Lakenheath Old Boys

We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

FA Cup 4th Round Draw!

I'm guessing that Gooner won't be well please with this draw which pits his beloved Arse against Big Sam's "Goblin Horde," but how will Dave feel about a draw against high-flying Pompey? All fixtures will be played January 27. Here's the full draw:

Arsenal v Bolton Wanderers
West Ham United v Watford
Bristol City or Coventry City v Hull City or Middlesbrough
Chelsea v Nottingham Forest
Chester City or Ipswich Town v Swansea City
Cardiff City or Tottenham Hotspur v Southend United or Barnsley
Barnet or Colchester United v Peterborough United or Plymouth Argyle
Birmingham City or Newcastle United v Reading or Burnley
Derby County v Bristol Rovers
Sheffield Wednesday or Manchester City v Southampton
Crystal Palace v Preston North End
Manchester United v Portsmouth
Blackpool v Norwich City
Queens Park Rangers or Luton Town v Blackburn Rovers
Wolverhampton Wanderers or Oldham Athletic v West Bromwich Albion
Leicester City or Fulham v Stoke City

At least it's not away. And we should beat them every time so maybe this is the time to restore the natural order.

Clearly it's in the best interests of football for every team to look to just bash them off the pitch and send them back to the mines of Mordor once and for all. Who'd miss them?

That said, I'd have preferred any of the winners of the Barnet Colchester Peterborough Plymouth replays.

Hell, I'd have taken Chelsea away! Always next season/concentrate of the league (mutter, mutter, sigh)

I am a litte bummed about getting Pompey.
They were my pre-season pick for the Cup. I guess that out the window now!!!!

Lucky Chelski get a home draw.
Come on Forest. Cloughie's ghost to some haunting!!!

Forest did look good on Saturday and could easily give Chelski a game, although of course Chelski aren't shite like Charlton are.

ManYoo vs. Pompey - c'mon Dave - give one up for the family roots, eh?
