USA vs Sweden
This is on FSC at 8:00pm Eastern tonight, so I'll be upstairs with the telly, and dashing up and down for goals and what-not.
Why are we playing them exactly? Is this Freddie Ljungberg's unveiling as the face of the new Seattle MLS team? Just as long as that's it. He's got previous and we don't want to see any more of that kind of thing.

Thanks for the post, Gooner. I'm here looking forward to tonight's match. It's been billed as a tune-up for the next round of qualifiers, but the line-up begs to differ - Charlie Davies? Jonathan Thorrington? Huh?
And unfortunately my beach friend Freddie is not on offer tonight, but we will have a Dahl and a Dahlberg, so plenty of homies on offer. Bring it on!
Here we go with the first half then...
A poor first touch there for front-runner Charlie Davies playing alongside Brian Ching tonight.
This definitely has the feel of a B-international. I've never heard of a single one of these Swedes. That makes sense as there can't be many European club managers who would willingly give up the services of their players in the midst of a busy period.
Nice width being provided by the fullbacks Wynne and Bornstein. That's a good sign.
This Michael Dahlberg bloke who's playing up front for Sweden has the loping gait of Inter superstar Zlatan...without the skill though.
GOAL! Super strike from Sasha there at the free kick. He's definitely the choice at set pieces if Landon's not about.
The game has really settled, with Sweden offering very little up front.
Penalty! A quick break down the right and Wynne is chopped. The ref points at the spot.
Sasha to take...and he bags his second of the night.
2-0 US!
Sweden were celebrating for about a minute after scoring there before Sasha notched his hat-trick. Great night for him.
3-1 US!
The defensive work has gone to shite here with the donkey Dahlberg sneaking in at the back post to head past a feeble Troy Perkins. Wynne completely lost his man there.
3-2.
Cooper should have notched the fourth there in extra time.
Full-time: US 3 Sweden 2
I'm not sure how much Bob Bradley would have learned from that outing. I can only imagine Ching, Klejstan and maybe Parkhurst getting a game against Mexico next month. The others merely got more seasoning.
