Lakenheath Old Boys
We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

I won't be around for this one fellas
I am off to watch Tom's scrimmage
Scrimmage? Bloody hell, mate. That's extra duty for you as a parent. Enjoy it!
I'm here and looking forward to the match. It's being broadcast on ESPN2 with Ian and Macca on board this afternoon. I'm at the office so I've got the usual link up through Front Row.
Here are the starting line-ups for tonight's match at the Bridge:
Chelski - Cech, Cashley, Cahill, Ivanovic, Terry, Mikel, Lamps, Torres, Mata, Hazard
Reading - Federici, Gunter, Pearce, Gorkss, Harte, McCleary, Guthrie, Karacan, Leigerwood, McAnuff, Pav Pogs
Ref - Lee Mason
Kick-off time at the Bridge!
Blackburn play Hull City tonight. Hull are the last side that have a chance of matching Blackpool perfect record in the league.
Mata streaks through and lays off to Hazard. He shanks his shot wide right of goal. Good luck, though.
Torres was trying to get free there but was ruled against.
Chelski look a 100% brighter and more attractive early this season than they did last.
Lovely move ends with Ramires running through on his right foot. Unfortunately, he felt he had to jink back onto his left. Good save by Federici in the Reading goal.
Pav Pogs with a half chance there. It's incredible that Fulham sold him and has Clint Dempsey having a strop but still scored 5 goals on Saturday. Cor!
Oh - great stuff from Torres. Nearly a wonder solo goal there but for the last ditch tackle by Pearce.
Great to see Ian Harte playing in the Premiership again. He is still an Elland Road legend.
More attractive stuff through Hazard, who looks as if he's played at Chelski all his life.
Cashley with a miscue as horrible as his haircut.
Ramires is the one Chelski who seems to be on the wrong wavelength. He might have to go off early. He was out at the weekend for illness. Looks under the weather tonight.
Hazard wins another penalty for Chelski - two in two games. Just pure dribbling magic drew Danny Guthrie in.
Lamps is going to have a lot of these if Hazard keeps it up....
Great pen this time. 2-0!
Lampard goes to the top of the scoring chart thanks largely to his new teammate Eden Hazard.
Good camera work that zooms in on Bryan McDermott's notes, including "Stay on Lampard."
GOAL! Wow - Pav Pogs with a super header to level things!!!!
1-1
You could just see that developing down the left through Leigertwood but it still required a superb headed flick from about 14 yards to beat Cech. Fantastic!
Why would Fulham let Pav Pogs go - he's terrific!
Terry goes into the book for a cynical tackle.
Leeds old boy Ian Harte over this free kick now. He can score from here.
GOAL! 1-2!
A real howler by Cech there as Guthrie whipped the free kick in and it bobbled off the keeper and in.
Oh - Reading were nearly in there again but McAnuff took too many chances.
Oh - Torres had a headed half chance there. This is a ripping match!
Hazard is fouled again by Paracan and the ref is being really patient.
Oh - JT had a chance there from the free kick. Just a bit high.
Blackburn and Hull locked at 0-0 going into the interval.
Harte has a chance to whip one in left footed here.
Oh - that might have gone in! Close call.
Reading could easily be 1-3 up now. Crikey!
I'm off to the post office and then home to watch the second half. See you then!
I'm back at the hour mark. Still 1-2.
Brazilian youngster Oscar has come on. He looked a bit short of the pace on Sunday. Let's see how he does today.
Cor - Chelski really piling it on now but it just won't go in.
About time - RDM finally gives up on the two holding middies and pulls Obi Mikel off. Sturridge on. Should have been on from the off.
GOAL! Cahill blasts home from distance!
2-2!
Another goalkeeping howler from Federici. He had a bad one on Saturday and that's another. It swerved a bit but he should have had time to put his cap on it.
Now Chelski are firmly back in the driver's seat with twenty minutes to go.
Pav Pogs has done his job tonight. He's off to be replaced by Noel Hunt.
GOAL! Torres taps home from what looked like an offside position!
3-2!
Terrible decision - Torres was a mile offside there. Appalling.
I'm surprised that the Reading defenders weren't going potty there.
McAnuff strikes a good one at goal but Cech saved well.
Raul Meireles on for a late cameo - Juan Mata coming off.
Well into stoppage time now.
Last chance saloon. Free kick about thirty yards out. Ian Harte time.
Blasted it through, deflected out for a corner. Now it's the last chance.
Federici is up for it....
And Chelski has run it back up the pitch and Ivanovic has scored.
4-2!
So, Ivanovic now also has two goals on the season. Crazy.
Full-time: 4-2. Terrific game with a score-line that flatters Chelski a bit. They always looked like winning it but Reading made them work.
That's it for me tonight. Cheerio, chaps!
