Billy Bragg's Top Ten
The Guardian newspaper today published an excellent list of books about being British compiled by singer, songwriter and all round good guy Billy Bragg. I'll second Billy's recommendations of the Orwell, Hill, Thompson and particularly the Jon Savage book on punk. Check it out at:

I'll third the Savage book and propose an addition. "Those Feet" by David Winner.
Life ain't all politics Billy-boy!
It is true that I've never heard Billy say anything one way or 'tuther about the footie. Not sure he supports a particular side or not. Definitely a lapse in judgement. He should at least second the "Come on you Reds," sentiment!
