Election Day Footer
Those pesky Europeans are pretending as if there isn't a big event that will keep those of us in the States busy today and have scheduled a full slate of Champions League Gameday 4 and Championship matches today. As usual on a Tuesday, I'll be teaching all afternoon and will be checking in and out during my breaks. Drop by for a cuppa if you have a chance.

I may be around for the first few minutes, if I can get my tests photocopied in time. I have a joke:
How dirty is Citeh?
SO DIRTY THEY NEED TO BE CLEANED WITH AJAX!
Boom boom, MUR - see you around this afternoon.
Boom boom!
I just read these article written the day after SAF was appointed manager of Manchester United... 26 year ago today... the same amount of time United went without a Title!
http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/blog/2012/nov/06/alex-ferguson-joins-manchester-united-26-years
I'll be around for most of the match
I think Chelsea are on FSC and Arsenal are on MSG+
The Mighty LUFC have an away day at Burnley today. I want the three points! MOT!
Good afternoon lads. I took a while to get my tests copied because the copier that collates and staples is out of order so I had to coopy ech page individually. I lost about half an hour doing that.
BLOODY NORAH! Siem De Jong has given Ajax the lead at the Etihad. Citeh on their way out of Europe?
Evil Cardiff have taken the lead at Charlton
Yeah - Citeh are all but out. Taxi for Mancini?
Leeds are locked at 0-0 with Burnley at Turf Moor at the 15 minute mark.
Gooner will be pleased to hear that Arsenal have a 0-2 at Schalke . The goals were scored by Theo and Giroud. Arsenal now lead the group by two points. In the other Group D match Olympiakos leads Montpellier 1-0
Hello BD. Sounds like it for Mancini as the next step would be success in Europe.
WHat a match at the Etihad. Siem De Jong with a Brace put Ajax 0-2 up before Yaya pulled one back for Citeh. In the other Group D match, Borussia Dortmund have a shock lead in the Bernabeu. Marco Reus with the goal. As things stand Dortmund lead the group with ten point followed by Real and Ajax with six points each. Citeh have one solitary point.
One is the loneliest number for Citeh.
Evil Cardiff lead 0-2 at Charlton while Hull City have taken the lead vs Wolves.Blackpool l;ead at Not a Big Club.while Huddersfield lead Blackburn 1-0
Brentford lead at Pompey.
Real haver tied it up vs Dortmund
I am home
Citeh get a goal back
So do Schalke
Real are behind to Dortmund again
Just saw the two AJax goals... boy.. the first one was awful defending!
Nice goal by Yaya
Charlton have a goal back against Cardiff
Leeds still scoreless at Turf Moor
Ipswich losing at Selhurst Park in the battle of new managers 1-0
Balao on for Javi Garcia
Away we go
Augero slips at the wrong time when a break was on
AC Milan losing to Malaga 0-1 at home
They are mid table too... what happened to them
Auguero is fouled again...he jumps up while lying with agony... he's okay
A short free kick gets another to the side of the box
Barry finds some bloke at the top of the box.. volleyed over
BALL IN THE NET... but called offside on Auguero
It's Desmond at the Valley
I dont think there have been any more goals in teh second half in any CL matches
under 30 to go
Opta tweet: "Arsenal have never kept a clean sheet in Germany in the Champions League, now conceding on all eight trips there.
I don't know if I want Citeh to lose this.. I don't want them to finish dead last! I want them to have to worry about the Europa League!
Ajax have a corner.. they've scored from two... so they do a short one!!
Charlton have come all the way back.. they are now leading the leaders 3-2
Blackburn winning at Huddersfield
Hull beating Wolves 2-0
Blackpool winning 1-0 at Hillsborough
Palace still beating Ipswich and that's it besides the barnstormer at the Valley
Citeh need two goals... take off Tevez!!
Brining Jerko on is okay but replace Barry or someone
Sounds off with the picture... very annoying
2107:
How long can Arsenal hold on against this Schalke assault. Ibrahim Afellay drives a shot from range, which Vito Mannone is rigth behind and saves.
Ajax beat United at OT last year in the second leg of the EL tie but lost on agg.
Ajax could have beaten both Manchester clubs in Manchester in the same year
Schalke have come all the way back
It is Desmond in Germany
Ajax take a decent attempt on a free kick.. saved by Hart
Tom says the sound is the same...crowd, kicking of ball.. it is Martin Tyler that is off
Charlton are now FOUR- Two up against Cardiff
Palace have doubled their lead against Flippin Heck McCarthy's
GOAL... Auguero has tied it up
ROUTE ONE!!
Hart's punt, flicked by Balo, finished by Aguero
Desomond
GORDON BENNETT... IT'S FIVE TWO TO CHARLTON!
15 to go
Ajax had a 3 on 2 break but the pass was rubbish
AC Milan have tied it up against Malaga
CHAMPIONS LEAGUE UPDATE
Better news for Arsenal sees nearest rivals Olympiakos surrender their lead against Group B's bottom team Montpellier. The French visitors level at 1-1 through Younes Belhanda, who slots a penalty past the Greek side's former Manchester United goalkeeper Roy Carroll. Paris Saint-Germain, under the guidance of former Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti, score a quickfire double against winless Dinamo Zagreb to strengthen their grip on second place in Group A. Blaise Matuidi and Jeremy Menez net in the space of four minutes as PSG lead 3-0.
Balo with a nice header well saved by the keeper
Tyler's commentary very annoyingly behind!
Arsenal have a fine chance to regain the lead as the ball finds its way to Theo Walcott in the left channel and his shot comes back off the far post. Walcott, as it happens, is flagged offside - but that's more like it from the Gunners.
Ipswich 3 down at Palace... could Palace be back in the big time come May?
Derby beating Barnsley 1-0
Good afternoon, UWS. I see Palace lead Ipswich 3-0. Palace seem to be the in form side in the division.
Gary Lineker, Match of the Day presenter
"Stunning finish from Aguero. If City can turn this around and Dortmund hang on to their lead, what a game Man City v Real Madrid will be..."
Afternoon MUR
Citeh to win another match by the dreaded 3-2 scoreline?
Leeds still scoreless at Burnley
I have feeling Palace could ber celebrating in May
Free kick chance for Citeh from the side of the box... cleared
If Citeh win then they have a must win match vs Real
2123:
Schalke are the ones on the hunt for a winner in Germany. Jermaine Jones cuts in from the right and fires low at goal but Vito Mannone is behind it all the way to drop down and save.
Now Palace lead Ipswich 4-0.
Mick has plenty of work ahead of him at Portman Road.
Real Madrid would be in trouble!
Corner to Ajax... out for a goal kick
I haven't seen that fourth goal for Palace yet
5 to go
Nice cross by Kolarov but Jerko deflects it wide
Brum beating Bristol City 2-0
GOAL... no... offside again!
I thought he was behind the ball
Aguero was offside before he crossed it. It wasn't Jerko putting it in
According to the Beeb
Leeds have been up on possession 56 to 44
Shots
Burnley 15 Leeds 6
Bugger! Just as I'm leaving for class, we've conceded a goal at Turf Moor!
Sounds like Burnley have been the better side. Shots are a more accurate stat thean possession.
It was Kolarov that was offside for the cross... Aguero put it in
Hey Bob
Sorry mate.. I didn't see it
Sorry Bob. As I type Blackpool go 0-2 up at Not a Big Club
I still haven't seen that Burnley goal
If Citeh defeat Real then they would be a point ahead. They are away to Dortmund in the last match and Real are at home to Ajax. It still sounds like advantage Real.
I see Burnley leading 1-0 on the text updates.
Less than a minute of added time for Citeh to get the goal.. it's on the wrong end of the field for Citeh
Ajax makes another change.. just run down the clock but that will add another 30 secs to the end
Real make it Desmond vs Dortmund. Citeh are all , but out if they don't score a late winner
Still in Citeh's end... at the 93rd min
Now a free kick at the half way line.. last chance for a kadoomph
Cieth wan a pen... ref blows for Final whistle
Balo goes right to the ref.... he got some kind of card
Now Citeh players are surrounding the ref.... sore losers!!
PSG four up
Both Group D matches finish Desmond. Citeh need to win at home to real and away to Dortmund to adavance. I don't see that happening
Brighton take the lead vs Young Fergie in stoppage time.
Newport County lead Cambridge United 6-2
All four teams still alive in the group according to FSC
Arsenal have drawn Desmond too
It finishes Desmond between Schalke and the Gunners
Too little too late for Evil Cardiff as they score, but trail Charlton 5-3.
Desmond between Huddersfield and Blackburn
Here are table so far
A
Porto 10
PSG 9
D. Kiev 4
D. Zagreb 0
B

Olympiako 6

Correct, UWS. wide open in Group C as two points separate first place from third.
Derby beat Barnsley 2-0
Brighton have beaten Peterboro 1-0
Hull 2 Wolves 1
Forest and Boro draw nil nil
Shef Wed 0 Blackpool 2
Burnely 1 Leeds 0
Citeh still have a shot. They can still reach 8 points
Off to help Jon with Math homework and then go off to college
Talk to you guys tomorrow
TTFN
Cheers, BD.
Sorry, I meant UWS, but also cheers to BD.
Evil Cardiff scored another onbe in stoppage time, but lost 5-4 at Charlton while Palalce scored another as they thrashed Ipswich 5-0 and go top of the Championship as a result. Evil Cardiff with that loss move down to third place. I will be back for the election coverage . Cheers!
