An Early EPL Morning as London is Calling
This round of EPL fixtures starts with the North London Derby at the EM and concludes with United playing at Carrow Road. BD will need to be up early as the Derby kicks off at 4:445 AM PST while I am up early to take Melanie to school, so she can take the bus to a tennis meet.Is anyone else having an early morning? In the words of BD, come join us for the usual banter and nonsense. Hope these teams do as well as the mighty Red Ants!

Dropped Melanie off for tennis as I was up before the garage sales people and it was still dark outside.I am having English muffins and coffee.
Ian and Macca are on as ESPN 2 is finally broadcasting from the EM.
BLOODY HELL!!! what is AVB thinking? Brad has been dropped for the North London Derby. Wouldn't he want him in goal for this match? I expect the Gunners to win this derby.
Three goals in eight North London Derbies is an excellent return for a left back. They will need that as the shaky Lloris is in goal.
Finally, daylight as the match will kick off any minute
The match has already kicked off as I was in the loo. A nasty foul by Sandro
Nasty by Sandro on Jack in midfield. He's asking for a card.
A long free kick is easily headed away
At halftime, it's Aberdeen 0 Celtic 0
Theo is miles offside.
Not a good day for the Yanks as Brad and Clint are on the bench.
Nasty blocking foul by Vermaelen on LUFC Academy Boy.
GOAL !!! No it isn't as Billy Gallas was flagged offside , but it was a lovely striker's finish. The free kick by Bale was easily headed away, a shot from Fatty was blocked and made it to Gallas.
GOAL!!! THIS ONE COUNTS AS ADE SCORES ON HIS RETURN TO THE EM. A NICE LONG BALL FROM BALE TO DAFOE, WHO HAD HIS SHOT SAVED BY MANNONE AND ADE EASILY PUT THE REBOUND AWAY
OH! Nearly 0-2 as LUFC Academy shot about an inch wide from a nice build up.
The Gunners defense is being torn to shreds.
Nice speedy run by LUFC Academy, but Kos was there to mop up.
Better from the Gunners as it was a nice through ball, but Vertongehn scrambled clear then Gallas makes a nice tackle on Arteta to prevent a shot on goal
WOW!!! ADE GOES FROM HERO TO VILLAIN AS THE FANS WERE SHOUTING FOR RED CARD AND GOT THEIR WISH AS IT WAS AN X RATED CHALLENGE ON CARZOLA. THE CORRECT DECISION BY WEBBIE, BUT CARZOLA WAS POOR AS HE MADE IT LOOK WORSE THAN IT WAS.LOTS OF PUSHING AND SHOVING AFTER THE FOUL. ALSO POOR BY YOUNG JACK , LOBBYING FOR A RED CARD ON ADE. LET THE REF DO THE OFFICIATING.
A goal , a disallowed goal ,and a sending off. WHAT A START!
Vermalen is called for a foul on LUFC Academy in the Spurs box.
PINS AND NEEDLES FOR GOONER AND WAYNE?
Nice tackle by Bale on Theo for an Arsenal corner.
The corner fails to clear the first man, but the Gunners retain possession.
Great block by Fatty from Vermaelen, but it's all Gunners
GOAL !!! 1-1 AS MERTESACKEER SCORES HIS FIRST FOR THE GUNNERS AND FROM OPEN PLAY AS HE HEADS IN A GREAT CROSS THAT WOULD HAVE MADE ANY STRIKER PROUD.
It was a great run down the right by Theo as he easily beat the defender and put in a superb cross for Mertesacker to head home.
I want to mention that Theo showed his class minutes earlier as he was fouled, but stayed on his feet and played on when others would have easily gone down and rolled around , looking for a card. Well done Theo!
Naughty by Jack on Vertonghen. He would be wise not to commit any infractions as he was the one who lobbied for Ade to get an early bath.
Dafoe is flagged offside from a nice through ball.
Nice through ball from Jack to Theo, but Theo's control is poor and Kyle Naughton easily clears. Theo showed him a pair of clean heels for the goal
Morning MUR
Sorry I am late
I was doing some running around this morning but I did see all the action... what a shame about the red. I fear it will ruin the game.
1-1... good match so far though
Naughton is taken to school by Theo again as he wins a free kick just outside the box.
Great save by Lloris from a Giroud header off the free kick . Corner Guuners
Decent save by the Brad replacement
Lloris punches away the corner.
Good morning UWS. Great to have you here. This match has been a classic. The red card was the correct decision. An x rated challenge by Ade on Carzola. An easy decision for Webbie.
Now Spurs have a free kick.it is taken by Fatty, but nobody was there to connect
x rated
Stupid
Not a red in the 70s
Poor cross by Theo , straight to Lloris
Bale wins a Spurs corner.
Corner to Spurs...cleared
Giroud heads away the corner.
Perfect description of the red card, UWS. Well stated.
Naughty by LUFC Academy as he concedes a free kick just outside the box.
The free kick is headed away
I posted a photo on Book Face about a middle school whose nickname is the Mighty Red Ants. The Board read and I quote Have a Happy Tanksgiven. Estudents return Nov. 26th. Should I post on LOB?
Another save by the frenchman.. header should have been buried from 6 yards!
Great save by lloris from a Giroud header. Great cross by Sagna. Superb French footie.
It was a save by the frenchman from a frenchman off a cross by a frechman.
Goal!
Podolski with a slow roller into the net
GOAL!!! 2-1 GUNNERS AS POLDI SCORED WITH A SOFT FINISH. BRAD WOULD HAVE SAVED THAT
perhaps not as that shot took deflection that fooled Lloris. A Frenchman conceding two goals scored by Germans. He won't be pleased about that.
I was reading an article on the Daily Mail website about Scholes. He turned 38th yesterday
Can he join Sheringham and Strachan as being the only outfield players to play in the Prem at the age of 40?
What about Giggs
GOAL
THREE ONE!!
SPURS ARE OUT OF IT!!!!
Giroud with the Gunners' third
GOAL !!! 3-1 GUNNERS AS GIROUD SCORES TO MAKE IT 3-1 . LUFC ACADEMY WAS BOOKED A MINUTE EARLIER FOR A NASTY FOUL ON VERMALENE.
Giggs turns 39 this month. He and Scholes may do it as 40 year olds.
Halftime and 3-1 to the Gunners as Gooner must be dancing in the streets of Alex.
Half time... what must Adebayor be thinking!
Tony's boss won't be a happy chappy
did you see my comment posted at 8:24 about the Mighty Red Ants?
Bob still Sleeping in Seattle?
Goal in Scotland.. to Celtic
Aberdeen 0 Celtic 1
Rangers took a 2-1 lead against East Stirling(?)
I guess he didn't see the movie!
Rangers and Celtic will top their divisions, but Hibs go top if they win at bottom club , Dundee , later today.
What about those mighty Red Ants?
Rangers are leading at East Stirling at half time
East Stirling had a man sent off, so Rangers should get three points from this fixture.
I am off for a walk in the freezing Glenville weather.
I'll be back
Cheers, UWS. Beautiful weather in Harlingen this week.
Celtic now lead 0-2 at Aberdeen.
Missed the start of the second half due to loo duty as I did the first
Andy Two Saints and Ox appear to be coming off the bench to warm up.
Europa League action on Tanksgiven!
Sagna wins a corner off of Clint and Bale.
the corner from Fatty fails to beat the first man and is easily headed away
Vermaelen obstructs LUFC Academy on the far right.
Bale controls a poor free kick by Fatty , dribbles in circles, and wins a throw,
Theo is down from a challenge by Dawson, but webbie does not call a foul.
i am back.. what did I miss?
Theo is holding his arm is the physio is out on the pitch
Man Utd West Ham on ESPN on Wed Nov 28th
Not much. Theo is down, but seems to be okay.
Correct, but I will be at Bloody work.
We should call Bob " Sleepy in Seattle." Your thoughts?
Spurs have gone to three at the back. Have they been dangerous?
You did miss so demos by Fatty Huddlestone on how not to take set pieces.
Not really as per my comment on Fatty Huddlestone.
Sounds good to me... he's going to say it is just turning 6 a.m. but surely he's still on the eastern time!!
What a wimp!
Celtic have won 0-2 at Aberdeen
I am off to the loo
Agreed, UWS. Will you be around for Leeds at Millwall tomorrow morning in the Hooligan Derby?
Cheers. I have been several times this morning
Rangers now lead 1-3 at ten man east Stirling, but East Stirling score to pull it back to 2-3.
GOAL !!! 4-1 AS CARZOLA EASILY SCORES WITH A FAR POST FINISH. IT WAS AN ENGLISH STYLE GOAL AS A LONG GOAL KICK WAS HEADED TO THEO, HE PUT POLDI THROUGH DOWN THE LEFT, THEN HE PASSED FOR CARZOLA TO EASILY FINISH
Giorud has a shot deflected for a corner.
LUFC puts Clint through and he wins a corner off of Kos.
Sours keep possession as a corner from Bale was headed away and a tame effort from Fatty was blocked. great run by Bale , but well tackled.
It was a great tackle by Pioldi , back there defending for the team
Theo was through and won a corner off of Lloris
Poor corner from Theo fails to beat the first man. 100 comments!
Rangers now lead 2-4 at East Stirling.
Useless cross by Vermaelen as the Gunners are toying with Spurs.
Lloris does well to come out and gather from Giroud as it was nice pass from Carzola to Poldi, who put Giroud through
AVB about to walk the plank twice in 2012?
GOAL !!!! CONSOLATION FOR SPRUS THAT BASICALLY CAME OUT OF NOTHING AS SANDRO HEADED A LONG GUNNERS CLEARANCE FROM MIDFIELD AND BALE SCORED FROM LONG RANGE . THEY TRAIL 4-2.
Ramsey on for Young Jack.
Missed two goals in the loo!!
Rangers now lead 2-5 at East Stirling
Struth almost in again.. could this be 4-4
Correct, UWS. What a match. Your morning sounds just like mine.
Carzola scored for Arsenal and Bale for Spurs.
Will you be around for Leeds at Millwall in the Hooligan derby tomorrow morning?
Poor control by Theo as he was put through with just the keeper to beat
Walcott overruns the ball .... he does that too often for me. I don't think he should be an England international
Young Tom Carroll came on for Fatty in only his second ever EPL appearance. He played eleven minutes in the defeat vs Wigan.
Theo was brilliant in the first half.
swing and miss by Defoe at the back post
Tony Cottee is not too impressed with the Gunner defending
The Spurs defending is even worse. AVB to walk the plank twice in 2012?
Another useless Gunners cross, this time on the break and straight to lloris.
Poor break by the Arse
Podolski still on the field... he gets a yellow and is being substituted... I don't think he has played a full 90 minutes all season... WHY?
Poldi picks up a stupid yellow for refusing to get off the pitch when being subbed. Andy Two Saints is on in his place.
Not sure, UWS.
You never told me if you would be around tomorrow morning to support our Bob tomorrow morning in the Hooligan Derby.
I will be here
I have to go to the bank for... hope I won't miss anything
enjoy your trip, UWS. Ox for Giroud.
Ox has a shot blocked , then puts in a poor cross.
USeless by Gallas, who is the target of the boo boys. Nice crossfield pass from young Carroll.
Poor foul by Vertonghern on Ox.
GOAL !!! 2-5 GUNNERS AS SPURS CHEAPLY CONCEDED POSSESSION, OX WENT DOWN THE RIGHT WITH A SPEEDY RUN AND FOUND THEO, WHO FINISHED EASILY.
I think UWS missed all, but one goal. Naughty from UWS.
Actually , 5-2, not 2-5.
The Gunners win 5-2 as AVB is surely on borrowed time. Rangers won 2-6 at East Stirling.
I'm back
I missed another goal!
Exactly the same scoreline as last season
Rangers won 6-2
I did see the first half goals!!
Gooner should be dancing in the streets of Alex while Sleepy in Seattle missed a classic and UWS saw one goal.
I see, UWS. Some Arseing, in the spirit of the North London Derby ! BOOM BOOM!
West Brom Chelsea up next on FSC
Three of SS panel picked a draw and one picked a Baggies win... hope they're all not wrong
Next, On FSC, the Baggies host Chelsea as two old friends in Steve Clarke and RDM are the opposing managers. A return to the Hawthorns for RDM. I hope the Baggies, the surprise team of the season, can pull an upset.
Same here, UWS.

Chicharito on EPSN
He wants a hat-trick for last week
FINALLY! IT'S ON AT THE THIRD ATTEMPT AND BLOODY PHIL THOMPSON IS BABBLING!
Agreed about Chicharito. I don't have a need to turn on the link prior to the 10 AM kickoffs.
I like to hear the chatter
Chich seems to be happy at OT
QPR vs Sotton is not a relegation six pointer. They will be doing it again next year in the Championship. Both teams deserve naught
I sure hope so. I guess chatter is good.
Itay Schechter, the Israeli international, will make his debut for the Swans at SJP.
Turn over ESPN and get a game right away.. boy do we have it good
Orel Romeu makes a rare start for Chelsea.
We're off at the Hawthorns
They're off from the Hawthorns.
COME ON YOU BAGGIES!
we sure do. I remeber the good old days when we had to watch highlights.
Chelsea with a weak side ... CL in RDM's mind?
United could play their reserves for the rest of the group games.... LOVELY
When do you get off off Tanksgiven? How about your estudents?
Agreed, UWS.
Rotherham's stadium is called 'New York Stadium'
Strange
James from Surrey on text via 81111: "Just searched "Oriol Romeu highlights" on YouTube and literally nothing came up. What must he be doing in training to get picked ahead of our bench?!?"
Maicon starting for Citeh today
COME ON VILLA... JUST LIKE THE LEAGUE CUP MATCH PLEASE!
Did you hear at Neil Sullivan. At age 42, he goes on loan to the Real Dons in his second spell at the Dons , from Donny. I think he will make his debut today? Or is it his first spell as the Dons became the Fake Dons? Some help needed.
I don't get the Wed off.
Just Th and Fr
Another goal at the New York Stadium 1-1... Giants and Jets are deadlocked! Or is it the Mets v Yanks?
Another goal at the New York Stadium. Goals aplenty in Gotham City. You could have gone to that match.
BBC Radio 5 live's Jimmy Armfield at Etihad Stadium:
"If Villa do anything but lose today it will be a coupon buster. They are capable, but they have a tendency to give soft goals away at the wrong time, which we saw against Manchester United last weekend."
The girls and I get Wednesday, Thursday , and Friday off. Some districts have the whole week off.
I hope Villa get it right today
Brighton take the lead at Huddersfield
Will you start watching matches at the New York Stadium?
We have had the Wed day off a few years but not recently
Chelsea almost in
Great save by Bo Myhill then the Baggies block a shot.
Sorry to hear that , UWS.
At least Rotherham is in Yorkshire... but isn't it OLD York
I guess it is the NEW stadium in York
According to Merse. Ridgewell cleared off the line from Bertrand.
A play on words , UWS!
Bugger.. Leicester score against Ipswich
Goal in the Prem... to Everton at Reading
The Foxes take the lead vs the Tractor Boyz at the Crisps
Steven Naismith with the Everton goal.
YES!!!!
WEST BROM TAKE THE LEAD!!!
SHANE LONG....MAY IT CONTINUE
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!
SHANE LONG GIVES THE BAGGIES THE LEAD ON THE COUNTER
I would luv it if they beat Chelsea... Luv it
Great cross for Long to head home after a great run by Gera. Chelsea wanted a pen for handball seconds earlier.
Me too. Love the long comment.
West Brom and Everton 4th and 5th both winning... they both have been impressive
Did you hear about Neil Sullivan going back to Wimbledon.
Palace take the lead against Derby
I remember Bob calling Palace useless at the beginning of the season.. they're on fire !
What do you mean go back?
