Midweek FA Cup Footie
The nice thing about all of those draws in the FA Cup 4th Round a week or so ago is that we've got some more footer to watch this afternoon. The UK seems to have recovered from their hilarious "snow day" yesterday (six inches!) and all matches are back on.
The big one is the Merseyside derby from Goodison. Join me in a few minutes...

The action is under way at the City Ground and Villa Park as tonight's FA Cup action begins.
Blimey, that was quick! Chris Cohen give Forest a 1-0 lead in the fifth minute. The winner of that tie of course will face United in the fifth round.
Ashley Young is back for Villa and he's nearly fired them into the lead against Doncaster.
David Beckham makes a return to British football tonight when he starts for AC Milan in their friendly against Rangers at Ibrox.
David Healy has given Sunderland a 1-0 lead against Blackburn with a neat finish.
Nathan Tyson doubles Nottingham Forest's lead against Derby from the penalty spot. The striker won the spot kick himself as he was fouled by Stephen Bywater.
Wow, the Adthe link is coming through bright and clear with ITV1 coverage.
They've just mentioned that many of the Liverpool greats over the years, including Steve McManaman, Ian Rush, Michael Owen and Jamie Carragher who plays today, grew up as Everton fans.
Fernando Torres is moving gingerly after pickng up a slight knock there.
ohn Carew's effort from the edge of the Doncaster box is deflected over the head of Neil Sullivan by Matt Mills. Villa now lead 2-0.
Gary Teale's cross from the right is headed home by Rob Hulse to pull Derby to within a goal of Nottingham Forest. 2-1 there.
A big blow for Liverpool. Steven Gerrard is coming off injured to be replaced by Yossi Benayoun. Carra has assumed the captaincy on the pitch.
The Toffees are bombing on now with the crowd baying them on.
Tim Cahill picks up a yellow for leading with his elbow against Carragher.
Sunderland still lead 0-1 against Blackburn at Ewood Park.
Twenty minutes in and this reminds me of the Liverpool-Chelsea match on Sunday. It's very niggly with few moments of good, flowing football.
Yet another free kick for a foul on Torres. Jolean Lescott is certainly riding his luck.
Dangerous free kick for Liverpool here. But it's placed far too long. What a waste.
Coming up on the half hour and still no breakthrough here at Goodison. No one really looks likely to score either.
Half-time at Villa Park. Aston Villa lead Doncaster 2-1.
Aaron Mokoena sends a rasping effort from 25 yards past Craig Gordon to pull Blackburn level with Sunderland in their FA Cup fifth round replay.
Apparently Stevie G. has done his hammy. Not good news for the Reds.
Hey, Gator B, How are you? I'm at work, pulled in a million directions. West Ham looking good for a shot at the final four. Why in the world would AC Milan travel to Glasgow in February??? Don't they play enough already?
Still no real chances in Everton's clash with Liverpool. I wouldn't be surprised of there was extra-time at Goodison Park.
Hey Bob
I am here.
I have the ITV coverage on as well. This is brill!
So, Gerrard is off with a hammy?
Villa are two one up
Blackburn tied with Sunderland
Hey West Ham, good to hear from you. I have no idea why anything happens in footie any more. Money has turned the world upside down. Used to be that the FA Cup Final was the big day on the calendar. Now I'm told that it ranks somewhere between the UEFA Cup and getting promoted to the Premiership. Honestly!
Milan must be getting a big payday by going to Glasgee.
Hey, Dave! Yeah, Stevie limped off in the fifteenth minute. Torres has also picked up a knock and may not make the full match. It's been brutal out there.
Absolutely true
I see that the Champions League is going to be on Saturdays starting next season.
I'm loving the Blues fans with the Fellaini wigs on in the stands. Brilliant!
No! Perish the thought! I guess I'm from the old school. I want most of the league fixtures at 3 p.m. Saturday with the occasional big match on a Sunday. The CL can get stuffed!
I am surprised that FSC don't have the Villa match on
Apparently Scudamore is reviewing the American bids for the Premiership for next season. ESPN made a big bid this year but it looks likely, according to WSD, that Sky and Setanta will have the rights. Regardless, I'll be watching on line, right?
Yes, stuff the CL!
Does that mean FSC will have it?
I don't want ESPN to do it. They won't do it justice. They will get their own commentators. They will pre-empt it with bowling. They will talk about it with tongue in cheek!
PLEASE NO!!!
Stuff the CL (unless we win it again)
Great reaction from the crowd when Gerrard went off!
Derby tie it up at Forest
From UEFA.com
• The final is to be played on a Saturday, with kick-off time at 20.45 CET.
Villa three one up
England 202 for 5 in the First Test against the Windies
I am going to check on p2p to see if there is a link
p2p is not very useful lately.
I wonder if internationals will be shown?
I'm off to my class, mate. Catch you this weekend.
Take care

THe sound is great
The tannoy tells the Costa fans to sit down.

That is it. 30 more minutes and maybe penalties
Extra time is underway.
I am off for a few minutes. I will be back
Come on you blues
Everton go close three times
I had to leave again and i miss the Everton goal
Benni McCarthy scores a late goal for Blackburn and they win
Everton are into added time of extra time
Gossling scored for Everton
Blimey, I've gone off to class and come back in the break and they're still playing!
The Toffees have just taken the lead through some geezer named Dan Gosling. What a turnup!
Both McCarthy and Gosling's goals were scored in the 118th minute
It's over!!
Everton have knocked out Arsenal.
Villa up next for the Toffees
Talk to you on the weekend.
Dave
You've just given the Gooner a heart-attack. Of course you meant to say that Pool have been knocked out, not the Arse. They've still got the little matter of a return fixture with Cardiff City.
