Lakenheath Old Boys

We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

Interesting draw
I was having my fingers crossed when Lile came up. If it wasn't Lille it would have been Barca, Inter or Real!!!!
So, of course I am a happy chappy.(watch us lose)
Jose goes back to Porto.
Arsenal should do well against PSV
Liverpool has the the tough one.
A battle of giants with Real and Bayern.
Celtic take on Milan.

Role on February.

Hopefully, Leeds will be out of the relegation zone by then.

I agree, both our teams dodged the most difficult of opponents left. Didn't want Barca or Lyon, or any of the English teams.

I sort of fancy Celtic to get something. Enough in Milan and something at home? Might happen.

I think Celtic may get through Milan.
None of the English teams could meet each other.
I am just glad missing Barca and Real. I didn't want Ruud coming back and hurting us.

Was that part of the draw, that two teams from the same country could not meet or just a factor of the English clubs coming top of their respective groups?

I've just read up a bit and Davey's right, they'd made a rule that at this stage, no two teams from the same country could be drawn together.

Porto v Chelsea's interesting. Good luck Porto. Chelsea scum deserve a chinning and they're stacked with the thugs who'll be ready to do it.

OK, can anyone say why they can't tell us what day these matches are to be played yet?
