The ATHPEASFGHJKL Link is swirling around and not working yet, but I've got a link with no sound going

Fabianski, Sagna, Toure, Gallas Gibbs
Nasri Denilson, Song Vela
Eduardo and Bendtner for us.

Jones, Jones, Jones, Jones, Jones,
Jones, Jones, Griffiths, Jones,
Jones, and Jones, for them.

Arshavin not available today because of Zenit's idiotic delaying behavior in his transfer.

Eduardo makes his first start back from injury in the first team.

RVP on the bench.

I've read today that another 1% of AFC shares has been bought up by Ushmanov. For the life of me, I can't see why we want to be involved with any more Russians. Arshavin possibly excepted, nothing good ever comes of it.

Hey Gooner
I went to the p2p site. I found a Veetle link. I did have to download Veetle again but it is a great link

2:53 PM
Blogger gooner71 said...

Having a spot of bother with links today. Any ideas?

The Arse have started well against the Joneses and Griffith

Blogger gooner71 said...

Smashing link Davey. Cheers.

2:57 PM
Blogger United We Stand said...

Glad to help.
I guess it is just the Prem that has stopped p2p working. I gave it a shot because it was the Cup

2:58 PM
Blogger gooner71 said...

That's a bit daft if you ask me, but I'm happy for the exception today.

So we've looked good while I was away?

Fabregas!

2:59 PM
Blogger United We Stand said...

I know I am being picky but... don't Cardiff wear blue?
Why aren't they wearing blue

United wear red against Everton!
Blue and Red don't clash!!

3:00 PM
Blogger gooner71 said...

Are they all blue? If so, no reason that I can tell. If white shorts, then...

But I bet it's their choice.

Eduardo couldn't do much with that header, but it's great to see him try something cheeky like that go from his end.

3:03 PM
Blogger gooner71 said...

I'm laughing because I heard the guy say that the Cup is our best chance of picking up "celery" this year. It took me a while to figure out he'd said silverware.

Close! Good interplay and deserved a thumping finish from the cut-back.

3:05 PM
Blogger gooner71 said...

Bendtner was closed down quickly I see in the replay.

3:06 PM
Blogger gooner71 said...

Good to see Nick fighting for that even though it was horribly played behind him.

You're right. This is a good start for us.

3:07 PM
Blogger United We Stand said...

I don't get celery

3:07 PM
Blogger United We Stand said...

WHAT A STORY!!!!

GREAT GOAL!!

3:09 PM
Blogger gooner71 said...

Man, I wish that was RVP getting an opportunity like the one Toure just had.

EDUARDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Fantastic!!!!

Great to have him back.

3:09 PM
Blogger gooner71 said...

Get up Billy. You're not hurt.

3:10 PM
Blogger gooner71 said...

That was such an inviting cross from Vela. Eduardo looks completely overcome. No doubt. Really great to see him back.

3:11 PM
Blogger gooner71 said...

Ohhh, and close again. I like Nasri coming in from the right. Didn't know he could do that. Bendtner's cross was hit with venom.

3:14 PM
Blogger United We Stand said...

Smart but can't catch!!

3:15 PM
Blogger gooner71 said...

Book that sarky sod. He's been mouthy about playing the ball out of touch and now clapped the linesman for giving him a corner.

And it was a crap corner.

3:15 PM
Blogger United We Stand said...

Two useless corners but Cardiff

3:16 PM
Blogger United We Stand said...

ooh, almost fumbled into the goal

3:16 PM
Blogger United We Stand said...

That was nasty by Gallas. Lucky not to be in the book

3:17 PM
Blogger gooner71 said...

Nasri let that one fly off his foot. Could have dribbled in off the keeper.

3:17 PM
Blogger gooner71 said...

This really is the best link we've had in weeks. Really enjoyable.

3:21 PM
Blogger United We Stand said...

I just meant it was uncalled for

3:21 PM
Blogger United We Stand said...

So, do you know when your tie against Burnley is?
I guess it would have to be between the CL ties

3:22 PM
Blogger United We Stand said...

2 NIL

Walk in the park!

3:22 PM
Blogger gooner71 said...

I think I like Gibbs better than Clichy this year. It's past time that he gets a chance in the league.

Bentdner with a header. Great stuff!!! 2-0. A mention is due how well Nasri hit that corner.

3:23 PM
Blogger United We Stand said...

The Arse are supposed to be playing West Brom in the League that week.

3:23 PM
Blogger gooner71 said...

I'd say press on for a convincing and morale boosting pasting.

And to get the most out of Bendtner before he runs out of gas at 60-65 mins. They strangely are finding him hard to deal with. You'd have thought that his style they'd be used to. Nippy style merchants like Nasri and Eduardo not so much, but big line-leading hammer/finishers yes.

3:26 PM
Blogger gooner71 said...

So that'll be delayed. If it's a home tie, I might get to go to that.

Magic!

3:27 PM
Blogger gooner71 said...

We're due to punish Burnley. I hope we get the opportunity to tune them up a bit.

3:28 PM
Blogger United We Stand said...

Do you mean the Arsenal Burnley match?
Yes, it is at the Em. I am only guessing that it would then. The WBA game is away and will have to be postponed

3:29 PM
Blogger gooner71 said...

Yeah baby! I bet I can get a ticket for that. The Fulham league game is proving difficult.

3:31 PM
Blogger United We Stand said...

Did you guys meet in the Carling Cup?
Didn't they knock out you and Chelsea?

3:32 PM
Blogger United We Stand said...

What dates will you be in England?

3:33 PM
Blogger gooner71 said...

Vela had the touch of a Henry Moore sculpture there. And he fouled the guy doing it. WTF?

3:33 PM
Blogger United We Stand said...

Oh my GOD!!! How did that not go in?????

3:33 PM
Blogger gooner71 said...

2.27 - 3.8

OMG, what a sequence of bad finishing. Vela brings it down and shoots fluidly and then Nick just can't get it to go in.

3:34 PM
Blogger gooner71 said...

That will do for a first half.

I hope we can keep the tempo up and spank them quickly in the second half.

3:36 PM
Blogger United We Stand said...

You could be there for the other cup game at home.
It is the weekend of March 7 and 8.
So, if they play on the Saturday you're cushty again

3:36 PM
Blogger gooner71 said...

Yeah, just look at the difference in empty seats for the cup games and the league games. On the TV side of the pitch, there are never any spaces in the league until well into the second half. But tonight, lots of them.

3:38 PM
Blogger United We Stand said...

Good luck with that.
Make sure you make a sign for me and Bob

3:39 PM
Blogger gooner71 said...

Looking at the replay of Eduardo's goal, the Cardiff players played on and once he'd scored, there wasn't one of them running back to the scene of Gallas's foul and complaining.

Setanta saw it, but I don't think the Cardiff players apart from Boothroyd was fussed.

3:46 PM
Blogger United We Stand said...

I agree.

3:47 PM
Blogger United We Stand said...

Second half underway

3:55 PM
Blogger United We Stand said...

Gallas booked. The ref is citing the other tackle as well

3:58 PM
Blogger gooner71 said...

Oh, I could see what Vela wanted there and Gibbs just couldn't manage it. That was classy.

Gallas really can't complain. That's two examples of mediocre technique.

3:58 PM
Blogger United We Stand said...

I knew the 1927 Final would get a mention

4:00 PM
Blogger United We Stand said...

Cardiff is in 5th place in the Championship

I can't see them going up though, you?

4:01 PM
Blogger gooner71 said...

Lived the dream with Leeds?

I'm quite glad that the Gator didn't have to hear that comment. Or see Ridsdale's poxy face.

4:02 PM
Blogger United We Stand said...

Great Run by Vela

4:02 PM
Blogger United We Stand said...

IS THAT BOB IN THE STANDS!!

4:02 PM
Blogger gooner71 said...

There must be better outfits around than these guys.

Watch the game or get a room those two!

4:03 PM
Blogger United We Stand said...

We never saw his face, had Bob's hair!

4:04 PM
Blogger gooner71 said...

If the Gator was there, it wouldn't be that girl he was sneaking up behind. It would be Ridsdale, and I wouldn't fancy Poxy Pete's chances of survival.

4:04 PM
Blogger United We Stand said...

Good point(very funny BTW)

4:04 PM
Blogger United We Stand said...

The Arse needs to get their fingers out!
If a goal goes in...

4:05 PM
Blogger United We Stand said...

Neil Kinnock in the stands.
He is a Lord?

4:05 PM
Blogger United We Stand said...

Game over?
Penalty!
Eduardo to take it

4:07 PM
Blogger United We Stand said...

Three nil

Fingers have been pulled out

4:08 PM
Blogger United We Stand said...

Come on Eduardo, get a hat-trick

4:09 PM
Blogger United We Stand said...

RVP coming on.
Why?
Let him have a chance for a HT Arsene

4:11 PM
Blogger United We Stand said...

If he comes off there will be a standing ovation!

4:11 PM
Blogger United We Stand said...

Well done Ref, move the ball back to where it belongs

Jones(or was it Griffiths) hits the wall and it goes out for or a corner.

4:13 PM
Blogger United We Stand said...

ooh, Eduardo had his chance!!!

4:14 PM
Blogger United We Stand said...

Here comes RVP for Eduardo

Not as a big as I thought

Blogger United We Stand said...

Now a shoe has been thrown.
Grab the guy who is where one shoe!!
Not a smart group from Wales

4:25 PM
Blogger United We Stand said...

Why didn't Denilson shoot?

4:26 PM
Blogger United We Stand said...

Just wide by one of the Arse subs

4:28 PM
Blogger United We Stand said...

Shots on target

13- 1

4:29 PM
Blogger United We Stand said...

Into the last ten minutes

4:29 PM
Blogger United We Stand said...

Great pass by RVP
The keeper and Bendtner collide
I think they will be okay

4:33 PM
Blogger United We Stand said...

RVP makes it FOUR!

4:36 PM
Blogger United We Stand said...

Right through the keepers legs

4:37 PM
Blogger United We Stand said...

RVP 14th goal of the season

His highest total.
That is surprising.
Of course, he hasn't been fit all the time

4:38 PM
Blogger United We Stand said...

Hold your scarf up the right way you wally

4:39 PM
Blogger United We Stand said...

RVP should have put a header away but that is it!

Four nil to the Arse

COULD HAVE BEEN TEN

CONGRATS STEVE... where ever you are

Sorry I missed you lads this afternoon, especially as I missed Ridsdale's lot getting a right stuffing. I was stuck in an interminable meeting alas.

I'm really happy for Eduardo, that's real Roy of the Rovers stuff. Great to see him back. I'll look forward to seeing the goals on the Sky News tonight in between the motocross and athletics highlights.

5:29 PM
Blogger United We Stand said...

I am glad you didn't see the goals on Sky because they don't have the rights to them!
SO, STICK THAT UP YOUR LEFT NOSTRIL

Are you sure you weren't at the Em tonight?
