Lakenheath Old Boys
We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

My predictions for this weekend's fixtures:
Arsenal 2 WBA 0
Bolton 0 Stoke 1
Everton 2 Blackburn 1
Hull 1 Fulham 0
Boro 0 Spurs 3
West Ham 1 Wigan 1
Sunderland 0 Liverpool 2
Chelsea 2 Pompey 2
Villa 0 Citeh 0
ManYoo 2 Newcastle 0
And I'm off to a fine start already, Nasri tucking in Arsenal's first goal on the 4th minute. Now I just need one more for a perfect result.
Full-time at the Emirates and the Arsenal (and I) got the win in the bank but not the 2-niller that I was hoping for. Where's the fire-power, Arsene? This was a chance to put down a marker against one of the promoted sides.
Hey Bob,
I am here.
I thought you weren't going to be around. It is moving weekend, no?
I like the pre-game show here. Warren 'Londoner' Barton
The Arse win 1-0. Your prediction was a little off.
Of course, there's a full schedule in the Championship and League 1, where my beloved Leeds take on Oldham. We've got a 100% record so far, so let's hope it continues.
Still on your side
Hey mate, I am here. I'm staying with friends for a couple of days before flying out tomorrow morning. So, I don't have access to FSC this weekend but I'm following on Football 365.
Did you sign up for Simon's game? It's really good. You've still got two minutes to get your results for the remaining fixtures in.
FSC have just started with Everton vs Blackburn
THE SEASON HAS STARTED!!
I didn't see what Simon sent
Robbo makes his first save as a Rover
The Hammers take an early lead
Ashton with a 3rd minute goal
Howay with the new season!
Go to http://iknowthescore.premierleague.com/
Look for "Mini-League" on the left
Enter FCF27-VXH to reach Simon's league.
Make your predictions for next week and you're away.
The Blades are beating QPR
will do.
Of coure, United will win EVERY week
Bloody Southend have taken an early lead and top the Division 1 table. Scunthorpe are also 1-0 up.
There is a goal at Hull and it goes to Fulham.
You should open up the Sky Sportscentre.
I like the new features.
THE HAMMERS ARE TWO UP. Ashton again
Magic! I just flicked on the Olympic coverage and it's Argentina led by Juan Roman Riquelme against Holland. Replay of the 1978 WC Final, no less.
Well, that's blown my Hull pick. I thought they might get up for one match. If they're going to lose to the likes of Fulham at home on the first day, it's going to be a painful season for Hull fans.
Brighton are beating Forest
Swansea are up against Forest
Sunthorpe have been pegged back by Walsall and are down to ten men
Reading are beating Plymouth
Coventry are beating Barnsley
League leader Shef Wed. have taken the lead at Wolves
Carlisle have taken the lead against Crewe
Carlisle and Brighton have also jumped out to early leads in Div. 1.
THe Blades are two up
Sorry, I missed your earlier messages.
Sir Alex is at Goodison
Mostly Blackburn right now
Carlisle are two up
That's an interesting match, because I think both Everton and Blackburn could struggle this season. They've lost key players and haven't brought in much.
Great curling effort by David Dunne.
Howard had no hope.
Ince is a happy chappy
Crewe has got one back at Carlisle
I do wish Paul Ince the best, but I think it's a bit of a hiding to nothing.
Why do you think Everton will struggle?
As for Rovers, I am stunned they let BF go
Blackburn are slicing Everton apart!!
HULL CITY HAVE SCORED THEIR FIRST EVER TOP FLIGHT GOAL
Geovanni ties it up
As I said, they've lost Andy Johnson and haven't brought in significant replacements. Any team who doesn't improve over the summer is going to get left behind at this point.
Paul Ince is on the sideline dressed in a suit... put on your tracksuit Guv!!!
Well done, Hull!
Nah, I think a manager looks like a twat in a tracksuit. The Armani suit is the way to go.
Well Incey thinks like you
Watford have scored against Charlton
What a PLONKER
1514: Remarkable story coming in from Burnley... the game against Ipswich has been delayed after a parachutist got stuck on the roof. The unfortunate fella was one of seven scheduled to land inside the ground but he misjudged his landing.
Cambridge have scored. Well on their way to three wins out of three
Bolton have taken the lead against new boys Stoke
That's another prediction blown. The new boys are not faring well.
Bolton have scored another
Love that parachutist story. Good stuff.
Southampton have taken the lead against Birmingham
Arteta scores a very undeserved equalizer at Goodison. Curled in the front post from the side of the penalty box
Half time at Goodison.
All Blackburn but two great goals at either end means it is all even
Oh dear, Stoke have given away #3 at the stroke of half time
It sounds like Robbo had a clanger on his Blackburn debut. Not a good sign.
FSC are saying the score at the Reebok is 1-0. They're two off!!
Who will be worse - Stoke or Hull? On this evidence, it's Stoke. I always heard that they played good football in the Championship. But if you don't keep it tight at the back, you'll get punished in the Premiership.
They are off in the second half
I can't get any scores right now.
Sky Sports has gone all whacko right now!
Wigan get a goal back at Upton Park
I'm off to the movies - I'll check in with you tomorrow, mate.
Take care, have a safe trip up North
Feed the Yak and he will score.
They did and he did!!
2-1 to Everton
BUT
Santa has also delivered!!!
Santa Cruz gets it back right away!
Oh Dear
Leeds are two down at home!!
A 16 year old comes on for Everton
Typical Spurs
They are losing at Boro
New Boys Hull have taken the lead against Fulham!!!
Spurs are two down!!!
Nice prediction Blue Devil!!!
The 16 year old should have scored the winner
Three minutes of added time at Goodison
BLACKBURN HAVE SCORED THE WINNER!!
Well deserved for Incey and his boys.
Everton kick off and then it is over!!!
Good start for FSC
Long may their matches be high scoring!!
Spurs get one back but surely it is too late
It is.
Full time at the Riverside
Boro win 2-1
West Ham hold on for a 2-1 win
Bad news for Bob
Leeds lose at home to Oldham.
Stoke score their first Prem goal but are still losing 3-1
Congratulation Hull!!
Hull win 2-1
Here are the scores
Bolton 3 Stoke 1
Everton 2 Blackburn 3
Hull 2 Fulham 1
Boro 2 Spurs 1
West Ham 2 Wigan 1
With the late game and the Sunday fixtures, Bob's predictions fell pretty flat!!
Just a Hull and Gunner win saves Dahlgen's blushes!
Spurs
FORTY MILLION OF NEW TALENT AND THIS IS WHAT YOU GET!!
Berba... move on!!
1715: The table has updated and who's that at the top of the league? It's only blimmin Bolton! Blackburn, Hull and Middlesbrough make up the Champions League places, with West Ham in the Uefa Cup as it stands, with just the 37 games remaining.
Bugger, Torres scores a corker and Costa Del Pool win 1-0
Typical. I'm a good sport and go to a silly Star Wars animation with my mates and my boys lose at home to bloody Oldham. Ah well, the perfect record is gone but it's the beginning of a long season. Three predictions right today. Not a bad start.
