Saturday's Here Again!
Morning, chaps! Another Premier League weekend has rolled around. We start with Liverpool trying to capitalize on their big win last weekend to put lowly Forest to the sword. At 10am, we've got the usual slate of league fixtures, including Citeh at home to Brighton. Finally, the late one on NBC is marquee match up of the weekend - United vs. Chelsea.
Join me in the morning, eh?

Remember Boys, I won't be around this weekend
Have fun..and good luck to all
Thanks, Dave - have a good one. I'm just settling in to watch the early one.
Of course, now that Leeds are in a relegation scrap, I'm looking down the table again and hoping that Liverpool can muller Forest.
The teams:
Nottingham Forest (4-3-3) Henderson; Aurier, McKenna, Cook, Williams; Yates, Freuler, Kouyate; Gibbs-White, Awoniyi, Lingard.
Substitutes: Hennessey, Biancone, Worrall, Boly, Lodi, Mangala, Surridge, Johnson, Dennis.
Liverpool (4-2-3-1) Alisson; Milner, Gomez, van Dijk, Robertson; Fabinho, Jones; Elliott, Firmino, Carvalho; Salah.
Substitutes: Adrian, Kelleher, Tsimikas, Bajcetic, Phillips, Alexander-Arnold, Henderson. Oxlade-Chamberlain, Clark.
Referee Paul Tierney.
Liverpool have yet to win an away match this season and Forest are making it very difficult for them at the City Ground.
Half time arrives - 0-0.
GOAL ! FOREST TAKE S A SURPRISE LEAD
McKenna rockets Forest into the lead. This is a shocking scoreline.
Dean Henderson pushed a round a near post shot from Harvey Elliott then on the break Milner blocks from Morgan Gobbs-White for a Forest corner
Good Morning, Bob. How are you?
Back the goal. Joe Gomez Addams caught by Awoniyi faffing about the halfway line then Gomez Addams held him back rugby style which should have been a red card for denial of a goal scoring opportunity. It was a booking because supposedly Van Dyke was covering.Former Pool player, Neco Williams took a long diagonal free kick and Gibbs_White passed in to the box. Ryan Yates had a shot come off the post and Awoniyi put away the rebound
Forest second from bottom behind four team on goal difference.
Great day for reunion day. There's Frank Clark, John MCGovern, ands Garry Birtles in the stands. Birtles there texting on his mobile phone
Nice run down the left by the Coyote then finds Brennan Johnson. He scuffs a shot that's pushed away by Alison. Should have done better
In the Championship the Tangerines lead PNE 2-1
Yesterday in L1 the Tractor Boys defeated the Rams 1-0 to go second , a point behind Argyle Sweater
Not a bIg Club one up at the half at Abe Lincoln as the Owls are third, a point behind the Tractor Boys
Bob will be pleased that Abe Lincoln has tied it up. Not a Big Club now three points behind the Tractor Boys
Morning, David - how's the fall weather in NC?
Dean Henderson does well to push away a header from TAA off a nice cross from Andy Robertson then the rebound is blasted over
Liverpool knocking on the door here but they've got around five minutes to dig this one out. This would not be a good result for Leeds.
Really poor from The Ox there - should have been able to pick out Salah. No wonder he rides the bench at Anfield.
OH! Nice one two between Ryan Yates and Morgan Gibbsn-White and with just Alison to beat, Yates tries to chip the keeper and it's finger tipped out for a Forest corner
Good Morning, Bob. The mornings have been chilly here in the 20s but this is supposed to be our last night below freezing for the next week. The days were in the 50s for a few days , but it was near 70 yesterday afternoon. It's been really sunny, but cool over here
How's the weather in WNY?
A quintet of stoppage time minutes
OH! What as ave by Dean Henderson from a Van Dyke header from a Pool corner then Alison, up for the corner called for a foul on Ryan Yates
Several Pool headers in the Forest box off a long throw from Joe Gomez Addams and Dean Henderson does well to tip over a header from Salah
OH! Off the post from Brennan Johnson on the break as Alison was caught upfield , but called offside and that's it as the relegation race is throw wide open as Forest shockingly defeat Pool 1-0
Off to take Trooper walkies on a cool morning
Enjoy your walkies, mate. Really terrible result there for us. It now means that Forest are another one of four sides on nine points along with Leeds.
Next up on USA is Everton v. Palace - not the most inspiring match. I'll be turning over to the Haaland show on Peacock.
I'm settling in for the Citeh v. Brighton match now. Here are the teams:
Manchester City: Ederson, Cancelo, Akanji, Dias, Laporte, De Bruyne, Rodri, Grealish, Silva, Mahrez, Haaland.
Subs: Moreno, Stones, Ake, Gundogan, Alvarez, Gomez, Foden, Palmer, Lewis.
Brighton: Sanchez, Veltman, Dunk, Webster, Gross, Mac Allister, Caicedo, Trossard, March, Lallana, Welbeck.
Subs: Steele, Lamptey, Colwill, Sarmiento, Enciso, Undav, Gilmour, Van Hecke, Estupinan.
Brighton inexplicably in all orange today. They look like the Dutch national team.
Citeh onto the front foot immediately.
A hot, steaming bowl of oatmeal has arrived at my shoulder.
Teemu Pukki takes advantage of a mistake from Sheffield United goalkeeper Adam Davies to give Norwich City an early lead at Bramall Lane.
I probably won't be around for the 10 AM matches. Two of Jacquelyn's tires are flat from running over a nail at work last night, so a lot to handle before the late match. I should be around for the late match
GOAL ! DCL GIVES THE TOFFEES THE LEAD VS PALACE
Milovojevic tackled deep in his own half then several passes later nice skill from DCL to turn a defender then to pass the ball into the corner ff the goal
Dominic Calvert-Lewin reminds the watching Gareth Southgate of his credentials with a fine finish for Everton, who have dominated Crystal Palace in the early stages. Everton 1-0 up.
Welcome back, mate! How was the walkies?
Teemu Pukki scores his and Norwich City’s second goal of the game against Sheffield United after being put through on goal by a ball over the top from Max Aarons. Wahay!
Oh - Haaland was in there and he wants a penalty. There will be a VAR check.
The check is complete and the decision is "No penalty." I'm surprised. I thought there was contact with Sanchez.
Unbeaten in 12 Championship games, Burnley trail Sunderland to an Amad Diallo goal on 16 minutes. Meanwhile at Ewood Park, Blackburn lead Birmingham City courtesy of a goal from Sam Gallagher.
GOAL! This time Haaland makes no mistake! Runs through onto a long ball from Ederson. He bullied the defender off the ball and slotted home.
1-0 Citeh!
So that's 21st goal for Citeh, 16 of them in the Premier League.
That goal brings Citeh back one point from Arsenal who play tomorrow.
The goals are flying in at Loftus Road, where QPR lead Wigan 2-1. Sam Field opened the scoring for QPR, Nathan Broadhead equalised for the visitors and almost immediately, Leon Balogun restored the league leaders’ advantage.
Citeh have a chance to double their lead from the penalty spot. No guesses as to who's going to take it. Haaland with the ball.
No messing about. 2-0. Haaland scores his 22nd goal for Citeh; 17 now in the Prem.
I'm back after a refreshing shower; Brighton have got one back through Trossard.
KDB has added a third goal for Citeh with a lovely curler.
Haaland comes off to a hero's ovation. A brace today for him.
Back for the late one from SB.
COME ON MAN UNITED!
They're off from SB .
COME ON MAN UNITED!
The Chelsea Kept does well too turn around a shot from Antony
A Mounted pass is cleared away by Varane for a Chelsea corner
Great close range block by the Chelsea Kepa from Rash
Another good save by the Chelsea Kepa from Rash
Comfortable save by the Chelsea Kepa from Sancho
OH! Inches wide by Antony with just the Chelsea Kepa to beat. A minute of stoppage time
It's 0-0 at the half and I'm reasonably pleased with United's first half performance as they had more chances away to a top four team
The second half is underway from SB
Just checking in at the hour mark - still at 0-0. That wouldn't be the worst result for either side, but Antony should have scored in the first half.
Welcome back, Bob. Still 0-0. Trevor Chalobah had a header off a corner clip theta of the bar then Bruno had a shot on the hop from 30 yards out turned around from the Chelsea Kepa
Puli came on for Aubama , who had the sense not to pull any of Skippy's antics despite looking unhappy about it
Armando Broja on for Sterling , who also looks displeased. Not sure why as he's done precious little
Double change for United .Elanga on for Rash and McTomain for Eriksen. Graham Harry Potter brings Chewbacka on for a Tongue N Cheek substitution.
BUGGER! PENALTY TO CHELASEA
There it is off the Chelsea corner and a clash of two subs as Armando Broja gets McTomain poisoning after being rugby tackled from the corner
Jorginho , stupid stutter step and all to take
Fred talks himself into the book
BUGGER! JORGINHO SCORES FROM THE SPOT IN TYPICAL FASHION. PLACED IN THE CORNER, SENDING DE GEA THE WORNG WAY
Half a dozen stoppage time minutes
WAY HAY!CASEMIRTE TIES IT UP REALLY LATE. HEADER TIPPED ON TO THEW INSIDE OF THE POST BY THE CHELSEA KEPA AND CREPT MILLIMETERS OVER THE LINE
It started off a long throw by Dilly Dalot and bout of head tennis in the box. Then cleared by Thiago Silva . Elanga passed he ball and nice cross sure was headed in by Casemiro
It's over and its finishes 1-1 in a dramatic final few minutes.
That's it for me. Look forward to chatting tomorrow.
CHEERS!
