Lakenheath Old Boys

We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

There's also Olivier Giroud from Montpellier to Arsenal that's a done deal. In between dreading the announcement of where RVP will end up I am actually quite excited to see how he fits in and hope he gets off to a flying start.

What I noticed is there is quite a bit of transfer activity, but I am surprised that most of the signings are free transfers. Is this a sign of the times?Due to the plight of Rangers will clubs be able to find bargains from Ibrox? The most active clubs seem to be Chelsea , QPR, Spurs ,and Fulham.UWS and I will be pleased to see that Park Ji Sung went to QPR while Fabio is there on loan. We also signed Nick Powell from Crewe and Sean Goss from Exeter City.Other transfers are Rob Green West Ham to QPR, Ryan Nelsen Spurs to QPR, Andy Johnson Fulham to QPR, Paddy Kenny QPR to Leeds Solomon Kalou Chelsea to Lille, Marko Marin Werder Bremen to Chelsea, Didier Drogba Chelsea to Shanghai Shehua,Jan Vertongen Ajax to Spurs, Nicko Krnacjar Spurs to Dynamo Kiev,Corluka Spurs to Lokamotiv Moscow, Gylfi Sigurdsson Hoffenheim to Spurs, Maxi Rodriguez Liverpool to Newells Old Boys, Jussi Bolton to West Ham, Keith Andrews West Brom to Bolton, Malden Petric Hamburg to Fulham, Hugo Rodallega Wigan to Fulham, Dirk Kuyyt Liverpool to Fenerbache, Kusczak Man United to Brighton, Steven Whittaker Rangers to Norwich,Woodgate Stoke to Middlesbrough. There are many others, but this should be plenty for now.
