Lakenheath Old Boys
We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

Why isn't Kennelworth Road full??
Rovers just scored a nice goal
Does anyone know why and when did Luton change their colors away from orange?
Blackburn get another.
Two nil to Rovers
Good morning Sir Trev.
Of course, that must be the reason.
I think they should change back to orange for the second half.
Don't forget to add Kathy. I am so lucky that all the boys and the missus enjoys watching.
No, it wasn't a trivia question. I have no idea.
West Ham need a good cup run. I think it will help them in the league.
The Hammers play Liverpool at Upton Park on Tuesday. I hope you do yourselves and me a favor. That should be the game on TV but we have to settle for Boro and Pompey.
Pompey was my preseason pick for the Cup but I would gladly be wrong.
United are going Wembley, Ronaldlo's knees trembley
Three Nil
Derbyshire scores his second and he made the other one.
He looks like a good player.
Why didn't he put the couple chances he had against the Arse away.
I thought this game might throw up a giant killer but it aint' going to happen.
I am now going for Bristol City knocking off Middlesbrough
Another cracker from Pederson.
Four nil
Game over.
Now for the three o'clock games.
Hope more of you are out there.
Heya Dave: I'm in Gville today without access to FSC, but I'm following along on the Internet.
Not much at stake for my lot today. Even the Coke match is between two teams that are safely in mid-table. I suppose a Leicester loss would be best for us.
Good to hear from you Bob.
I am in my normal spot.
TV on, computer on, Talksport on
Big one for you guys this Tuesday.
Away to Hull.
YIKES!!!
I would already be nervous
Yeah, crunch time. Six pointer. Dogfight. Do or die. All the usual cliches.
Kick off time!!!
Bobby Zamora's already gone close hitting the crossbar for West Ham against relegation rivals Watford.
Only 5,000 turned up at Kennilworth Road.
That is pathetic for a cup tie against Premiership team.
Reading score a real early one for Reading at Birmingham.
Bang goes my giant killer pick.
Bristol City are losing to Boro
Talksport is talking about the magic of the FA Cup.
They say it is still there. Not as much as before but it is still there.
I still have think of it as great. Why has it lost the luster. The managers are ones.
Don't blame United from 2000. What do other teams care if United aren't in.
I still think Brum have a good chance of an upset today. Although it's not much of an upset really. Both sides will be fighting it out in the Prem next season. Brum are really good. Dave Kitson on the score sheet for Reading - he scored buckets of goals last season but hasn't been that prolific this season.
My giant killer pick for this round is Forest over Chelski. The Blues are in a mess and Forest are a good Division 1 side.
Fulham has scored against Stoke.
The Italian, Montella, scores again
I'lll take that pick Robert
Goal for Spurs
Of course, FSC hasn't showed it yet.
I HATE IT
Yeah, Montella's had an impressive start for them in the Cup. He scored two in the last round to rescue them - or was that the Carling Cup? Anyway, he's looking a good purchase, but what does it mean for our lad Brian McBride?
I think McBride is ok.
Coleman likes him.
They are both playing today.
Leeds old boy Robbie Keane scores for Spurs - how was the goal, lad?
Cambridge have scored at home to Woking.
They went 1-0 up last week and lost four one.
They really need a win. They are in the drop zone of the Conference
EMPTY SEATS EVERYWHERE!!!
WHY?
Deflection after a quick break out of defence
Do you think maybe there was a cold snap in the UK this week? It's been freakishly cold and windy over there recently.
Of course nothing like upstate NY though. Florida - a balmy 65 today, ta very much.
Yes, there was some snow as well.
NY has had a very mild winter. Hardly any snow. We have a couple inches on the ground. It was like 10 degrees yesterday.
Take your 65 and stick up your left nostril.
Spurs are all over Southend.
Cardiff are beating Leicester
Boro two up
Boro have been rampant recently. They stuffed Bolton last weekend. Stuart Downing seems to have found his form again and is pinging balls in at Yakubu and Viduka's heads for easy goals.
McBride scores for Fulham
Cambridge two up
The Hammers have fallen behind to Watford
Reading score a second
Good old Brian McBride - what a workhorse!
Shame about the Hammers - where's Sir Trev?
Norwich score a late goal at Blackpool
If you read earlier, he is watch Dora The Explorer
I did read that but I couldn't believe that he wouldn't be able nudge his daughter off the telly. I guess I don't understand parenting these days.
Norwich have taken a last second lead before half time through Darren Huckerby.
According to FSC, Portsmouth are beating West Ham 1-0 at half. How on earth are they going to get to Old Trafford from London for 12:15 kick off.
I am even more confident about United
Off to take Matt to basketball. I will be home in about 15 minutes.
Think of me driving in snow!!!
Dora's got the cultured left foot, obviously. Morning, Trev!
(I'm picturing Dave as some character out of Fargo trying desperately to scrape the icy gunge off the side windows of his weather-beaten four door sedan before he explodes in a rage of existential angst)
Spurs have gone 2-0 up through Jermaine Jenas.
Football 365 comments: "Magic of the Cup? All four Premiership leads now lead 2-0 against lower league opposition."
Oh dear - "Filthy Lucre" Neill has limped out of West Ham's game against Watford. It only gets worse at Upton Park.
Bristol City have pulled one back against Boro.
Montella has got his second and Fulham look home and dry at 3-0. Montella and McBride look to be a cracking partnership.
Suddenly things have tighted up. Bristol City out of nowhere have got an equalizer against Boro. Game on!
Brum have knocked one in against Reading.
Norwich are now 1-1.
I'm off to teach and I'll check in with you lads tomorrow when Chelski will hopefully slip up on the banana skin that is Nottingham Forest.
Good to talk Bob,
maybe my choice for Giant Killling is going to be right

Pompey are dominating
United are beginnning to turn the screw
Vidic had a header cleared off the line.
United say it was over. I can't wait to see it.
Do you know who "cleared it" off the line?
Pedro Mendes. The same guy who had it happen to him at OT a few years ago.
Definitely should have been a goal
Brother Mike just emailed.
He is watching it on the BBC and he said it was absolutely a goal.
Half time at Old Trafford.
United have had most of the play but Pompey have played their part.
United had a perfectly good goal not given but still nil-nil
Second half underway
Primus should have buried an early header in the second half. Phew
Pompey are having the best chances of the second half
Larrson has put it in the net but it was called back for offside. Bugger
Great strike by Scholes but a great save from James.
Rooney comes on for Solskjaer
'Appy 'Arry brings on Kanu for Cole.
Coley gets a good reception as he departs
I don't think Sir Alex should have taken off Ole.
Should have taken Park and put either Ole or Roon on the right
GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ROONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rooney's goal was scored with 15 minutes to go.
Now there is 10. GET ANOTHER GOAL
ROONEY SCORES AGAIN.
A BRILLIANT CHIP!!!!
LOVERLY JUBBERLY
I can't wait to see it.
They are saying it was brilliant.
Hope Skysports show it tonight
Let me see, two goal in the last 15 minutes.
WENGER, we run out of gas after 70??????
Pompey score one.
Bugger, four minutes to go
Park should have scored United's third
He sucks
Game over
Que Sera sera.... we're going to Wembley.
See you guys tomorrow
