Lakenheath Old Boys

We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

A Great Day for the English!

Hurrah! It was a terrific day for Liverpool and Chelsea fans, who will be celebrating into the wee hours after moving on to the Champions League quarterfinals. Liverpool were put under the cosh after a 75th minute strike from ex-Chelski boy Eidur Gudjohnsson, but held their nerve to win on the away goals rule. Chelski saw off those divers from Porto with goals from Robben and a winner from the big Bollocks himself. Incredible! More of the same tomorrow, please.

Absolutely, Dave. I always pull for the English sides in Europe, even now when their "Englishness" is almost ironic. I'd love to see all four English sides in the semi-finals.
