Lakenheath Old Boys
We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

Wahay - I've got Five Live coverage of the match coming up on their radio player. Hoping it continues.
Bugger - "rights restrictions on the Derby v. Leeds.
Celtic have taken an early Leeds away to Kilmarnock. zzzzzzzzz
Good morning BD. I am here until it is time for us to leave.
Still 0-0 as Paul Green returns to Pride Park.
COME ON YOU BLUES!
A nasty fall for Beccchio and he seems to be okay after being down
PHEW! Connor Salmon was through on goal and Paddy Kenny attempted to clear , but iut l;ed to a corner.Theo Robinson had a header deflected out for another corner. The next corner was cleared.
Actually, when Paddy Kenny went to clear, It cannoned off another Leeds player for that corner.
Ross is fouled by Buxton just outside the box.
Hiya, MUR - great to have you on board. How are you getting updates on the match. I've got nought.
Poor free kick by Ross is well over.
I am watching on the ususal ITV link, BD.
BUGGER !!!! 1-0 DERBY AS CONNOR SALMON SCORES. A QUICK FREE KICK IN MIDFIELD AND LEEDS FELL ASLEEP AND CONNOR SALMON WRONG FOOTED PADDY KENNY FOR AN EASY FINISH.
Hughes put Slamon through, he wrong footed Lee Peltier, then then wrong footted Paddy Kennny.
Can you post the link, mate? I didn't see one.
That Derby goal drops us down to 12th. Bugger!
Im on the following link:
www.thefirstrow.eu/watch/157709/1/watch-derby-county-vs-leeds-united.html
David Nooris fouls Tom Hendrik just outside the Leeds box.
The free kick was lofted in , but it was well defended by Leeds and went out for a goal kick
Were you able to get on, BD?
Theo Robinson was throuigh on goal, but Paddy Keeny was well out to blopck for a corner after a nice one two with Connort Salmon. The corner from Coots was cleared
Not yet - I'm having real problems with links this morning. Not sure why.
Slamon was through on goal after winning the ball in midfield and played a one two with 17 yeard ols Will Hughes, but was well tackled by Tom Lees.
Sorry, BD.Hope you can get on.
Adam Legzdins was well out to clear as Ross was through on goal.
It is time to for us to leave. I hope to be back before the end of the 10AM matches. Cheers, BD.
Morning Bob
I forgot about the early non prem game
sorry about the score
Do you have a link?
Hiya, UWS - very frustrating morning. MUR is on a link but it's not working for me.
Hi and Bye MUR.
Ah - finally...I'm on. Cheers, mate.
Link 3 here:
www.thefirstrow.eu/watch/157709/1/watch-derby-county-vs-leeds-united.html
Have you tried any of these?
http://www.wiziwig.tv/broadcast.php?matchid=182607&part=sports
the cricfee.tv works for me
Maybe now that I'm successfully on a link, the boys will start playing. The commentator links that Warnock needs to have a rethink at half-time. Still about 8 minutes left of the half.
Cheerio, MUR - thanks for the link, mate!
I have the SS link from FR and the Leeds match in circfrree
We look rubbish - back to our November form.
We need this goal back before the interval. Come on!
Hall....straight into the wall. Boom boom!
The Derby crowd are quiet as churchmice.
Oh - nearly an o.g. by Tom Lees as the ball came over on a slippy surface.
My link has not clock on the screen... it's weird that it doesn't seem right without it now
GOAL!!!!!!!
Paul Green levels it on his return to Derby County!
YES!!
GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Out of nothing. A long ball launched into the area by Tonge, nodded down expertly by Becchio and Green flicked home like an experienced striker. Good goal!
1-1!
I think you might be slightly ahead of me.... or you're a really fast typer!
Wow - up to 9th with that goal from Paul Green.
I was first worried it was offside but it was not even close
Nasty one there by Connor Salmon on Becchio. Nothing given.
And that's half-time. Frustrating first period when I wasn't able to follow it, but once I was on a working link, we scored in short order. MOT!
I am glad that Derby continued to play when Bech was down
Yup.. you are aead... I just went to half time
off to visit the loo
A bit of the Leeds United Calypso here at Blue Devil HQ as the boys get us started.
Oh - and Ross had an early chance. Didn't take it.
Referee Mathieson doesn't seem to like us much. Clear studs up challenge there on Byram. Nothing called.
Free kick chance now for us....come on!
Poor delivery from Hall - should be a club ban.
I am here... is it going to be a win for the mighty... blues?
Useless corner... out for a throw in
Oh - nearly a second for us as the keeper tipped it around. We're definitely capable of winning this one.
Outrageous overhead effort there from Ross. Well wide. Great sound coming from the Leeds away faithful.
Send me your link... the overhead kick just happened for me
www.thefirstrow.eu/watch/157709/1/watch-derby-county-vs-leeds-united.html
Konnor Sammon was in there but ruled offside. Phew!
I'm on Link 3 at that address.
Sammon again - he is a nuisance.
Cheers
Thommo caught with Maltelsers stuck in his mouth... classic
Whatever address you sent me went straight to the match... working well
Great! Derby in any with Hughes - good save by Kenny. He's keeping us in this.
Looks like Luke Varney is about to come on - another player with Derby connections.
Oh - great saving header there by Tom Lees.
Bugger! Keogh restores Derby's lead - we're down again.
2-1
Bloody hell...sorry mate!
Terrible clearance Clarence!!
Who tried to head it away?
Might have been Jake Buxton's goal in the end. Derby rampaging forward again now. We need that change but quickly. Really under it now.
The poor clearance was by Becchio. A striker's defensive header there for sure.
Will Hughes gets a yellow for a late challenge on Sam Byram.
Definitely not Dahlgren-like clearance!
Nice hit by Norris!
Just saw a Hand of God attempt by Suarez in their last game against Sotton. He got booked and is suspended for today... I think
What an atrocious free kick!!!
Cheers, mate. We're giving it a go again now looking for another equalizer.
Spitty coming on
Spitty comes on for Ross.
He gets booed every where he goes!
Inside of the post!!!
Spitty wins a cheap one for us - his specialty.
And now we can swing a free kick in. Oh - that was a good delivery.
oh - and another fabulous cross, but Tom Lees header went onto the inside of the post and came back out! So close!
Spitty is "like Marmite - love him or loathe him." Good line from the commentator.
Just getting your Christmas card ready - I think you'll enjoy this one.
Our last change - Aidy White on for David Norris.
I am going to say it.... IT'S LEEDS TIME!!
Cheers, mate - we need it. Less than 10 minutes to dig this one out.
Cheers mate
We haven't even thought of Christmas cards yet!!
Oh - Spitty nearly leveled it! Just wide.
Oh - wide again from Spitty. He's got to rearrange his sights on goal just a wee bit to the left.
FSC setting up Arsenal v. WBA now.
Back to the Prem... I hope that six -goal outing last match doesn't kick start Chelsea and Torres... i want them to continue to suck!
It's all Route One for us now. Big hoof by Kenny. We're at least finishing strongly. We have scored some late ones this season.
ESPN have the Sunderland Chelsea match
We want a point, we want a point. Eee ay addio, we want a point!
Which one are you watching?
Both.. but I think the Arsenal match will be a better one
My SS link is now starting to pause... not now!
Leeds want a pen... not given
Oh - big shout for a penalty but nothing given by referee Matheison. We wuz robbed!
Goal kick as the clock approaches the 90th minute... four added minutes
There may have been a bit of contact but i think it was out of the box anyway
I HATE THESE LATE SUBSTITUTIONS!
EVERYONE KNOWS IT IS JUST TO WASTE TIME
They should be banned
Derby are corner flagging it now.
A late, late free kick deep in our territory. Got to be a big kadumph!
Bugger - that's torn it - a third goal for Derby.
Our three -game winning streak is at an end.
Bloody corner flagging it
wasn't that a goal kick?
Corner given
I HATE THE CORNER FLAGGING OF THE BALL TOO
It's all so negative
STRUTH.... great shot and 3-1... sorry mate
Turned the link off right away!
Lamps on the bench for the Blues
So, we'll finish in 12th, four points outside the playoff spots for now. 29 points from 21 matches. 29 points to win for safety in the Championship.
Who will get back on track at the Em
Both teams in a rut at the moment
Former Derby midfielder Robbie Savage at Pride Park on BBC Radio 5 live:
"Leeds had a great spell at the start of the second half but Derby have deserved this win as they have been the better team overall."
We're off at the EM
Teams out at the Emirates and about to start what seems to be a fascinating Premiership encounter. Fifth v. Tenth -but not what you'd expect.
and at SoL
Put a sock in it, Robbie!
Teams at the Emirates:
Arsenal - Sussudio, Sagna, Mert, Verminator, Gibbs, Wilshere, Arteta, Cazorla, The Ox, Gervinho, Giroud.
WBA - Myhill, Reid, Olsson, McAuley, Ridgewell, Brunt, Morrison, Mulumbu, Gera, Odoemwinge, Long.
Chelsea should have had a pen according to Charlie... didn't see it
Nice move from Chelsea.... they look good.. bugger
Sheff Wed take the lead at home to Bristol C
Two big relegation battles today - Soton v. Reading and Wigan v. QPR.
Come on you Black Cats.. .make me purr
LOL! Nice one, UWS.
Did you see the stupidity of Liam Ridgewell this week?
All Southampton against Reading
No - I didn't. I noticed he just kicked his own post trying to clear out that Arsenal effort. What else?
Gervinho is absolutely hopeless... how does he get a place in the side?
He either videoed or took pictures of him wiping his bum on the toilet with 20 pounds notes!!
It's just the obvious lack of attacking options.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2242281/Liam-Ridgewell-Premier-League-footballer-pictured-wiping-20-notes.html
Middle take the lead against Peter in the battle of the Boros
Goal... Torres with a nice volley to put Chelsea on top!
BUGGER!
They have turned the corner
GOAL! Torres is back in scoring form. After his brace in midweek, he's got another one at the SoL.
I was worried about that six goal outing midweek would turn the corner for Chelsea
Charlton take the lead against Brighton at the Valley
Back in a tick.
some cockney lady reporting from Portman Road
Cambridge U take the lead at home to Gateshead... they need some more wins to get away from the drop zone. They won 4-2 away midweek
Goal in Wales.. to the East Anglians... Norwich are on fire
I do like ESPN updating other scores during the match
FSC don't do it
Sheff Utd take the lead at Carlisle just as Wednesday concede to go 1-1
Goal somewhere... at the DW to Wigan against QPR
Middle double their lead over Peter
ooh, that was close by the Baggies... just wide
Penalty to the Arse!
Corzola doesn't get touched... Ashley Young style dive!
Arteta to take.... goal... one nil to the Arse
Never a pen... of course Arsen won't have seen it
Shocking stuff from Cazorla. Totally conned the ref.
Arteta converts from 1-0.
SS... "pantomime season... awful dive"
He's a striker... why wouldn't he want to shoot after the move
QPR tie it up at Wigan
I want managers... SAF included... to say it is not wanted at our club. Will Arsene saying anything
Decent attack by Sunderland.. two chances in a short time
I'll take a performance from Chelsea like last week
Leading at half time and playing well.... lose 3-1
Come on you Mackems!!
Tranmere take the lead over Pompey
I don't really think you have to worry about Chelski....or Arsenal, this season. It's you and the "noisy neighbors" for the title.
Oh - Gervinho fizzes a cross along the six yard box. A howler from Wilshere. Should be 2-0 up.
Looks like a handball on Meresacker, but not given. Arsenal certainly getting the decisions at the Em.
Leicester City losing to Barnsley at home
The Five Live crew were predicting a load of 1-1 scoredraws in the Prem today - they could be right.
Norwich are 0-2 up now.
Another goal at the Liberty... to the Canaries
2-0
more good news for East Anglia
Ipswich take the lead at home against Millwall
Blackpool take the lead at Selhurst Park
Watford are losing at home to Hull
Into the bottom half again - 16th.
Struth.. Norwich are three up!
Lost my SS link
Got it back
Holt from a Snoddy corner.
Gooaless at half time at St. Mary's and Villa Park
Torres with a penalty now...scores - he's got a brace!
Penalty to Chelsea in added time... stupid challenge
Footballers are stupid
Torres... two nil
his first pen in English football
Off for a much-needed shower.
Half time in Sunderland... stupid ending by the Sunderland players!
Off for walkies in a wet Glenville
I am back.. just in time for the second
Cambridge are two up against Gateshead
Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker on Twitter:
"Great first 45 minutes. Two for Torres, Norwich on rampage, appalling dive from Arsenal's Cazorla. MOTD taking shape nicely."
Norwich hit the crossbar
Chelsea are three up... Mata with the goal from a rebound after Torres hits the crossbar
Chelsea are back?
Swans get a goal back.. Michu with another goal!
Pompey tie it up with Tranmere
Peter has made it Desmond against Middle... they were two down
Ipswich two up... both goals against the run of play
Could be three straight wins for Flippin Heck McCarthy
Back from the shower and I see that Swansea have pegged one back. Otherwise, the Premiership scores look the same to me.
Welcome back
Chelsea are three up
Wigan just hit the crossbar... well on top
OH - Gervinho should have done better with that headed chance. Gibbs did well to find him in the area.
Palace tie it up with Blackpool
Where did Hollyway go when he left Bpool?
Not sure, do you know?
Oooh - I notice that it's Michu who got Swansea's goal - he's on top of the Golden Boot stakes now with 11.
A goal to Sotton... Le Tis is a happy camper
not sure.. .I'll google it
Swansea 2 Norwich 3!!!
Rangers take the lead at home to Stirling Albion
Swans have got another back - 2-3 now. Game on!
You did know - Ian Holloway is at Palace, according to Wikipedia.
I thought so..he's at Palace... I haven't heard them mention it with both teams playing each other
Cambrdige three up
I had an inkling.. but didn't know
Penalty to Arsenal again!!
WBA wanted a foul by the Ox before he was fouled
The Ox takes a tumble in the box and it's another penalty. This one looks right.
Clear penalty but should have got there
Arteta for a brace... goal... same pen
Doesn't this keeper learn!!
