GB vs Uruguay Olympic Footie
GB take on Uruguay, a team that includes Liverpool players Luis Suarez and Seb Coates.Craig Bellamy , another Liverpool player will be key in their goal to defeat Uruguay at the Millenium Stadium, his home town stadium.It should be a great match with all sorts of scenarios as Senegal takes on the UAE at the same time. If GB ins the group then they will play South Korea in the quarters. The group runner up will play a tough and well disciplined Mexican team in the quarters. Uruguay is still in it , but they must win in order to advance.Not easy for GB as a win doesn't guarentee top spot in the group because Senegal would win the group if they win by a larger margin than GB.

Great job by Bellamy to get past Arevalo and a cross from Ramsey is deflected is nearly converted as the Uruguay defense for once was caught out

Better from Uruguay as Suarez has a shot deflected off of Richards and straight to Butland. Now Richards is down with what looks like an injured hammy.
I had to bugger off and Sturridge scored on the stroke of halftime as he cut in front of the keeper to stick it home from close range after a great run and pass from Joe Allen.The second half has kicked off and Scott Sinclair had a shot from close range come off the post, but he was flagged offside.
Senegal have tied it up vs the UAE. As things stand, GB lead the group, but it would be helpful for GB to increase their lead.
Cleverley was thuggishly tackled just outside the box , but GB retained possession.The player was later booked and slammed the ball to the ground. The young Uruguayans are lacking in discipline and composure.

PHEW! Suarez easily cut inside Caulker , then with just Butland to beat, the keeper made a superb double save, then his back four combined to desperately clear.
GB dominant, but Uruguay showed that they are dangerous on the break, and it helps to have the likes of Suarez up front.

Cavani basically tried to start a fight with Bellamy because he handed the captain's arm band to Richards and put it on him.Psycho came in to calm him down. Poor by Cavani, who could have easily been booked.

Uruguay are surprisingly out, but with this thuggish and temperamental display it's good riddance.
Celtic defeat HJK Helsinki 2-1 at Celtic Park in a first leg CL qualifier in Glasgow as they have a slender lead and have conceded a vital home goal.
