Lakenheath Old Boys
We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

In the earlier kick-off, Villa have drawn 1-1 away to Rapid Vienna. Mark Albrighton impressed again laying on the Villa goal.
Roy Hodgson has made his intentions clear about the Europa League, making seven changes from the weekend's clash with Arsenal. Steven Gerrard, Dirk Kuyt and Fernando Torres all watching from the stands tonight.
Not surprisingly, Trabszonpor have made all the early running. They've got two up front away at Anfield. Refreshingly attacking approach there.
Joe Cole is trying to recover from that red card debut on Sunday but he hasn't really got into the game quite yet.
In other early kick-offs, BATE have put Maritimo to the sword 3-0.
Leverkusen havae done likewise with Symferopol, whoever the hell they are.
CSKA Moscow have knocked Famagusta for four.
Celtic have taken the lead through Juarez in the 19th minute against Utrecht.
I like this - some outfit named Karpaty Lviv are leading Gala 0-2 away in the second half. I'd love to see Gala having a season in the wilderness.

Good Turkish support in Anfield tonight.
Ryan Babbel is getting a chance to play in his favored position through the middle but he's yet to make much of an impression. 0-0 after half an hour here.
Citeh are also 0-0 with Timosoar away from home.
Juve have gone 0-1 up away to Sturm Graz.
Good free kick opportunity now for Trabs after Carragher went in clumsily.
GOAL! Liverpool in front and a great time to score in stoppage time. Joe Cole made it and Babbel finished it with coolness.
1-0 Pool!
Citeh got into half time at 0-0.
The teams are back out at Anfield and Fernando Torres has replaced the goalscorer Ryan Babbel at the start of the half.
And Torres is straight into the action with a sharp shot that the Turkish keeper could only tip away.
And from the resulting keeper, Lucas should have scored from a header. Roy Hodgson with his head in his hands.
Bright start to the half then for Pool. Roy obviously spiked their half-time cuppa.
Trabs look like Villa away - from a distance you'd think that this was a Premiership match.
Lucas goes down and Liverpool have themselves a penalty!
New boy Joe Cole steps up for it....
And he puts it straight at the keeper! Terrible start for Joe Cole in red.
Pool fans will wonder why El Nino didn't take that one. It was a poor penalty and Pool may well need that goal in Turkey in a week's time.
That penalty save seems to have sparked Trabs to life.
Gala have evened things up through two late Milan Baros goals. It's 2-2 there in Turkey but Karpaty still have two priceless away goals.
Dortmund are 4-0 up over FK Qarabag, whoever they are.
Georgy Samaras has added a second goal for the Hoops against Utrecht.
Great save there from the Trabs keeper from Torres. He's keeping them in this one.
Trabs broke the offside trap there and Reina saved their bacon. First real chance for the Turks.
The Pool defense all over the place there and it could so easily been 1-1.
70 minutes gone and still 1-0 Pool and 0-0 Citeh.
Hodgson has thrown David Ngog on to search for a second goal to take to Turkey next week and almost immediately, Trabs have brought on some fresh cover. They seem happy with things at 1-0.
Inside the last ten minutes then....
The commentators have mentioned that Alberto Aquilani isn't even included on the list of subs tonight. He's the forgotten man at Anfield these days.
Disappointed that the FC Quarabag badge isn't more fun. The Azerbaijani Premier league champions.

Could they not have been as amusing as FC Sherriff Tiraspol's effort?

So the Reds end at 1-0. Of the three English sides in the Europa League this season, I'd say that they're in the most jeopardy. Trabszonspor looked lively at times without stretching themselves too thin. They'll definitely give Pool a game in Turkey.
Citeh are in even better shape after their new mercurial Italian Mario Balotelli notched a late goal at Timosoar to give them a 0-1 advantage in the second leg.
And Villa's earlier 1-1 draw leaves them in good shape for the Villa Park leg.
Hiya, Gooner! I'm off for a swim and a work social gathering. I'll check out those clips later.
Cheerio!
