morning, Bob. Back home after running an errand. Will watch the match from ER in the second half
The Seagulls have tied it up at Molineaux. Now Desmond
Wolves now in the drop zone , bottom behind the Foxes on goal difference and a point from safety
Citeh vs the Cottagers is 1-1 at the half. Steve will be pleased
Citeh down to ten men .Cancelo sent off for fouling Harry Wilson in the box and Perreirta , the former Un item player tied it up with the a spot kick
Another good update for Bib. The Bees have tied it up at Forest in the third minute of stoppage time. Bryan Mbeumbo with a spot kick
Forest now bottom, a point behind Wolves and the Foxes.
Half-time: 1-2. Not good enough.
Wolves down a man . Semedo sent off for denial of a goal scoring opportunity
I thought the Cottagers got a break. It seems a soft call and cancel should have been booked, not sent off as conceding a penalty is not denial of a goal scoring opportunity
Willy Gnonto has replaced Jack Harrison for the second half.
I am watching thew match from the Etihad on the telly and the match from ER on the Cock
BUGGER THE CHERRIEWS NOW LEAD 1-3. SOLANKE WITH A TAP IN ON A BREAK OFF A LEEDS CORNER
Grrr! 1-3.
Very sorry, Bob. Leeds caught out on their corner. Top Billing found Marcus Tavernier wide left na this pass was passed into the corner by Solanke
This is the only Prem match being played that's not tied
Chris Mepham booked for an arm to the head of Rodrigo. Will be suspended for the match vs the Toffees next weekend
Sam Greenwood for Marc Rocca
Sam Greenwood has replaced Marc Roca.
I think we're rooting for the Toffees to defeat the Foxes in the late match
Good Afternoon, Bob.
WAY HAY! WHAT A ROKET IN THE UPPER 90 BY KRISTENSEN. NOW 2-3
Cross from Kristensen was headed down by Summerville and a a Struijch was blocked then a foot outside the box Kristensen blasted it in the upper 90
YEEESSSSSSS!
Sam Greenwood with a lovely curler to bring us back to 2-3!
Congrats, Bob. We're in for quite a finale
OH! Rodrigo shoots high and wide after turning a defender off a run and pass from Summerville
Sorry, Bob. It was Greenwood. Not sure why I said Kristensen
Rasmus is close to a red now - I'd have Luke Ayling on now.
Sam Greenwood with a long range shot blocked for a corner
WAY HAY! 3-3 MINI COOPER DRIVES IN AN EQUALIZER. NOW LET'S WIN IT LEEDS
YESSSSSS!!!!
Big Liam Cooper has equalized for us - now let's go and win it!
3-3!
Greenwood with a goal and an assist off the bench. His corner was headed in at the near post by Mini Cooper with a header that did Travers Mark. Congratulations, Bob
GOLA ! TENMMAN CITEH TAKES A 2-1 LEAD
Cottagers caught faffing about in possession and several passes later Haaland off the bench heads in a cross from KDB
VAR checking for offside
Disallowed for offside. Still 1-1
All four Pre matches being played are currently tied up
Wissa has given the Bees a come from behind 1-2 lead at Forest, who are now bottom, three points from safety
Aaronson with a shot blocked for a corner off a pass from international teammate, Tyler Addams
Leed steeds to win because we don't know how the Foxes, Saints, and Villa will do in their matches being played later
We're pouring it on now - but Bournemouth could always break.
Robin Koch with a shot blocked from a Leeds corner for another
Morning, David - sorry, I didn't see you come on I've been so distracted by the excitement of the match. How are you, mate?
Joffy on for Rodrigo. An Ayling change about to come up
Joffy on for Rodrigo now - come on!
Doing well, Bob. Not a good start to the day but getting better. This exciting match has helped.Thank you for asking. How have you been ? It's been a crazy match
No probs, mate. Have M&M kept you busy this morning?
It has been a crazy match and, yes, the twins always keep us busy!
WAY HA! COMEBACK FROM 1-3 DOWN TO LEAD 4-3. WOW! GREAT GOAL BY SUMMERVILLE ON THE BREAK. GREAT RUN BY GNOTO
YESSSSSSS!!!!!
Willy Gnonto lays one on for Crysencio and it's 4-3!!!!
Leeds broke off a Cherries free kick driven away by Mini Cooper. Gnoto with a long solo run and a superb through ball to find Summerville in the Fall for a great finish that did Travers Mark
An Ayling change as Luke is on for Aaronson
The Leeds fans have gone from booing the team off at half time to singing Willy Gnonto's name.
More good news for Bob as the Seagulls take a 2-3 lead at Molineaux
Hang in there, now - let's now blow this at the back.
That is really good news - it keeps them rooted to the bottom.
Wolves second from bottom a pair of points from safety. Leeds now twelfth four points clear of the drop zone pending the late match
I think we want the Toffees to defeat the Foxes in the late match. Is that right mate? It would keep the Foxes in the drop zone
YIKES! There will be a quintet of stoppage time minutes
Stoppage time has started
Either that or a draw. Everton are right around where Leeds are on 14 points.
YIKES PENALTY CITEH. LOOKS AN EASY DECISION FOR THE REF
KDB tripped in the box
Haaland to take
GOAL ! HAALAND PLACED THE PEN IN THE CORNER UNDER JAY LENO'S HAND
Citeh back on top a pair of points ahead of the Gunners ahead of the big match at SB tomorrow.
That's predictable for Citeh. Haaland on to 23 goals now, 18 in the Premier League.
WAY HAY! Leeds wins 4-3 after being 1-3 down. What a comeback, Congrats, Bob
Ten man Citeh have defeated the Cottagers 2-1 to go back top
Wow - an extraordinary come-back win for us, which puts us on a two-win streak and on 15 points from 13 matches.
Forest have tied it up vs the Bees . Now Desmond, but fOrest still bottom pair of points from safety. Not good news for Bob, but not catastrophic
It was an OG by Zanka
Half-time at Goodison - it's 0-1 Leicester thanks to a wonder strike from Youri Tielemans.
Harvey Barnes scored a second as the Foxes ran out 0-2 victors, moving then up to thirteenth place just behind Leeds. The Saints replace them in the final drop zone spot, behind Villa on head to head. The Saints host the Toon tomorrow while Villa host United. Bob will be hoping for away wins in both matches
