Lakenheath Old Boys

We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

Whyoming?

In an ordinary election year, the three Democrats who happen to be unlucky enough to be living in Wyoming - presumably they're the Comparative Literature department at UW - don't get much of a look-in when it comes to the nomination. But this ain't your ordinary election year, so all eyes will be on Casper tonight in what the hacks at MSNBC will no doubt dub the "Brokeback Primary." (sigh)

At the 5 p.m. mark, Obama looks to have a handy lead in Wyoming and the Clinton camp are already excusing the result by stating that Wyoming doesn't count. Typical.

Well, it was a walk-over tonight.

Obama - 61%
Clinton - 38%

That means of the 12 pledged delegates up for grabs tonight, Obama gets 7 to Clinton's 4 with one still to be determined. Six delegates remaining are of the notorious superdelegate category.

On to Mississippi on Tuesday and another certain Obama victory.
