Martin Kelly continues to start at right back for Liverpool,so Glen Johnson moves to left back. Stevie G is suspended for three games and is replaced by Spearing, who almost gifted the Toffees an early goal. Beckford tried a chip from long range.

As a result, I don't think Konchesky will start any more games for Liverpool.

Nearly 1-0 to Liversox as Torres turns past Distin and sees his shot come off the post. Kuyyt shoots the rebound well over.

GOAL 1-0 LIVERSOX!!

Timmy made a fantastic double save from Kuyyt and Mireles shot home the rebound from just outside the box.

Timmy makes a great save from Maxi off of a short corner and is furious with his defense.

Timmy makes a great save from Mireles, but it was going to be difficult to score from that angle.

The Merseyside Derby finishes with a 2-2 result from Anfield as Kuyyt tied it up[ with a penalty after Maxi was fouled in the box. The teams drew 4-4 in Kenny's last match in charge twenty years ago.

Next, Spurs host United from the Lane in a must win match for both teams. A United victory moves them back to fist place ahead of Citeh while a Spurs victory moves them into fourth place and that final CL spot ahead of Chelski.

All three EPL matches have resulted in draws today. I am hoping that United will be victorious instead of another away draw.

I have not been happy with United's start as they have been shaky in defense and have let Spurs do too much attacking. Spurs have 62% of the possession. COME ON UNITED!

United and Spurs are the two teams that Gunners fans love to hate.

spuds in the ascendancy and no-one wants to see that. I think United have not played well enough to justify the scoreline. Very lucky that VDV hasn't punished you twice.

I would be very surprised if VDV is given as much space in the remainder of the game as he was in the first half. Wouldn't mind it at all if he started to feel that hammy that he's got taped. Danger is if he draws too much attention, Modric is capable of being the late run attacking player. Problems for SAF to sort out in the 2nd for sure.

Involving Drac will be important. Rooney is working hard but not in dangerous parts of the field. Giggs, not the force he was, but capable of something brilliant still.

Still time for 0-0, 22 man brawl, suspensions and 9 point deductions. And when I posted that, I hadn't even seen that the insanely erratic Mike Reid was the B-I-T-B.

I agree. We really have not played well and SAF will have plenty to say at halftime. We might bring on Chicharito. You are correct. VDV has come close on two occasions. I have not been happy with The first half performance. This is a match between the two teams you love to hate. A nine point deduction is the Gunners best chance of winning the EPL. LOL.

Better from United as Roon forces Gomes to tip a shot around the post with a shot from long range. Gomes easily catches the corner.

The final score from The Lane is 0-0 as ALL FOUR EPL matches played today result in a draw. United draw their eighth away match of the season(tops in the EPL). Yes, another away draw. United move into first place, ahead of Citeh on goal difference. Spurs remain in fifth place.

Cheers everyone.

The benighted half of North London can naff off to Stratford and get stuffed. The exalted side of North London quite satisfied with that 0-0. One team in N. London!

Thanks for the coverage of the matches today, lads. I'm just back from an overnight trip into the tropical rainforest down here. It was an incredible trek but at this point I'm rather looking forward to getting back to Blue Devil HQ next weekend.
