Lakenheath Old Boys

We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

A "Black Friday" for Sparky

Somehow Mark Hughes survived a few days longer than Roberto Di Matteo and thus didn't win the sack race this season but inevitably he's been made to walk the plank today. His QPR side have been playing like a pub side recently and it's hard to see them surviving the drop. Next in at Loftus Road - Happy Harry Redknapp - that should be fun to watch.

Not unexpected. Let's remember that when he left Fulham, Al Fayed called Hughes a "strange man" and a "flop" and says he rescued him from becoming a forgotten man after being sacked by Manchester City. Al Fayed forgot to mention thoroughly unlikeable. Buh-bye Sparky.

Also, RDM lasted six days longer at Chelsea than AVB. SO, What next for Hughes? ER? We sure hope not. Evil QPR are so evil that they didn't even let Hughes win the sack race .Also, Hughes must be dillusional as he expected to be in charge on Sunday at OT. LOL, Hughes! Harry" Helen Reddy" is an evil manager at an evil club. I did not pick QPR for the drop, figuring that they would make a change if they were struggling and that they did. With Reddy in charge, I expect QPR to climb the table, but not on Sunday.

So who will get the bronze? My money is on Paul Lambert if Villa fail to win the relegation six pointer vs Reading on Tuesday.
