Lakenheath Old Boys

We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

One of the Premier League's greats, for sure. He'll be missed. Here's one of my favorites - we could have used one of these on Saturday:

And here's the other side of the Ginger Assassin's game that should be remembered:

I think we need to concentrate on Paul Scholes the goal scorer and passer.
Nickname is Sat Nav!!!

I heard Mark Lawrensen talk about so many players leaving Old Trafford and all saying that the best player they played with was him

I prefer The Ginga Ninja. Has a certain ring to it.

Scholes will definitely be missed. He rarely misplaced a pass and had a rocket of a shot. Some of his goals were really spectacular.Since Scholes retired from international football, England have never been the same side. He has never truly been replaced. I hope United replace him because any team that has aspirations of winning championships and being dominant needs a player like Paul Scholes in their side. I agree that he will be truly missed. Thank you for the memories.

Actually, my favorite memory of Scholes was catching some public TV coverage of the academy and schoolboy's competition, the Dallas Cup in the early 90's. The game they were covering was probably the final but it was definitely the United academy versus that Bolivian academy Tahuichi. That day, there was a skinny ginger kid that ran the game. That was him.
