Lakenheath Old Boys
We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

At work today but will try to poke my head in here while keeping up on the scores from the beeb.
Been really busy since returning from Scotland.
I'm back at 2:30 to monitor the matches. The one that most intrigues me is Citeh's match against current holders Birmingham City.
Afternoon, Someone. How are things in Columbus?
I'm sure you'll have a keen eye on that Everton match against the Baggies.
Things are well here. Thinking about the breakup of REM. Nothing too morose.
Hoping Everton can keep this run going.
Hey, Celtic are up on Ross County :)
I haven't been able to find a link for Citeh v. Brum match, so I'm just following along on the Gillette Soccer Special.
Wow - I hadn't heard about that break-up. I suppose the band had run it's course. I reckon that its amazing how bands will stay together for the long haul. The 20th anniversary celebrations of grunge bands such as Pearl Jam are making me feel old these days.
Craig Bellamy has fired Liverpool into the lead at Brighton. I'm delighted that the Seagulls have a tough one tonight, only two days before a titanic clash with LUFC on Friday night.
Gary Hooper has put Celtic 0-1 up at Ross County in the Scots League Cup.
Talk about Fantasy Football - Owen Hargreaves has smashed in his first goal for Man Citeh in his first competitive match in about three seasons. Wow!
Jos Hooiveld has put the Saints one up over PNE in the Carling Cup clash between two in-form sides.
In the all Championship fixture in the Carling tonight, Cardiff have taken the lead through Don Cowie.
Leicester have pegged back Cardiff to 1-1 through Steve Howard.
Citeh are 2-0 up through Balo. He's roused himself to put a bit of non-iPad, headphone activity tonight then.
An own goal puts Celtic up 2-0.
Went to the local Celtic supporters group on Sunday morning. There were over a dozen people watching the Hoops get blown off the pitch in the second half.
Celtic are 0-2 up now. An own goal by Scott Boyd benefiting the Hoops.
Sounds like a good time Someone.
The second halves have started in the Carling Cup.
Penalty to Fulham! And Alex has been sent off for a professional foul that led to the spotkick.
Kasami steps up and....
Misses - hit the crossbar!
Still 0-0.
Not the season to make a penalty!
Celtic advance in the Scottish Cup while Falkirk are up 1-0 on Rangers!
Leicester have gone 1-2 up at Evil Cardiff. Lloyd Dyer with the goal.
And Adam Lallana has fired Soton 2-1 into the lead against PNE.
Speaking of spotkicks, WBA have a pen at Goodison.
Jan Mucha gave away the pen and it's been scored by Chris Brunt.
It's the return of Stevie G. now at Brighton.
poop.
Falkirk have doubled their lead. Go Bairns!
Falkirk now 2-0 up!
Still fifteen minutes left in the Carling Cup 7:45 kickoffs. About half an hour left at Goodison.
I'm off home, then. I'll catch up with things in a few minutes.
As I type, Cardiff have equalized - it's 2-2 there.
Uh oh - game on at Falkirk. 2-1 there.
The Carling Cup is still creaking along tonight with several games in extra time including Cardiff-Leicester, Chelski-Fulham and Everton-WBA.
Someone Said will be delighted to see the deadlock broken at Goodison - the only goalscorer is the Little Neviller.
Liverpool have prevailed 1-2 at Brighton. Citeh have cruised to a 2-0 win and Soton have edged out PNE 2-1.
Cardiff and Leicester are in penalties now.
Chelski and Fulham have finished at 0-0. Pens started now.
3-3 so far on the penalties - Zamora, Dembele and Baird for Fulham; Sidwell, Kalou and Terry for Chelski.
Chelski have the upperhand - Malouda scored and then Bryan Ruiz missed for Fulham. 4-3 Chelski now. The next pen from Chelski can win it.
Chelski have won it. Cardiff are also through to the 4th Round.
The draw is up at the end of play on Saturday.
