FA Cup 3rd Round Sunday
Morning, boys - I'm just getting going on this FA Cup 3rd Round Sunday, about an hour from kick-off between Cardiff and Leeds. This is obviously my highlight today. There is a lot of bad blood between these sides, much of it due to the legacy of Peter Ridsdale. But this is a new era and I expect to see a slate of young players for us today who weren't even alive back in 2002 when Cardiff did a giantkilling number on us.
After that, the late one is Arsenal v. Oxford United. Join me for all the fun today.

The line-up: Robles, Firpo, Christensen, Struijk, Llorente, Gyabi, Greenwood, Aaronson, Summerville, Gelhardt, Gnonto.
We're underway at Ninian Park - MOT!
Oh - so close from Gyabi!
Aaronson goes down in the box - nothing doing. Great start!
Good morning Bob. Same weather here as in Cardiff.
Summerville is chopped down by Sang who gets a yellow card for it - Cry walks off gingerly.
Oh - Summerville really should have hit the target!
Bugger! A mess at the back an the Bluebirds are 1-0 up!
And now Willy Gnonto picks up a yellow card for simulation. Not good.
And now Struijk is in the book for a hack. Not good.
Morning, David - sorry that it's raining in your corner of the world. A bit dreary here, albeit no rain.
Oh balls! Cardiff are 2-0 up now. Another defensive blunder.
A long way back now. Grrr!
Cardiff two up . Really sorry mate, but it looks like six consecutive third round exits. Ojo puts Cardiff two up after a back header from Llorente off a routine cross.
Oh - Willy Gnonto gets his head onto the corner but puts it over.
Definitely looks like it, unless we can put on a second half come-back. I just don't understand our FA Cup hoodoo.
I'd like to see wholesale changes at half-time.
Agreed, mate. It's a decent starting lineup. Maybe subbing the keeper at the half. Really sorry mate.
TT is leaving ESPN after thirteen years. That might brighten your day.
Second half starting up - I'm shocked that there haven't been any changes.
I need something to brighten my day. I feel bad for the fans who are standing in the rain watching this nonsense.
Hope that helps. What do you make of that news?
Cardiff are just not very good - how are they beating us today?
I'm quite surprised - why give up a good position like that? Is he running for office?
Three changes to come - Rodrigo, Drameh and are new boy Max Wober to the rescue.
Oh - Rodrigo nearly in there straight away.
Summerville, Gyabi and Kristensen the ones pulled off.
I heard rumors that TT might be working for Apple TV. As long as we don't have to watch Apple TV and he and Lexi aren't in the same room then fine with me..
Oh - how did Pascal miss that header?!
Agreed about Cardiff. They're in a slump in the Championship. At least not as embarrassing as the Toon and Coventry yesterday.
Does Apple TV have any designs on showing footie?
Agreed, Bob. A poor Struijch by Pascal with his head. He thinks therefore he's not.
I sure hope not. We have enough ROKU channels showing footie as is. I'm not sure to be honest.
Better pressure from us now.
YESSSSSS!!!!!
Rodrigo strikes again!
2-1!
WAY HAY! Rodrigo pulls one back for Leeds off the bench. Nice header even though the keeper got a hand to it.
Congratulations, mate. Tie back on.
My apologies if I'm not picking at your post, but the Gunners go to Oxford tomorrow. The late ones today are Villa vs Stevenage and Citeh vs Chelsea.
YESSSSS!!!
We've got a penalty now! And a red card!
WAY HAY PENALTY LEEDS AND RED CARD TO CARDIFF. DEFENDER INTENTIONALLY HANDLED ON THE LINE
Rodrigo to take. BUGGER! Alynwick saves. Sorry, mate
We've got a chance now. Rodrigo to take...
Oh no! Keeper saves - not a great penalty.
Willy Gnonto has a problem now.
Sonny Perkins set to replace Gnonto now. Come on, Sonny - it's hero time!
No - Gnonto is still on.
Oh - how did Matteo Joseph miss that one?!
Five minutes of stoppage time to come.
Sonny Perkins sounds like a cigar smoking director from New York. Not sure if that's what the doc ordered.
Stupid foul by Rodrigo. It gives Cardiff a chance to waste some time with the free kick.
LOL! Nice one, David - but Perkins has been ripping it up with Joseph in the U23s.
YESSSSSS!!!!!!!
It's hero time for Sonny!
Way HAY ! DESMOND. SONNY PERKINS DEFLECTS IN A SHOT FROM FELLOW TEENAGE SUB MATTY FERNANDEZ FOR A YEAR TIMELY FIRST LEEDS GOAL.. CONGRATULATIONS, BOB.
Now go on and win it!
Leeds fans now singing the old Joy Division anthem with dripping irony!
An extra unneeded match , but at least Leeds is still in the Cup.
Well - we don't do anything easy, do we? We had so many chances to win this one, but in the end it means a replay at Elland Road next week. A chance to get a few punters through the turnstiles and give the second team another run out. Why not?
I'm back after some dishes to watch the marquee match-up for this round. Man City v. Chelsea. These sides are playing for the second time in a week.
I'm back after running some errands. Villa one up vs Stevenage at the half while Citeh three up vs Chelsea at the half.
Well, well, well, mate. So Villa failed to put away Stevenage as two comical errors allowed for two late Stevenage goals from subs as they record a 1-2 giant killing at Villa Park. Citeh thrashed Chelsea 4-0.
