We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

I see the USA got a 93rd minute equalizer as they came from behind twice to finish Desmond in Russia
Hiya, UWS - how are you, mate? I saw that. For a moment I thought I might be able to tune in but then my day got filled up.
2-2 with US goals from Bradley and Diskerud. Russian goals from Smolov and, oh, I don't know. Whodyounickabollockov.
In Group H action, Montenegro have inevitably beaten San Marino 3-0 at home. That puts them on top of the group on 10 points from 4 matches and with a GD of 10. England are in second on 8 points from 4 matches and also a GD of 10.

The GOLTV feed seems to have got to the match late as I did. Thought it was a 2:45 kickoff - but they've kicked off at 2:30 instead. Ooops.
Fairly uneventful first five minutes. Come on, lads - it's supposed to be a spectacle, this!
That was a bit nice - interchange between Osman and Wellbeck but Isacksson got down well to save Osman's shot.
Weird side - Raheem Sterling is England's youngest debutant and Leon Osman is the second oldest debutant at 31.
Someone needs to tell Leighton Baines that those mutton chop sideboards went out around 1979.

Just getting in from a quick meeting at England have just equalized. Ashley Young skinned his marker on the wing and shot over a lovely cross that Wellbeck volleyed home. A goal made at Old Trafford.

Nah - my mom got computer literate but my dad has always been frightened of computers. They came along just at the wrong time when he was retiring and had basically sworn off learning anything new. I'm sure I'll get to that point too. I still can't use my phone properly.

Caulker. We know all about Zlatan - mercurial, sometimes brilliant, sometimes rubbish. But Caulker has been a real revelation this season. Could well be a future England mainstay. Already looks the part.

Good grief! A goal which brings the BBC Sport office to their feet! Again, Joe Hart does not cover himself in much glory, coming out of his area to head the ball clear but Zlatan Ibrahimovic, running away from the goal, launches himself into an overhead kick from fully 35 yards which loops high and into the net as Ryan Shawcross tries to get back. Stunning, stunning goal.
