Premiership Plus Predictions Game - Penultimate Update
Evening, PPPers - well, we've reached the end of a very long season. This past week, we saw Sevilla crowned the Europa League champions - thus benefiting Someone Said to the tune of four points - and Man City claiming a domestic double by winning the FA Cup Final on Saturday - with AZ Kicker, Swansong, and Teddy Goalesevelt by six points. Luton Town also secured a shock promotion to the Premier League through the Playoff Final - sadly, no one predicted that one.
This is also the time of the season where I often check in with the LOB's resident statistician Man United Rules to double-check my calculations. So, some of you will notice that I've been slighting you a few points here or there on the updates - apologies for that and many thanks to MUR for noting those errors.
So, with only the UEFA Conference League Final on Wednesday (with several predicting a West Ham win) and the Champions League Final on Saturday (with several predicting a Man City treble win) and the PFA Awards to be announced soon, we have a tie score at the top of the standings between Red Devil 1FCK and Teddy on 42 points with several in hot pursuit. It should be a nail-biting conclusion:
1. Red Devil 1FCK - 42 points
- Teddy Goalesevelt - 42 pts
3. Man Utd Rules - 41 pts
4. Red Dragon - 40 pts
5. Bee's Knees - 38 pts
- United We Stand - 38 pts
7. Blue Devil - 36 pts
8. oticoN - 33 pts
- West Ham Rising - 33 pts
10. Swansong - 30 pts
11. Gooner71 - 28 pts
12. Someone Said - 18 pts
13. MOT the Hoople - 15 pts
14. AZ Kicker - 8 pts
