Lakenheath Old Boys

We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

O'Leary - Going, Going, Gone....

O'dear, O'dear. David O'Leary hasn't even made it to the new season. Villa have sacked him with a month to go. He's now been sacked by two clubs and what used to look like a promising career for a young manager - remember the "O'Leary Babes?" - is now in tatters. Comments, gents?

O'Leary's damaged goods now.

His decision to pen a book while Bows and Woody were in the dock is a stain that his shambolic reign at Villa hasn't erased. He doesn't seem to have the character that you'd want in a manager of your club.

He worked for two of the more revolting men in the game, Ridsdale and Ellis. That indicates lack of judgement by O'Leary which is a worrying sign too.

Will he find another club? That the equally disgraceful Warnock and Piltdown Sam are employed would indicate yes. I just hope that the US Fed isn't fooled.
