Lakenheath Old Boys
We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

My predictions for this morning:
Wolves 0 Villa 1
Brum 1 Sunderland 1
Burnley 1 Wigan 1
Hull 0 Pompey 0
Spurs 2 Stoke 1
Chelski 3 Blackburn 0
Wolves and Villa are coming up on half-time at 0-0. Boring first half really.
Into the second half - still goalless. I'm still thinking that my 0-1 prediction is a good bet here.
Half an hour left at Molyneux - still goalless. Andy Gray's wondering when the changes will be made. I'm wondering why I woke up early for this tosh.
Finally a goal at Molineux and it's Gabriel Agbonlahor on target to give Aston Villa the lead. My prediction's on here.
Bugger! Villa's lead didn't last long - Sylvan Ebanks-Blake has levelled for Wolves from the penalty spot after a rash challenge from Steve Sidwell.
1-1!
Full-time: I've dropped my first ten points of the day, sadly.
1-1 and not great news for either side. Villa are stuck in sixth with several sides that could jump over them this weekend. Wolves are still in real relegation danger only two points off the drop zone.
Now it's time to concentrate on the 10 am kick-offs including the L1 fixtures. Leeds have Millwall away today. We're two points up on Charlton with a game away to Bristol Rovers to play at a later date.
I've got a Sky link up through VSS that I'm hoping will go straight into SS in a moment.
Charlton meanwhile have Gillingham and third placed MK Dons have in form Southhampton away. I'm hoping its a good day for us to pick up some points on our rivals.
10 am has arrived and here comes Soccer Saturday. Lovely jubbly!
Still no Luciano Becchio due to injury, so Sam Vokes deputizes alongside lead scorer Jermaine Beckford. Bradley Johnson, who's on six goals for the season, will be bombing along as a third forward.
Nearly an early goal for Pompey away to Hull. Play up, Pompey!
Spurs are bailed out by Jon Woodgate heading off the line from Matthew Etherington.
Bugger! We're 1-0 down to Millwall inside the first five minutes! Argh!
The Merse is screaming and it's 1-0 Burnley continuing their terrific form at Turf Moor.
We've come straight back out at them and Beckford's had one saved. Come on, you Whites!
Entertaining start to the game at Birmingham as Sunderland looks to pose some questions for Joe Hart.
Merse is agitated again and it's because Wigan have equalized. 1-1!
YESSSS!!!! Patrick Kisnorbo, our big center back, has equalized from a corner.
1-1!
That Wigan equalizer sounds like one to look for during the replay shows. Burnley keeper Jensen fell over in the box allowing Rodallega to tap in easily. It would be comical if Jensen hadn't sustained a bad injury. He's gone straight off.
Tottenham are forced to make an early change against Stoke with Michael Dawson taking the place of Jonathan Woodgate. Woody was injured when he headed the ball off the line earlier and struck his head.
We're all over them now. Come on, you Whites! Let's get another.
Rangers have recovered from their midweek CL embarrassment and are 1-0 up against Hibs.
Oh dear. The Tractor Boys are 1-0 down....again! Plymouth adding to Roy Keane's misery there.
Middlesbrough have made a bright start to their clash at Preston as Gary O'Neil forces Andy Lonergan to make a save.
Colchester and Walsall have traded goals in two minutes. 1-1 there.
Crouchie has nearly scored but it's been saved off the line by James Beattie of all things. And now Kranjcar has hit the post. Spurs going close.
Half an hour gone and it's still 1-1 at the Den.
Newcastle have hit a patch of bad form and Doncaster have taken the lead at St. James's Park.
Millwall with a lot of possession in the last five minutes. I'm not happy. Come on!
Norwich, who we pipped in mid-week, have taken the lead against Swindon.
Good save by the Millwall keeper from Sam Vokes. I'd love to see the kid get on the scoresheet today.
A couple of shots in quick succession by Brad Johnson. Not a lot from JB yet though.
Birmingham have gone 1-0 up through Ridgewell.
The awful game continues at the KC Stadium as both Hull and Portsmouth produce some awful football.
Five minutes until half time now. A great to score, eh? Come on!
Strangely, Norwich's goalscorer today is Chris Martin. Clearly it's all yellow for him, eh?
Ipswich are pushing for an equalizer at Plymouth in the big match of the day at the bottom of the table in the Championship but the score remains 1-0 to the hosts.
Darren Ambrose strikes to give Crystal Palace the lead in the Championship against Nottingham Forest.
Go on, Snoddy!
I'm off to clear out my room as half-time approaches. Back in a tick for the second half.
Back for the second half now hoping for plenty of goals for the Leeds boys.
MK Dons took the lead against Soton at the end of the half. That plants Soton at the bottom of the division again and vaults MK back up into third level with Charlton who are still at 0-0 with the Gills.
Birmingham have scored a second goal for the first time this season. McFadden with the goal and Sunderland are in a world of hurt.
Eight shots to six for us at the Den. Tight but I'm hoping we can pip them again at the death.
Steve Simonsen continues to have plenty to do at White Hart Lane as he saves a driven effort from Robbie Keane. It is 0-0 between Tottenham and Stoke.
1-2 Wigan now. Burnley may be heading for their first loss at home. Rodallega again with the strike for the away team.
It is still an awful game at the KC Stadium as Hull's clash against Portsmouth remains goalless.
Lots of chances for both sides at the Den now. I'm nervous.
Half an hour left in the 10 am kick-offs now.
365 reports: "Lots of action at the New Den but the score remains 1-1 between Millwall and Leeds in the day's big match in League One."
Colchester have scored a second goal. It's 2-1 there. They're up into fourth three points behind us now. It's a bit too packed at the top now. I'd like to see some distance between the top two and the rest of the pack.
It's about time for some changes from Simon Grayson. I'd have Tresor Kandol on for Sam Vokes.
Lovely - the Saints have equalized against the Dons. 1-1 now. Dons down to fourth on 27 again.
Former NE Revs star Andy Dorman continues to impress for St Mirren in the SPL as he gives them a 2-1 advantage over Motherwell.
Inside the last twenty five minutes now. Still 1-1 at the Den.
More good news - Bristol Rovers have been pegged back by Yeovil.
Newcastle have equalized much to the relief of the St. James's Park faithful. 1-1 there.
A lot of our rivals dropping points now. A JB goal would put us in a tremendous situation at the top of the league.
Keano may not be smiling on the touchline but the Tractor Boys are back in it. 1-1.
Twenty minutes left now. Come on, you Whites!
And now Yeovil have taken the lead. Great news!
The Canaries are now up into fifth on 22 points.
Interesting changes at Tottenham as Roman Pavlyuchenko replaces Robbie Keane for the hosts and Tuncay take the place of James Beattie for Stoke.
The SS reporter thinks that Millwall look the more likely. I hope not!
I hate to abandon the lads at the key moment here, but I've got to hoof it up to the conference for my talk this afternoon. Dave's not here to say it so I will -
IT'S LEEDS TIME!!
Sorry I haven't been around. I have been standing in the pouring rain for the entire morning.
Sorry to hear about Leeds. First loss of the season! What a bummer!
Not good see Chelsea spanking Rovers.
Spurs lose to Stoke!
I won't be around for tomorrow either. I won't be able to watch United take all their beach balls to Anfield tomorrow. I will be playing in the rain!
