Lakenheath Old Boys

We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

A Champion is a Champion

I still love him!

You are my Solskjaer
My Ollie Solskjaer
You make me happy
When skies are grey

You're never boring
You just keep scoring
Please don't take my Solskjaer away

Well done Ollie

Incredible - the baby faced assassin is purportedly 38 but still looks 16.

He has always been one of my favorites. He never let the team down. I particularly remember the treble winning season when he came off the bench with ten minutes remaining to score four goals at Forest as we won 8-1. He scored in the CL final that same season as we beat Bayern with two stoppage time goals as it appeared that Bayern had their name on the trophy. I would like to add that he almost single handedly won us the EPL title in 2003. We were trailing the Gunners by ten to twelve points and SAF did the boot in the eye thing to Beckham which resulted in Beckham never playing another game for United. OGS played the remainder of the season on the right side of midfield and in my opinion did a better job than Beckham ever did despite being an out and out striker. We overtook Arsenal and won the title. OGS never complained despite being a sub quite often and was always a true gentleman. I am delighted that he won the title in his first managerial job. Well done OGS!

Couldn't agree more!

During the treble season, he scored a last minute winner against Liverpool to put us on the way to Wembley.
He was a total unknown that Fergie bought and ended up being one of his BEST ever signings

Molde had never won the league until Ollie came along

Could he go and be a success in the dug out at Old Trafford?
