Lakenheath Old Boys

We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

THE QUARTER FINALS

Here is the draw

Middlesbrough/WBA vs Manchester United/Reading
Arsenal/Blackburn vs Manchester City
Chelsea vs Tottenham Hotspur
Plymouth Argyle vs Watford

The big three kept apart again. Chelsea gets another home draw. Glad to see that Plymouth/Watford will make the semis. Let's hope it is Argyle

Lucky, lucky Chelski! But Jose's probably moaning that they didn't get Plymouth at home!

Interesting question came up on the 606 over the weekend:

"Which ex-United player and current manager would make the best replacement for Sir Alex - Keano, Sparky or Coppell?"

Any thoughts, Dave?

I would think Keano and Coppell would be my favorites.
I used to rate Sparky but his negativity has disturbed me. Maybe if he had better players he would be more attacking.
United will probably get O'Neil or some foreigner for their next manager
