It's down to biz in the Champions League again today with the first two quarter-final fixtures, including Spurs at the Bernabeu. I'm getting here late today and will likely have to drop in and out because of the craziness of the day. If you're around, chip in won't you?

Oh dear - I've just gotten here and Spurs are already 1-0 down to a goal from Emmanuel Adebayor. Not an auspicious start.
The line-ups for today:
Spurs - Gomes, Corluka, Gallas, Dawson, Assou-Ekotto, Lennon, Sandro, Modric, Bale, VDV, Crouch.

Subs - Adan, Kaka, Diarra, Granero, Arbeloa, Garay, Higuain.
Wholy Moley! Real have the likes of Kaka and Higuain languishing on the bench!
Inter Milan and Schalke are at 1-1 in the other tie tonight. Goals from Stankovic for Inter and Matip for Schalke.
In the Championship, Reading are playing their make-up match against lowly Preston North End. This is a crucial match for Leeds as Reading start the day four points shy of us in 6th. A win would take them within a point of us and three points clear of Forest in 7th. Hence, I'd love a unlikely PNE win today.
Diego Milito has added a second goal for Inter at the San Siro.
Bugger! Reading have taken the lead. They're now on 63 points from 39 matches. And they've got nine goals on us in terms of GD.
A real ding-dong going on at the San Siro. Schalke have equalized again, this time through Edu.

Afternoon, Dave! I'm about to have to pop down for my class. Spurs look up against it for sure. I'm sure that Jose is happy not to be running Inter right about now. So, it looks like Real v. Barca in the semis. And maybe United v. Schalke? What do you make of that?

We've got seven matches left. I reckon we're just about good for the top six finish I've been hoping for. The only difficult match left is QPR on the last day of the season. That win against Forest was huge. Forest fans are still whinging about Mark Halsey.
Any thoughts about the Rooney ban that will keep him out of the derby?
QPR will have everything sewn up by then... of course, they wouldn't want to lose at home on the last day
