Lakenheath Old Boys
We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

Good shot from Sheva.
I hope his goals against Wycombe didn't wake him up
Morning, Dave!
Morning Bob, are you home watching the tellie?
Yeah, I'm at home finally. So, have you had a chance to see Rooney's goals from yesterday? I hear one is a potential goal of the season.
Yes, I did see it. It was just a classy chip into the top corner.
Matt said it was actually on ESPN SportsCenter as number 2 for plays of the day.
Bugger Sheve scored. OG?
That's a pretty bobbly shot that's deflected in, but they all count and I'd count it in Sheva's tally. Three goals in two games. Maybe he's starting to come good after all this time. That's a frightening prospect for other sides.
Forest having been in with a shout so far
I should have typed HAVE'NT
Interesting that the Chelski scrubs are doing the damage.
This doens't look good.
Chelski are all over them and look like they are playing as a team. I hope this doesn't give them a boost for the league
Great free kick.
Game over.
Bugger, I was looking forward to this one
So much for you giant killer!!!
Of course, my GK was down two nil and got a draw
Just call me Nostradamus - two nil Chelski. This is scary. Is the crisis at Stamford Bridge over. Drogs scores to say "yes."
According to the BBC
POSSESSION
70% 30%
Chelsea Nottm Forest
This one's over.
I predict Forest are going to break and score and the Chelski's nervous nellies will come out.
Let's hope so - I'm with you on that.
THE BALL WAS IN THE CHELSKI BOX!!!!
The game is definitely over
comical defending
I guess I can shower without worring about missing the match
Did you see the Rooney goal just then?
Half-time: Very disappointing from Forest. They didn't even come in with a basic attitude toward keeping it tight. That's essential when you're playing a Premiership side. It is well and truly over.
Great goal from Roon - hope he can do the same for Engerlund.
Ohh, Forest were a toe nail away from scoring
Well, since this one is over, there is only one more chance for an upset.
COME ON BOLTON!!!!
Face it, mate. It's not happening for Forest today. You've got to concentrate on United not dropping points because on this form Chelski will run you tight until the end of the season.
Southampton have just scored at Citeh
Citeh have tied it up
Look, Chelski have played thier last two games and have, so far, scored nine goals.
BUT they have played Wycombe and Forest!!!
Leeds younster, stolen by Chelski, is on
Citeh have taken the lead
There was an interesting discussion on the Game podcast with Danny Kelly this week. They did a survey of academy players who made at least ten appearances for Premiership sides. The team with the most players who had come through a team's academy? ManYoo with nine (five who still play at Old Trafford; for like Phil Neville who are playing elsewhere).
Leeds were third with six including people like Robbo, Woody, Aaron Lennon and Jamie Milner.
Who were second,
Liverpool?
Arsenal were second with eight players. You'd be surprised how many young players are trained at Highbury, never get a look-in under Arsene and then end up playing in the Championship or Premiership on loan. Jermaine Pennant, for one example.
The most interesting one was Wimbledon, who trained three current Premiership players (Nigel Reo-Coker is one) and now don't even exist!
Liverpool weren't that high on the list. Chelski and West Ham were four and five.
Now the Arse are up. I thought for sure FSC would carry this match, but it's Serie A instead. Shame.
The BBC,not Sky, picked the United and Arsenal matches. I think that has something to do with it
According to Talksport, Bolton are on top so far.
Goal at Eastlands
Citeh get a third Beasley scores
Half time at The Emirates.
Goaless. COME ON BOLTON!!!
Citeh go through 3-1.
Fifth Round of the FA Cup
Nine teams from Prem.
Five teams from the Coke.
Two ties still to be decided.
It could end up with another Prem and Coke team OR TWO DIV 1 teams.
Pretty ho-hum
I am having an agrument, through email, with my buddies about sibling greats.
It all came about with the Williams sisters in tennis.
One of my buddies gave a lot of hockey players.Who cares!!
I said the Charlton brothers.
Anyone got any suggestions?
BOLTON HAVE SCORED!!!!
It was not a long ball goal.
Great passing
Half an hour left for the Arse to pull this game out of the flames. Will it be another heroic finish for the Gunners this weekend?
DON'T BRING UP LAST WEEKEND!!!
What do you say to my sibling question?
Surely it's time for some changes, perhaps another appearance from "The Beast?" Two goals in midweek (three if you count the o.g.); what's Arsene's thinking at present?
Bring on RVP, oh sorry, he is out for the season. Lovely jubbly
Serves him right for what he did last weekend
Off come defender Hoytt on comes The Beast
About time too - they're down to about fifteen minutes!
Siblings?
A little unkind on RVP, don't you think? It's not like anyone has called for breaking Skippy's toe.....oh right, never mind.
ANSWER MY SIBLINGS QUESTION, WILL YA!
Typical
Arsenal get an equalizer!!
Toure with a diving header.
12 minutes to go
Seven minutes to go.
You know what is going to happen
Injury time
What was the question about siblings again, mate?
What is the best sibling duo in the world of sport.
The Williams sisters.
My friend gave a bunch of hockey players.
I said the Charlton brothers.
What do you think?
Game over.
ANOTHER GAME FOR THE ARSE
Full-time: Both sides will be pleased. Arsenal clawed their way back into it against their bogey team and Bolton have a replay at the Reebok to look forward to.
Replay on Valentine's Day
Best siblings? That's easy - Eddie and Frank Gray, mate! The tartan duo!
Stuart Pearce has been confirmed as Under 21 coach.
Your thoughts?
Oh my buddies would love that one
Just found out that today was the last EVER Grandstand.
A 48 year run.
How sad.
First Top of the Pops and now Grandstand
Very sad to hear about the end of Grandstand. Everything's changing. No more Tiswas, TOTP, Grandstand. Next they'll be saying that the BBC has been bought up by Rupert Murdoch.
You sound like a real Yank, Sir Trev
