For the second year running, we have the dubious honor of opening up this season's FA Cup. Last season we got turfed out in the first round by Exeter. This year we've got Northhampton at Elland Road.

I've stolen away from my conference for a few moments only to find that we're already 1-0 down in the 9th minute. Bugger!
Things have improved for us suddenly. We're still 0-1 down in the 20th minute but Northhampton are down to ten men having had one defender sent off for two bookable offenses. That should shift the tie a bit.
Half an hour in and we still haven't made the breakthrough. The natives at ER aren't getting restless yet but I am. I've only seen Leeds three times in the past year and each match we've lost. Surely something wrong there.

Oh dear, Northhampton were straight through; fortunately Ankergren was quick to clear it away.

Almost a howler there from the keeper who was trying to save a corner but directed his parry into Becchio's path. The Argentinian just couldn't navigate a tight angle to goal.
