Thursday Afternoon Footie?
My beloved Leeds United have a rare Thursday appointment this evening and, no, it's not in the Europa League. Jesse Marsch's side has been in poor form of late, earning only a paltry two points from the past five matches. However, Leicester have been in even worse form, with the Foxes currently holding up the bottom of the league. So, an away point would seem like the least we can expect today and a first away win of the season would be a real tonic.
Come on, you Leeds - #MOT!

Substitutes: Klaesson (GK), Ayling, Cooper, Harrison, Rodrigo, Gnonto, Gelhardt, Greenwood, Klich.
Wahay - the Peacock coverage of the match has started.
Wahay - the boys are in the tunnel.
We're away at Filbert Street - come on, you Whites!
Wahay! Brenden Aaronson wins an early free kick for us. Let's get an early goal, eh chaps!
Knocked out for a corner. Leicester has been conceding a lot of these. Let's go!
I like this early pressure - come on!
We're looking up for it tonight - quick into the challenge.
Neither side dominating at this point.
Phew! Vardy nearly played Barnes in there. Just couldn't control it.
Nice break there through Aaronson and Lord Bamford. The final cross was just a touch heavy for Summerville.
Oh - Sinesterra nearly played LB in there.
Great defending by Rasmus there.
Bugger! Llorente coughed up the ball there in midfield and Vardy put pressure on us to the point that Koch turned into his own goal.
1-0 down.
Summerville is down in need of treatment now.
Good Afternoon, Bob. Here to join you for the match. Sorry about the score. How have you been?
Nice run by Bamford , but great recovery tackle by Tielemans
Harrison Reed has given the Cottagers the lead vs Villa . That's a good score from a Lead point of view.
Cottagers surprisingly ninth . Villa above the drop zone on goal difference as is Leeds
Sinesterra tries a pop and it's deflected out for a corner. Come on!
Sinister Luis with a shot blocked for a corner
Afternoon, David. I'm gradually improving day by day. Hoping that a better scoreline than this can cheer me up.
Glad you're improving . Sorry about the fact that you're not feeling well. Hope Kate and the twins are doing well
The Gunners defeated PSV 1-0 in the EL thanks to a goal by Xakha Khan that clinched a place win the knockout rounds for the Gunners
Barca three up vs Villarreal with a double from Lew , but Real remain in first place
YIKES! Almost another OG by Leeds, this time from the Llorente Express for a Foxes corner
OH! off the bar from Sinister Luis on a Leeds break.
Oh - Summerville must score that one!
We're certainly knocking on the door now.
Wide by Summerville off a nice pass from Brendan Aaronson
Agreed, Bob. Leeds unlucky not to be level
Danny Ward does well to push over a shot from Summerville, but he was called offside
The twins are back to normal. Kate and I are slowly improving.
Bollocks! 2-0!
BUGGER! Harvey Barnes puts the Foxes two up
It was a six player move involving three Belgians and three Englishmen. It started from the back with Tielemans to Castegne to Praet to to Barnes to Dewsbury-Hall to Harvey Barnes
Glad you and Kate are doin g better and really pleased for M&M
Sorry about the scoreline. Great move by the Foxes , but Leeds hard done by
Foxes second from bottom and only a point from safety
Villa now both a goal and a man down as Doug Luis has been sent off. The one encouraging sign of the day for Bob and Leeds
Clumsy from Firpo and Leicester can swing in a free kick now.
Penalty to the Cottagers pending a VAR check. Will they Cash in on the hand ball by Matty?
Not sure about that punch from Meslier.
Mesler punches away a free kick from Castegene that should have been easily caught
Rodrigo is warming up now.
The Cottagers do Cash in as Mitrovic puts them two up with the spot kick
Villa will replace Wolves in the drop zone if they concede two more without reply
Koch with a cynical tug back there on Barnes who would have been away.
Not exactly Koched to perfection as Robin out paced by Harvey Barnes and pulls him back from behind
This could so easily be at 2-2 but our finishing has been abysmal recently.
Leeds have committed more fouls than any other team in the Premiership this season. JM will want Leeds to improve on that stat
There was also the shot that crashed off the bar when it was 1-0
An LOB blogging duo of stoppage time minutes
That's it for me today, mate - I'm off to set up my 4:30 class. Hoping we can get back into this one in the second half but I'm not confident.
Cheerio!
Foxes two up at the half . Very sorry, mate.
Cheers, Bob. Elizabeth and I will be leaving soon for a dinner date. Wishing Leeds well in the second half.
Cottagers three up vs Villa thanks to an OG by Mings the Merciful. Villa now above the drop zone ahead of Wolves only on goals scored.
Balls! I hate football.
