We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

Thanks for posting those crackers, Simon. Zlatan is a mercurial one, isn't he? He'll disappear for a month or two and then produce something like that. Reminds me of that flick for Sweden that beat Italy in Euro 2004.
What about Hull, then, eh? I'm sure that you've posted the Geovanni effort merely to put the knife in Spurs fans, though, right?
Best joke I have heard about Spurs courtesy of James Richardson - "Spurs off to worst start since the Titanic sank and have a similar problem with their Hull".
Delighted about Spurs, makes Arsenal's results all the less painful. Stoke away for Spurs next - with luck they get kicked to death there. THen Bolton the following game with anyone still alive after Stoke, to be kicked to death.
That Zlatan goal was crazy - something special from him every so often!
