Looks like premiumtv is going to be showing the Spurs/Liverpool match
FSC+ have the three other matches on today.... FSC have the bloody Serie A
Morning, Dave - I'm here looking forward to some terrific Super Sunday footie this morning. How are you, mate?
In the Old Firm derby, Rangers took a 1-0 lead but Celtic have fought back to to take a 2-1 lead at Ibrox
Not to worry, mate. We'll find some links. I'm on the quest now.
Morning, I hope it is terrific... for me
Again, I have the Spurs Sox match on Premium TV going strong
Tottenham v Liverpool line-ups
Tottenham: Friedel, Walker, Kaboul, King, Assou-Ekotto, Kranjcar, Parker, Modric, Bale, Adebayor, Defoe. Subs: Cudicini, Pavlyuchenko, Van der Vaart, Giovani, Bassong, Corluka, Livermore.
Liverpool: Reina, Skrtel, Carragher, Agger, Jose Enrique, Henderson, Lucas, Adam, Downing, Suarez, Carroll. Subs: Doni, Maxi, Coates, Kuyt, Spearing, Bellamy, Robinson.
Referee: Mike Jones (Cheshire)
The teams are coming out of the tunnel at WHL as Sky goes to commercial
The Old Firm match is at the half
The matches at the SOL and the Cottage both start at 10 o'clock and the big one of course starts at 11
If Fulham, Sunderland and Spurs win their HOME games then Arsenal will be in the bottom three!!
Which link are you on for Premium TV?
Carra overtakes Tommy Smith in the all time list of Liverpool appearances.
We are off
Sky sports 1
Lovely - cheers, mate!
Good morning everyone.I am here to join you for the action. I do not have Fox Soccer Plus. I am wondering if you have a link for the match.
I wish I were going to be around on Tuesday for the biggie.
Morning, MUR! Go to http://www.mypremium.tv/
And then select Sky Sports 1.
These two team were the ones battling it out for the last European place last season.
LiverSox were playing the better but Spurs came in to Anfield and won 2-0
My Prem Tv link likes to, for no reason, change to another page. I missed the Adebayor chance!
I have it back now
Morning MUR
I won't be around on Tuesday either!!
Matt has a match
Spurs are getting some chances.... good break and cross by Bale
When is Carroll going to get a bloody haircut!!!
WHAT A GOAL!!!!!
MODRIC WITH A BULLET
GOAL! Want away Modric with a super goal!
Spurs 1-0 up!
Right foot shot in the upper ninety!!!
That goal was inside the first 7 minutes!
I think Carroll should stick with the ponytail. Players are very sensitive psychologically and even slight changes in their preparation can ruin them. Think about both Torres and Adebayor - neither was as good after they adopted more sensible hairstyles.
Thank you UWS and BD. As I joined Spurs took the lead.
Nice timing!
That goal has Spurs up to mid-table at 11th. Liverpool drop a slot to 7th.
Agger is down hurt. Was this from the goal? He was hurt then too
I missed the goal, but I saw the replay. It was a bullet. Someone On Liversox slipped and gave possession away to Gareth Bale.
How are you, MUR?
Thanks UWS. Was it Agger that slipped.
Glad I won't be missing the matches today
Congrats on the win Bob. Did Leeds take the lead? Fall behind?
Wonder if Tony and his mate are there today
Great BD. How are you? I am a little tired. It's as if I haven't completely recovered from the work week.
Adam in the book
The refs do give out these cards too much
Leeds took an early lead, Bristol City tied it up shortly after that. Then Leeds had a player sent off for conceding a penalty. Lonergan saved the penalty, then Leeds scored a late winner. They want to test Bob's blood pressure
More chances from Spurs!
Great skill with a turn and shot by Modric again... saved by Pepe
We had an early, early lead through Adam Clayton, then our old by Neil Kilkenny came back to haunt us. It was 1-1 at half time. Then with thirty minutes left, Becchio came on to set up McCormack for the winner.
Nearly 2-0 as Reina makes a great save from Modric then Liversox struggle to clear.
Rangers have tied it at 2 at Ibrox
I see what you're saying about the link popping off unannounced.
I think Paddy Kisnorbo was sent off when he conceded the penalty. As you stated Alex Bruce will take his place in the battle of the LOB teams in the Carling Cup.
Thanks for letting me know about the match
I HATE MISSING IT!
Of course, the boys are worth it
Blimey - yesterday's 606 is more than 90 minutes long - it could me forever to download just now!
Skrtel is struggling at right back.It was a great tackle by Agger.
What do you think of Spurs Little and Large front duo?
I guess VDV playing behind
BLOODY HELL.... my link automatically changed again to a completely different website
We've got a really difficult schedule coming up this week. Of course the biggie on Tuesday, which is a revenue builder rather than a proper match. I reckon that your third team could turn us over.
Then we've got Brighton away on Friday evening.
How have you been UWS? I am glad Matt's and Jon's matches went well. You must be exhausted too.
One one..... NO... offside!! Suarez puts the ball in the net but called back... he was offside
I have very nostalgic feelings about the Little and Large duos. I think more teams should try it. It worked like gangbusters in the 70s. Think Keeg and Tosh.
And it almost worked there! My Golden Boot Boy has the ball in the net- but he was offside.
Suarez has a goal called back for offside and he was well offside. That was the correct decision Kenny.
I'm exhausted and I haven't got any kids to look after. How do you two do it?
Thanks MUR... very very very busy
Match on Friday, two yesterday
This week matches on Tues, 2 on Wed, Thurs and Saturday. The game on Sat is later so I should be around
As for the Brighton match, you'll be able to watch that Bob
I like the little and large pairing. I agree with the Liversox analogy. Suarez's playing style is similar to Keegan's and Carroll to Tosh's. They were Dalglish's predecessors in terms of playing.
When I was talking Little and Large I was talking about Defoe and Adebayor and didn't even think about Suarez and Carroll
My link went to a different web site. I am reloading the link. I may be able to join Bob for part of the Brighton match as I have a late conference period that day.
What bothers me about the way that so many teams line up is that they don't have striking partnerships any more. Two up front used to be standard usually with one or two wide men bombing forward as well. Now it's usually just one striker with perhaps another VDV type player in the hole and perhaps some width.
I do agree that Dafoe and Adebayor can work too.I like the pairing.
What team do you think SAF will put out today?
Cleverley isn't available so he can't play his starting line up from the other matches
Will Park play in a big game again... he did play on Wednesday though
Who will take Cleverley's place? Giggs? Carrick?
Ade goes into the book for a rash one on Carroll.
Adebayor is in the book for a late challenge.
Forget about today - what side will you put out on Tuesday. I'm hoping for the Tea Ladies XI.
I am guessing Carrick or Park because they play that role. I would pick Park because he seems to do well in the big games.
Surely not Giggs again today. The old man needs at least a fortnight's recuperation after his antics on Wednesday night.
You might get your wish,BD. I think the Brighton match might be a reunion as Gus was Leeds' assistant and the team did so well when he was Helping Dennis wise.
I really think the Scousesox are missing Mereiles - I do not know why they sold him to Chelski.
So here comes Suarez's mate Coates coming on for the struggling Daniel Agger.
Coates comes on for his Liversox debut as the big Uruguayan is on for Agger.
Indeed - we'll also be meeting up again with Kasper Ankergren on Friday night.
Finally, Agger has buggered off... he's been hurt for 20 minutes!!
Coates to replace him. He is from Uruguay.
ADAM IS OFF!!!
Rangers have retaken the lead... 3-2
Red card for Charlie Adam!
It's his second yellow - he did catch Parker there but I think it's a bit harsh.
Charlie Adam is off for an early bath as he receives a second yellow as he was high and late on Scott Parker. It will be an uphill battle for Liversox.
He had his eye on the ball all the time
I think the first one was harsh
Wow - the link popped off and it went straight to a leaked image of ScarJo's bum. Not that I'm complaining that much but...I'm trying to watch the match, lads!
Bale to take the free kick... into the wall
It will be a Spurs free kick just outside the box.Bale shoots into the wall.
I'm back on again. You know, I remember when a red card was really rare and almost a humiliation for the player involved. Now it's akin to fouling out of a game in basketball. Adam hardly looked humiliated there - more like bemused as he trotted off.
I forgot about Ankergren. I thought he did a great job for Leeds.
I thought he would feel humiliated as his team are down a player after falling behind with a great part of the match remaining.
GORDON BENNETT!!
My website did it again!! I wasn't anywhere near the computer and it all of a sudden changes to an advertisement website... has it happened to you?
Liverpool fan Al_Khulaq on Twitter: "Tottenham fans singing to us are you Arsenal disguise - cheeky."
If I didn't know it then , then I know it now. Andy Carroll can't defend!
Yeah - it's happened a few times. It launches you onto "My Damned Channel," featuring a close-up shot of ScarJo's bum. Put me right off my breakies, that did.
They may be. At least their defense isn't nearly as soft.
I agree with you Bob about Reds... it happens far too much
Lucas gives away a dangerous free kick now. Bale can line another one up.
Speaking of Reds... Celtic just got one
We've had four red cards already in only seven matches played in the league - that's absurd!
Spurs have another free kick. The link paused, but it looked like Bale shot over from the free kick.
Still only 1-0... doesn't feel like it
Liverpool are just not clicking at all today. What's happened to them. They were flying before the International Break.
It sounds like an exciting Old Firm match
Now it's Skrtel who's been booked. The referee is very card happy today.
Now Skrtel is booked as I listen to some yoyo talk about teaching financial theory.
The Old Firm teams, I noticed, are already five or six points separated from the rest of the pack. Ho hum.
I agree. Kenny will not be pleased. It sure will make it easier for Bale to take advantage.
I suppose that ScarJo's bum is preferable to the chatter about the financial system. I shouldn't complain.
I think Motherwell would be up there , but for that thrashing against Rangers
Another card... I think they are given out far too much
Watch video of the 70s and 80s.... the tackles were hard and called but not carded.
Souness would have been sent off every match!
The cards I don't like is when players are going for the ball and the striker moves it at the last minute.... it was skill that beat the defender!
I think it is money... the players are too valuable and too pampered
I would prefer listening to talk about her bum.
How many cards will Liverpool get??
Another one for Sebastian Coates
I agree UWS. Spot on!
Now it's Coates who's booked for bringing down Adebayor. This is getting out of hand. The crowd was baying for a red!
Coates is booked for a foul outside the box as he fouled Adebayor.
Fans cheering Adebayor.... strange isn't it
We are just all fans of LAUNDRY! What shirt they're wearing is all that matters!
The free kick from Modric is deflected on to the roof of the net for a corner.
Modric takes...into the wall and out for a corner.
ooh Defoe whips the ball across there but no one was there... they need an Arsenal defender in there to poke it in!!!
Dafoe volleys wide as header from the corner made it his way.
Speaking of laundry....thanks for the reminder, mate!
Spurs really need another one
Boom boom, UWS. But Gooner wouldn't have appreciated that.
My link just froze.
Parker is holding his neck... he points a Suarez with an accusing finger!
I am reloading the link.
I know.. I felt bad when I was typing it!
But it is true... they would have buried that one
The link is back on and now it froze again!
Four added minutes
Four minutes of stoppage time.
The only good thing for Liversox is that it is only 1-0.
Useless by Coates. A tough debut for the defender.
This half has gone on forever. Blow up, ref. I've got to have a slash.
Bloody hell - Suarez has got a yellow for sarcastic clapping now!
Suarez in the book for his mouth and gestures..... how many cards have there been
Half time
Only 1-0
This is ridiculous. That was a petty yellow card for Suarez. It is 1-0 to Spurs at halftime as this is a half that Liversox will want to forget.
That's half-time then. 1-0 to the Spurs from the one moment of real quality. The ref has rather ruined the affair in my mind with needless interventions.
I am trying to find out who is actually covering the Citeh match. I don't think it is on any sky channel
Rangers lead Celtic 4-2 in stoppage time.
We've had one yellow for Spurs (Adeybayor) and four for Liverpool including the two for Adam.
I don't know that Citeh would be televised. Fox Soccer Plus might televise it later in the day.
Rangers have defeated Celtic 4-2.
The Old Firm match has finished
Ranger took the lead 1-0, fell behind 2-1 and won 4-2
I know it is on FSC PLus on tape dealy but I was hoping to find the live feed from England
Good point,UWS. The first half of that match will be on at the same time as the second half of this match. There sure is plenty of football on today.
DId you know that all of United's Champions League matches are followed by home games... HENCE.... Citeh have all away games!!!
How sad, how bad... never mind
Fulham v Man City line-ups
Fulham: Schwarzer, Kelly, Baird, Hangeland, John Arne Riise, Duff, Murphy, Sidwell, Dempsey, Zamora, Dembele. Subs: Etheridge, Orlando Sa, Kasami, Ruiz, Senderos, Gecov, Grygera.
Man City: Hart, Richards, Kompany, Lescott, Clichy, Barry, Toure Yaya, Nasri, Aguero, Silva, Dzeko. Subs: Pantilimon, Zabaleta, Johnson, Kolarov, Toure, Tevez, Balotelli.
Referee: Mark Clattenburg (England)
We have seniority. It is fair and appropriate. It should be that way every year.
VDV is on for Krnacjar.
After the Clash of the Uniteds are followed on Wednesday by Brighton v Liverpool
That should be a good one
VDV is on for Krancjar for the second half
The second half kicks off from WHL.
Dafoe shot wide from a great pass ,but was offside.
Defoe should have added to Spurs' lead there.
Gus' lot has Liversox followed by Leeds. Some great matches.
Did you say you guys play Brighton Friday??? They play Liverpool on Wednesday. Surely that can't be right
There is a gripping CONCACAF world Cup qualifier at 3 as St. Vincent and the Grenadines host Grenada. I know everyone at LOB is looking forward to that one. I have an excuse. There is a a parents meeting at Melanie's symphonette practice.
That is correct,UWS. I don't understand the schedulers.
You're right... that is unfair!
Sotton and Brum to start soon in the Championship
Ipswich and Coventry play tomorrow
Spurs really need to get another goal here
Two EPL matches kick off in just under twenty minutes.
I got tired of the jumpy link on My Premium and am onto this one. It's the FSP coverage with David Pleat but it's a minute ahead without the jumpiness.
http://www.firstrowsports.tv/watch/84596/1/watch-tottenham-vs-liverpool-fc.html
How about St. Vincent and the Grenadines vs Grenada? are you up for that BD and UWS. I am sorry that I cannot make that match.
I have had no jumpiness from ptv.. just sometimes goes to another link. I will give yours a chance
Suarez looks really grumpy today. He needs to calm down.
You're right, it is ahead
40 seconds ahead
No thanks, mate. If it were my Belizean brothers, I might get up for it. But, no.
Kyle Walker is fouled by Jose Enrique.
Bale with an effort... I think he should have passed it off
VDV shoots the free kick straight to Reina.
I had a feeling you would say that. I thought you would get a laugh from that. That is actually being played today.
Again, Parker has almost been invisible. I have not heard his name called much at all... but everyone is going gaga over his play
Oh - that was poor from Ade. He just didn't have the confidence to hit it with his left peg.
A chance for Defoe and Adebayor to break but wasted
I think Harry wants Parker to be more of a holding midfielder than at West Ham where he was the play maker. He will have a more defensive role at Spurs. This is my best guess.
Liverpool have a dangerous free kick opportunity now after Suarez flops.
I might shift over to the Citeh match at the top of the hour if I can find a good link for it.
CHARLIE Mulgrew(Celtic) and CHARLIE Adam(Sox) both got Reds today... any Charlies on display later today?
Do Chelsea have any Charlies?
How about those Canaries! First road EPL win since winning at Palace on Dec 17, 1994.
Suarez....high, wide and 'orrible.
Very dangerous free kick for Sox... Suarez with a hopeless attempt
Wow - Liverpool down to nine!
Skrtel is off!
Liversox have a free kick just outside the box.Suarez curls over , failing to trouble Freidel, who played for Liverpool years ago.
Skrtel with another yellow and a red!!!
The ref has been in WHITE TODAY
Is his name Charlie Skrtel
I can't believe it. Liversox are down to nine as Skrtel is sent off for a second yellow. That must settle this match.
Downing tries one from distance. Straight into Brad's arms.
Nice quoting of Gerry Harrison... is that his name from Match of the Week
I agree., UWS. Are the players deciding who wins this match or the ref? I hate when refs decide a match.
How can Liversox come back with nine men.
Defoe settles it!!
The ref has done his best to put this to bed but a nice finish by Defoe... Shielded well, turned and in
GOAL! Oh - Defoe did so well there. He was played through by Bale but still had a lot of ground and Enrique to beat. He did that with a lovely turn and then shot well into the near corner.
2-0!
Is there another link? Mine has been deleted due to copyright infringement.
3-0! It's a rout! Adebayor!
I missed the goal due to the link being deleted.
I missed that one too!
Are you on this one, mate?
http://www.firstrowsports.tv/watch/84596/1/watch-tottenham-vs-liverpool-fc.html
Take the dog out for a poop and miss another goal
Adebayor scores on his Spurs home debut... nice skill
This one's in the ledger now, so I'm switching over to Fulham v. Citeh:
http://www.firstrowsports.tv/watch/84618/3/watch-fulham-fc-vs-manchester-city.html
This is the first score that I wanted today
A London team in white playing at home winning.
A second London team playing in white playing at home to win in the next match please
The other London, in blue, can stink up the joint!
Spurs are up to 11th with this win
Spanish language commentary and shaky camera work here. I'm going to keep looking.
Thanks Bob. I have the link. Enjoy the walk Dave.
Sorry Dave. I thought you left. I agree with your statement about the London teams.
I am happy with the score, not the way it was decided.
Pleat will be happy due to his Spurs connections.
I have Pleat on my commentary.
