Lakenheath Old Boys

We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

Entertaining Match

I was able to go to a friend's house to watch this match.
Arsenal ran riot over Chelski and definitely deserved to be in the lead.
Drogba's goal could have been offside.
Chelsea fans were throwing celery at the Arsenal players.
Terry's injury was nasty
Droba's second was a great header
The brawl was nasty. Two Arsenal and one Chelsea players sent off. Lamps and Cesc should have been sent off as well.
Adebayor could be in major trouble with his actions after being sent off.
Amazing scenes.
Over 100 minutes of play

The Special One and The Whinger both came running on the field. I wonder if they will get in trouble.

As well as the Carling Cup, VERY VERY bad news for West Ham. Wigan win and move NINE points clear of The Hammers

Hey Dave, thanks for the summary. I didnae watch it because it wasn't on FSC, but it did sound like a right old ding dong. The celery ritual apparently is connected the traditional Chelski ditty "Celery" I wasn't surprised that Arsene ran out a second team against Chelski because I never thought he was that concerned about the Carling Cup. I'm concerned about Terry's condition, but apparently he was conscious but groggy as they carted him to hospital - concussion probably? I'll look forward to seeing the highlights tomorrow morning on the Canadian show.
