Mind the Gap!

"We ask for the co-operation of all fans to positively represent their football clubs and ensure it is an enjoyable day for all."
West Ham's safety team have also asked us to inform our travelling fans that there will be no alcohol on sale in the away section at Upton Park.

Too right - can't trust those West Ham Firm hooligans.
Looking forward to a chat in the morning, mate!
This link says it will be the big one today
http://softsportstv1.blogspot.com/
I'm awake, at work and will trying to follow along.
Morning, chaps. Still looking for a link to the big one. I'll give yours a shot, UWS.
Beautiful... the link has gone to the match
Didn't trust me?
India are 218 for 6... a bit of a fight back from the Indians. They were 103 for 5!
England need them all out for less than 319 to enforce the follow-on
Does the match start at 8:45... players out warming up and the stands are empty
Could there be some verbal fisticuffs between our resident fans of these two?
Brilliant link, mate. Thanks. I always trust you.
That video must have been on tape
Upton Park is full and we're ready to go
It is a fine link. Thanks!
Good news for Leeds... Carlton Cole starting up front for West Ham
Bit of the MOT going in the flat now. Did I mention that I live alone.
;-}
Do you like Leeds shirts?
Does White clash with Claret and Blue???
That is good news - cheers, mate.
I'm afraid you neighbors are going to start thinking things!
The team news for today:
Bad guys: Green, O'Brien, Tomkins, Reid, Ilunga, Collison, Parker, Noble, Nolan, Taylor, Cole.
Good guys: Lonergan, Lees, Kisnorbo, O'Dea, White, Gradel, Howson, Clayton, Snoddy, Keogh, McCormack.
Still no room for our leading goalscorer Ramon Nunez in the first team. He's on the bench.
Oh - they already know that I'm nuts. Fortunately, they're fairly transient.
Simon and Sam sharing a few cooking tips before the match. And we're set to go now. West Ham to get us underway.
"Marching on Together!"
Huge roar from the away supporters who apparently haven't been put off by the Metropolitan Police.
Sir Trevor and Cap sitting next to each other and not singing along with Blowing Bubbles
We're off
Are you sleeping, are you sleeping, ARE YOU SLEEPING, WHR!
ARE YOU SLEEPING, WHR!!!!!
No place for Nani of the North?
I'm not so keen on the black kit, to be fair. I like variations of the normal club colors.
I'm forever blowing bubbles, pretty bubbles in the air!
Simon must like him as the supersub. The two suspended players Gradel and Howson are back in the side after missing the Hull clash.
There you are, sleeping beauty. I was just starting to worry about you. Welcome!
You hear that singing, WHR? That's what a proper group of supporters sounds like.
Welcome WHR... have you got the link going
Now that WHR is here, I'll say from the outset that I'll take a point from today. 1-1 would be lovely.
Blimey - Andy Lonergan is busy from the outset with two tip overs.
Again.. why do they need change of shirt for this match
Flick header tipped over the bar... and again from the corner
BUGGGGGGGERRRRRRR!
Carlton Cole!
whoops, that was too easy.
Oh dear.. Carlton Cole scores an early one... where were the defenders! Three headers won on the trot
Shocking defending there from the corner. Cole was left to volley home from six yards!
YES!!!!!!!!!
As I was saying, I'll gladly take a draw today, lads.
I picked these two to go up... maybe one of them will!
The link is up and running . . . . as our West Ham.
oh dear.. the link disappeared
Just pressed the arrow and it started again
Useless free kick for Leeds
Tom Lees at fault for that goal. He's a make-shift center back today. I'd prefer Stevie Bruce's boy Alex.
That's better - Gradel wins a corner off Green.
ooh, Leeds get their chance... Gradel with a nice effort
Can they score from a corner... no!
Another corner won by Andy Keogh.
Lost the link, but will try again.
Better from Leeds
Oh - that could have gone anywhere. Good stuff. Just wide by Keogh.
Oh - off the wordwork from Snoddy!
Stay onside!!!
My link froze for the woodwork but the sound was there.... back to pictures
Tried and true Allardyce long ball stuff from West Ham so far.
Good morning lads. I tried the link and it does not work. Did anyone find another link?
Bloody hell - O'Dea gives away a corner cheaply there.
Mine is working fine
Morning, MUR! I'll have a look for you.
I enjoyed reading the banter between BD and WHR. Advantage WHR.
Than You BD.
Norwich vs Stoke has just kicked off from Carrow Road.
News out of Libya today is that West Ham supporter Muammar Gaddafi is likely to flee the country today.
Morning MUR... five on the blog this early in the morning!!!
On the ball City.. never mind the danger
He should have left yesterday so he could have gone to the match!!
I'm not finding anything else, MUR. Give UWS' link another try. It is working lovely for me.
Nice passing by the Hammers but Noble's shot is easily saved
Too right - Muammar is always welcome in the Director's Box at Upton Park.
http://softsportstv1.blogspot.com/
Uh oh - the commentator just mentioned The Manager Who's Name Must Not Be Spoken.
That is the link I tried. It was the softsports link. It said there was a copyright infringement.
Gaddafi is NOT a Hammer's supporter!
Leeds with long ball tactics... I don't see anything wrong with it by the way
We're playing decent stuff here. If not for that early goal, I'd be fairly happy.
Just keep trying it
Stupid shot by Taylor... he was miles out!
Again, the link goes black
Uh oh - the link is down for "copywright infringement." Curses!
Speaking of the Hammers, Paolo Di Canios's Swindon is drawing 1-1 with Oxford United.
That's what I've been getting . . . what does "copyright" mean?
That has been my problem.
Here's one that seems to be working:
http://www.soccertvlive.net/watch/79714/1/watch-west-ham-united-vs-leeds-united.html
Oxford United now lead 1-2 at Swindon. Paolo will not be pleased.
Bloody hell - as I come back to it, it appears that we've won a penalty and Gradel has missed it!!!
My screen is black also. Now I'm listening on talksport 1089 on my tuneinradio app.
Was there a missed penalty while we were down?
That would have been my dream 1-1 scoreline I wanted before the match.
Come on, you Whites!
Yeah - apparently so. Try this link, lads:
http://www.soccertvlive.net/watch/79714/1/watch-west-ham-united-vs-leeds-united.html
Mine's working a treat.
"Copyright infringement" means that we're not paying Sky to watch this match, mate. I think of it as my personal two fingers up to Rupert Murdoch.
Here's one
http://softsportstv1.blogspot.com/
Oh - Aidan White appeared to barge Cole over in the box but the ref thankfully waves it off.
Oh - now it's Gradel with a rocket tipped around by Rob Green.
Got it. Thanks BD.
I would have been on earlier, but for some extra kip.
Certainly deserved, MUR.
Shut it Carlton. It was great defending.
Thanks, BD. Is Carlton Cole trying to do a Frimpong.
We are back up and running. Joined in the 30th minute. Cole taken down from behind in the box. Clear penalty. Not given.
Dahlgren-like
No score between Norwich and Stoke.
Bobby Zamora is a late scratch for Fulham.
Are you lot around for another look at Kun Aguero later this morning?
The commentator said about Gradel's poor penalty... not good Maxi.... nice cross from him though
I'd have to agree with you, WHR. We dodged a bullet on that one.
Rob Green tips away the Gradel cross for a corner.
I'll be around for most of it
Tom has a scrimmage later in the day
Now there's a clash of heads between Cole and O'Dea. Physio is on for treatment. Doesn't look good.
I am not used ro seeing Leeds in Black with yellow trim, or is that navy blue?
India lose their 7th wicket
224 for 7
MUR - - If you are going to side with the Whites, I'm going to side with Citeh . . . clearly Cole was clipped on the heel . . . not close to the ball.
I think O'Dea will be okay, but it was a nasty one.
It's black with florescent green trim. Not liking it. I like their blue with yellow trim away kit.
I was watching some footer from the '72 season and Peter Lorimer scored a scorcher wearing all red!
They were Liverpool in disguise!
Gradel is sort of Menditto-esque in this play. I live him!
And I'm changing my middle name to Snodgrass.
I like United's new away shirt... it is completely opposite than red... we don't need a third!
That one never gets called. Carlton made a big thing out of nothing. I am neutral. I will give Leeds the same treatment. My goal is to be an equal opportunity offender this morning.
Do you mean Menditto-like penalty misses!!
Snodgrass - a quality name for a quality player.
I agree,BD. I prefer the blue. when I was in high school their away kit was all yellow.
WHR... you are already in the Citeh camp...you picked them to win the league!!!
That was an ambitious long range effort from Winston Reid.
Fat Sam looking ready for his half-time sub sandwich.
Hello Everyone .
How is the USA today ?
David John , Nice reply to my long
email this morning !
The first half is winding down here. And as I type that, my link pops off. Not a lot of luck this morning.
I think he is picking them to win the league, but was still cheering for United until that tiff from Carlton Cole.
Morning, Chelskilad! It's great to have you on board.
Hey Tony,
I know, my bad!!
I had to go on an errand after the email was read and then I came right to here
I will reply
Picking Citeh to win the Premiership was a pick with my head, David, not my heart.
Good morning Chelskilad. It is nice and hot in Texas.I bet you are pleased with Chelsea's comeback yesterday.
I missed the penalty miss, looking for the link.
http://softsportstv1.blogspot.com/
Working strong
I'd always fancied Sam as a Pukka Pie man. I'd imagine that he'd be able to choke down three or four of those beauties during the interval with a half of shandy to wash it down.
Andy O'Brien heads out for a Leeds corner.
Me too but it must have been Menditto-like... of course... I always score my pens!!
2 added minutes
Feel free to email me, Chelskilad. I always respond to my messages, no probs, mate.
Gradel crosses straight to Rob Green.
I second that Chelskilad.
Better late than never . I was a bit concerned about them .
The Hammers lead 1-0 at halftime.
Head and heart.... let's look at United in the league since 92

Enough said
Half time
Peep peep. There's the half-time whistle. We've played reasonably well after that early set-back. Still, West Ham lead 1-0.
Wolves vs Fulham is about to kick off. The match is on FSC.
All my siblings ignore me . I guess
I'm past my sell by date .
I'll be back... I am going to email my oldest bruv!!
Of course, I sent him about 10 emails in the last week... he replied this morning!!!
Half-time . . .
Good guys: 1
Bad guys: 0
Time for more coffee.
There is a minute's applause from Molineaux, but for whom?
I second that WHR, but not in a sky blue mug. The match kicks off from Molineaux.
Norwich has taken the lead on Stoke.
Fulham have an early corner.Duff took it , it was cleared, then he crossed to Hennessey.
Catching practice for Scwarzer.
Bit of dishwashing, bit of the "Leeds United Calypso" now.
Good news Someone. Yellows will be happy.
Well done, the Canaries!
Peter Beagrie and Gary McAllister in the studio. Gazza thinks Leeds have been the better side. I don't know about that.
The Hammers up into fourth on the strength of their lead. We're down to 18th unfortunately. I'd love a draw - have I said that already?
That was a shocking penalty from Gradel! AWFUL!!! Are you happy, WHR?
Yeah - we needed better from Maxi. He scored a lovely one on the opening day in stoppage time against the Saints.
A draw would be a good result for Leeds, but the Hammers would want a win since the match is at Upton Park. That was a neutral statement. {.)
John Rise wins a corner for Fulham.
Hennessey does well to catch the corner.
Email has been sent!!!!
Kevin Doyle wins a free kick just outside the box.
I think Leeds have had more possession
Dropped catch in the cricket... 246 for 7
League Cup this midweek.. Exeter v LiverSox.... come on EXETER
If Kevin Doyle and Shane Long do well this season then Robbo Keane will be surplus to requirements for his national team.
Ready for the second half. C'mon West Ham!
COME ON YOU GRECIANS.It should be a cracker at St. James' Park.
We're underway in the second half, then. No changes to either side.
Four years since West Ham have won 4 straight league games... quite a run
No changes and we're off
The second half kicks off from Upton Park.
Admission: saw the penalty. Very Menditto-esque!
The Hammers have an early corner.
Cole should have done better from the center of the goal
You nearly did get a replay. Cole rising to meet an early corner there. Should have done better. Tom Lees is just not handling him at all.
Carlton Cole headed well wide. That clip on the heel must be looming large.
Decent cross there from McCormack but no one was there.
Great defending from Scott Parker after a some great Leeds possesion.
Oh - big shout for a penalty as Aidy White goes down. I thought the ref got it right. The color guy doesn't.
Norwich take their 1 nil lead to the break
League leaders Motherwell kick off against Rangers
Head tennis anyone? Fat Sam must have a big grin.
The replay makes it look more like a pen. I don't know.
Okay. . . that was a penalty. Not that you would've converted, but a penalty nonetheless.
Good start from us again now.
True. I'm sure that Maxi would've stepped up again to take it.
Clayton was fouled in midfield. It was a bit late.
oh... should have scored twice!!
Leeds looking dangerous
OHHHHHH - first Keogh hits Green when he's through one-on-one and then Ross pops his effort well over.
I just woke up all the dogs in the neighborhood.
West Ham are wearing black with the yellow trim, right?
That should have been 1-1 as Rob Green made a great reflex save, then Ross McCormack volleyed the rebound over when he had an open goal.
Keep it up, lads. Keep it up.
Come on!
I think both John or I would have put both of those chances away! The Italian Stallions should be on the pitch!!
Correct John. You are very observant so early in the morning.
Oh - great cross by Gradel for McCormack but it's well defended by Reid.
I second that, UWS.
Did you two ever play on the same side?
Ilunga was crap in the Premiership. Still crap in the Championship.
The Hammers defenders have been dealing with the Leeds crosses.
We were both on the field for the 15 goal game
